I booked the cottage as a gift for my Mom and her partner, they absolutely loved it. They said the space is absolutely incredible, on the second night they were treated to a herd of springbok right outside the cottage.

Nadia’s place was fantastic and we really enjoyed our short stay. Everything was well thought through and communication was excellent. Thanks Nadia - what a beautiful place you have - we hope to come back for longer next time!

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect to reconnect, Sundowner Cottage is pure magic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere. The hot tub was an absolute highlight—pure relaxation under the open sky! The cottage itself is immaculate, beautifully furnished, and so thoughtfully equipped—from board games and playing cards to mosquito repellent, they’ve thought of everything! Sitting on the deck, watching kudu, eland, and springbok wander past, was an unforgettable experience. We had no desire to explore beyond the cottage—it was our own little haven of tranquility. A huge thank you to Jackie for creating such a special retreat!

We had a lovely and peaceful family breakaway. The tents have all you need to make your stay comfy while still giving a camping feel.

You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Loved it here, was peaceful and enjoyable. Comfy bed and pillows, spotless kitchen with everything you need.. Beautiful aspect, great hot tub and braii,, beautiful outside space where you can sit and relax or sunbath. Easy check in and check out. Our host Harry, was always available for any questions i’m very accommodating, we would definitely recommend staying here and we would like to go back again next year!

Breathtaking views and such a good location. Had a little difficulty getting up to the cabin with my car but it is quite low. Overall had a great experience!

This is a beautiful apartment. We had use of the whole first floor which included 2 double bedrooms ( there were only 2 of us ) and a kitchen, bathroom, and the outside private balcony with 2 seating areas, with views across to Hemanus. We could hear the sea all night which was lovely. It was beautifully decorated and spacious and clean. The host Katrin was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes! Eine sehr liebevoll gestaltete Ruheoase mit Blick in die Weite. Außer ein paar Affen schaut hier wirklich niemand vorbei. :) wir hatten zwei wunderbare Tage hier und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Traumhaft!

More than a stay, this was an experience! What a wonderful tribute to a bygone era, this was a beautiful restoration of a 1942 railway coach. We loved our stay here. The accommodation was stunning, spacious and all amenities perfectly maintained. Please make time to enjoy the braai and specially the wood fire heated outdoor tub. Under the starry sky, this was our highlight. We will be back!

What an amazing tranquil experience. The views were breathtaking, and the rustic charm of the cottage made us feel at home while still enjoying a getaway. The hospitality was exceptional. They had everything we needed on the farm so we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to. They had a shower and hot tub outside that made the experience even more relaxing. The proximity of the pool and Lapa with a pizza oven added to the convenience, creating a cozy atmosphere. It was a truly relaxing experience that soothed the soul.

I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. Aesthetically pleasing, very comfortable and felt right at home. It had everything we needed and more. More in the sense of braaing essentials, laundry and dishwasher pods etc. The beds are comfortable and guarantee a good rest and the place offers a tranquil getaway. Loved the pool. The host is also very responsive. I’d definitely recommend and return. There is wire fencing and a gate so pedestrians can see into the Airbnb. Frequently there would be locals at the gate calling out for donations even when inside and not visible. It could be because we were there over the festive season but I didn’t expect this to be an ongoing activity during our stay.

If you're seeking a truly remote and unplugged experience, this cabin is the perfect escape! Highly recommend it! With minimal lighting, it's an ideal spot for stargazing. While it got quite warm during our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in the tub before warming it up for a relaxing evening.

Hübsche Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, nicht weit vom Zentrum von Hermanus entfernt. Das Garden Cottage ist mit Geschmack und viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es verfügt über ein besonders bequemes Bett und ein großzügiges Badezimmer. Annie ist eine äußerst sympathische, weltgewandte Gastgeberin. Sie gibt die besten Tipps für Bars und Restaurants. Unbedingt auf sie hören! Auf den berühmten Cliff Path kommt man direkt zu Fuß von der Unterkunft. Zum weitläufigen Dünen-Strand gelangt man nach einer kurzen Autofahrt. Wir können das Garden Cottage empfehlen.

The place was as beautiful as the pictures and very well located. The farm had hiking trails that we could explore and it was so lovely. The view of the mountains was something out of a painting and definitely worth it to gaze upon every morning. The kitchen was well stocked with high end utilities and we did not lack for anything.
