The Blue House is a soulful and creative retreat. Full of quirky touches that make you smile. Everything in the place is there for a reason. The inside has everything you need, and the 3 porches invite you to experience the wonder of the natural beauty all around. Our host, Cynta, is a guide and a friend to all. This is our second visit, and I hope not our last.

Clean and charming home, perfect for our weekend trip!

The rock house is the perfect peaceful getaway from city living. Sit on the front porch and listen to the bird songs of cactus wrens and curve-billed thrashers in the trees. Sunsets behind the mountain range to the west were absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for hosting, hope to be back soon!

Hands down the BEST place to stay while exploring Big Bend! Being in the ghost town with the beautiful views, quiet atmosphere, private home with every amenity plus some provided a unique and wonderful experience for our family. This adorable casa was pristine clean, organized and comfortable for the duration of our stay. Proximity to the National and State parks was perfect for our day trips. Walking a path to the Starlight Theater was fun too! Local eats are within minutes, but we enjoyed cooking at the casa too! Such a beautiful slice of heaven that allowed us to enjoy and relax while on our Texan adventure. LaNetta and Jared are exceptional hosts!

Excellent base camp between Midland and Big Bend. We fell in love with Reata Restaurant and we went for dinner all 3 nights of our stay. Highly recommend visiting Big Bend National Park as well as the scenic drive up north 118 through the Davis mountains. We had an amazing trip and a great stay in Alpine

Peaceful retreat with gorgeous views. Well stocked kitchen. Bathroom is a separate building but located immediately next door - the host provided slippers to go between! Three great restaurants within 5 miles. Highly recommend!

Our fourth stay at Casa Vieja. Always clean and comfortable and functional. This year, we built a fire in the courtyard fireplace and star-gazed for hours. Very memorable stay.

This rental was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Great place for a reasonable price.

Jean’s place showed a lot of care and attention. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. We liked our stay there very much. I am sure Jean and Brenda put a lot of attention into making this apartment a welcoming oasis for their guests.

Enjoyed the property. Close to great coffee (Vice) and dinner (Reata). Would highly recommend this place. Was a bit hard to find, the directions were accurate, I didn't read them close enough!

Cutest place ever! My dogs and I loved it so much, we stayed longer than planned. The sleep loft is cozy, the little outdoor space is great for morning coffee, and you can walk everywhere! This is my favorite place in Alpine from now on. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you, April!

We had a blast. It was amazing to stay in a tipi, beautiful location. If you do stay there it does get cold but we didn’t mind it we loved it. The heating blanket didn’t work and they do need better heaters. Others then that we loved it. You have to remember it’s a tipi it’s not a hotel. Fun fun fun.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Jean & Richard's Texana Cottage. It was very welcoming, homey and comfortable. Without a doubt the best equipped kitchen in any airbnb we have seen - and some delicious treats to go with the local coffee. There was local information in the cottage plus a wealth of books with much information including history, wildlife and flora, geology and Big Bend National Park. (And of course regional cookbooks!) We would undoubtedly look forward to staying there again.

Great location for big bend and Terlingua. Very simple but has all the necessities and is very clean.
