It's a lovely apartment in a fantastic location. It's only a couple of minutes walk to Gleneagles Hotel if you have an event there or are going for food or a drink. We were using it to attend a family wedding and the location could not have been more perfect for us. There are also lovely walks right on your doorstep.

Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Great place with plenty of space, nice and clean. Amazing seaside views and round the corner from the high street. Would love to stay again!

Excellent property matching exactly with the description and providing everything we need for our short stay. Good location and easy to find.

We had a lovely stay in Scott’s very attractive, comfortable flat. It’s got a really nice outdoor patio area and the walk along the harbour is fun to do. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and the parking is very straightforward. Scott himself was very friendly and helpful. All in all quite a find!

What an excellent AirBnB - Rachel was a fabulous host, very communicative and the apartment had everything you could need. Would certainly recommend anyone visiting Edinburgh to book with Rachel in future, we will be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an amazing apartment everything from the place itself to the location was perfect walking distance to beautiful Edinburgh city centre with lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate area ! Valentina is a great host too

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Andy was a great host – very friendly and always quick to reply to our messages. We especially appreciated the convenient location, being only a 6-minute drive from the train station. The free parking there was a real bonus, and the 25-minute train journey to Edinburgh city center made exploring the city very easy. It's a perfect base for visiting Edinburgh!

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

This is a good base for exploring the Trossachs. The house is comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious accommodation (we were there as three couples). Although it’s on the main road through town, it was very quiet at night. Aaron is a friendly and helpful host and we had a great time here.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. We had a fabulous overnight stay at Janette's place on our travel south from Wester Ross. As a party of five, including two dogs and a toddler, we were thoroughly impressed by the property's welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. The house was impeccably clean, creating a cosy and inviting environment. The spacious living areas allowed us to relax comfortably, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare a quick evening. The outside spaces were a wonderful bonus, providing a great space for our dogs to stretch their legs and for us to enjoy some fresh air. Janette was a great host, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay, including a travel cot and high chair for our toddler. The location was perfect for a restful stopover, with easy access to local shops and EV chargers. We highly recommend Janette's place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. It was the ideal stopover location on our return travel home!

Had a lovely stay in Rutherglen. the accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean with everything you could want. The hot tub was a real bonus. Short 10 minute walk to the train station and then the train takes you straight to the city centre in less than 10 minutes, so much easier than driving and parking. An Aldi close by if you need any shopping. Laura was very responsive as a host, good instructions.

J avais hésité à m éloigner un peu de la vieille ville ! Je ne regrette pas du tout mon choix ! Le temps était avec nous et nous avons pu profiter du jardin et de la terrasse de Usman ! La maison est très agréable, au calme !!! 3 chambres spacieuses, 2 salle de bain , 3 toilettes ! Cuisine indépendante et salon ! Usman est très disponible et super réactif !!! Nous sommes arrivés tard ! Notre premier petit déjeuner nous attendait… La maison est à 2 minutes à pied d un petit supermarché et très bien desservie en bus !!! Il en passe toutes les 5 min pour la vieille ville et on y est entre 20 et 40 min selon les heures et les bus …

Jamie’s place was great for a short stay. It was spotless, comfortable and had everything you needed. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Great space and comfortable for my family! The beds weren’t super comfortable, but they worked fine. The flat is down some steps, but level upon entry. The host had some nice little touches for us. It could use a deep clean, cobwebs, a dead bug in the bed, etc, but main surfaces were clean. It was such an easy walk to so many things. A larger Tesco around 10 mins away, but two markets really close. We loved The Orchard, Stockbridge, Fika in the AM, and exploring incredible Edinburgh on foot. We would definitely stay here again.

What a gem of a place. Perfect location for our spa day at Gleneagles. Beautifully appointed, the beds were so comfortable and we got the best sleep. Everything you could need for a stay away.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

The place was large, bright and very clean. The beds were comfortable and bedding was wonderful, incl. a blanket. Sharon is a Great host, had a few questions in which she was quick to answer.

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburough. Gintare’s apartment is beautiful. I love the way the rooms were laid out in the apartment. A large entryway with a convenient place to hang your coats. The kitchen was spacious with a round table next to the window. It was fully equipped and found that it was so thoughtful of the host to have tea, coffee and sugar available for guests. On the right side of the entrance was the living room with plenty of seating. We felt like we all had space and were not on top of one another. The bedrooms were also spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is conveniently located and walkable to everything that we wanted to see. If you need a break from walking there is a tram a two minute walk from the apartment. What I loved best about the location however was the amazing sourdough bakery across the street, Twelve Triangles!!! We went there every morning and brought home lattes, fresh milk, pastries, sourdough bread and jam.

Michelle was wonderful. We had an overnight flight but were allowed to leave bags early and check in several hours earlier. Michelle was responsive and a great resource. Shower was a bit tricky to navigate, and could have used some extra towels but otherwise everything was as described. Had some trouble with the dryer our last day, but things break down so no big deal. We loved the location. Be prepared for City noise - some ear plugs took care of that! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for an awesome stay!

The apartment is in a good location with good transport link via bus and train for our stay in Edinburgh. Apartment was clean and well furnished. Sue was really helpful before our visit and responded quickly our questions. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Me ha gustado que Dora contestara pronto a mis dudas. El apartamento es tal cual se anuncia, muy limpio y la cocina muy amplia y con todo el menaje que necesitas. Solo a tres paradas de tranvía para llegar al centro, y lo bueno que el tranvía llega hasta al aeropuerto. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Muchas gracias Dora!!
