We loved our stay by the sea, everything was of a high standard and the beds were extremely comfortable and great views from the rooms. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. We would certainly recommend for a visit to Stonehaven, you would not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of staying in Ricky and Katrina’s apartment for over two months while finishing up my research at the university, and it was a fantastic experience. The apartment itself is cosy and quiet, with a lovely view of the market square, which regularly hosts local markets and events on weekends. It’s the perfect place for anyone needing a peaceful space to focus, just as I had hoped. Throughout my stay, Katrina was responsive and understanding, always ready to help with any issues that came up. Her butcher shop below the apartment offers some truly delicious teriyaki salmon fillets—definitely don’t miss them if you have a kitchen! If you’re looking for a short stay in Stonehaven or a quiet, well-maintained spot to commute to nearby Aberdeen (or Edinburgh, if not frequent), I highly recommend staying at their place. It’s in a great location and makes for the perfect retreat for anyone needing a peaceful home base.

Puffin Cottage was beautiful, exactly as advertised. A perfect place for a peaceful break with sea views. It was pristine and thankfully not cluttered with personal touches which to be honest puts me off. Trudy was lovely to be in touch with . Lovely base to explore the north east . Maison traditionnelle vaste, bien rénovée et décorée, belle cuisine bien équipée , literie confortable, magnifique vue sur la baie, très calme, place de parking dédiée, assurément un lieu de rêve écossais

Just like the pictures, great sea views. Nice sized rooms, plenty hot water, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel supplied. Tea &coffee plus yummy truffles also included. On site parking was pretty tight so opted to park on the quiet street. 100% would recommend if Stonehaven accommodation is required.

We had a fantastic stay here and the views from the kitchen and living room were stunning. The location meant that it was just a quick dash from the freezing cold north sea into a hot bath, which is great if you enjoy wild swimming. When we arrived the flat was pristine and filled with thoughtful little details like Easter eggs for the children, left on the bed and little Easter treats scattered around the flat, which they loved! The flat is tastefully decorated with a sea theme and the children loved the Octopus soft toys. It is a lovely flat which a lot has thought has gone into and is well taken care of.

we wanted somewhere that we could be together as a family, this house gave us all we were looking for and more, the big kitchen diner was the hub of the home, we used it well, with the little lounge close by for that old man sneak away for 30 winks in peace, house was clean and tidy with plenty of those needed items, laundry, cooking and cleaning. good size rooms spread with bedrooms on 1st and 2nd floors, old man called shotgun on first :-), not because bigger, just less stairs. 2 good size bathrooms, like that 1 had over bath shower whilst the other had walk in shower. location is brill, 2 mins walk down to harbour and along to the very warm and welcoming Harbour bar and chipper with very tasty suppers. this was a great home, not house.. as it felt like a home, in a great location, very friendly. this is def a place to add to your list of pla es to stay

We had another wonderful stay in Victoria’s beautiful home in Footdee. Victoria is very good at communicating. She is responsive and friendly, and even reached out on our day of arrival to check we were all ok. The home itself is in a perfect location. It is seconds from the beach which is stunning, along with all the nearby facilities - a play park, cafes, some shops, a cinema and bowling, soft play, crazy golf, arcades and a fairground, which is ideal if you have children! The cottage is perfectly appointed with a very sensible use of space and has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed using the gas fire in the evenings in the living room for an extra touch of cosiness! The beds in both of the bedrooms are so comfortable, with lovely mattresses and pillows - they feel luxurious and such a treat! This was our second stay at Victoria’s home and we’ve already booked again for the summer! Thank you again for another wonderful stay Victoria!
