What a wonderful stay! Stuart was an absolutely fantastic and friendly host! The house was perfect for us and our parents with the two separate ends with bedrooms! We loved everything about our stay- especially the alpacas and kangaroos! It was bliss. Stuart is fantastic to meet and chat to and made us feel so comfortable and at home. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much Stuart for a wonderful, peaceful stay :) We had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at the Black Smith Corner very much. Lovely house walking distance to town if you feel like it. House has everything you need, well stocked kitchen and environmental friendly cleaning products. We had fresh herbs and limes as a welcome present on kitchen table when we arrived. We absolutely loved the spa👍and had a fantastic weekend.

Rustic farmhouse. 3 separate wings one just outside. Expect clean, not pristine. It’s a beautiful farmhouse with character. You can’t expect to be out there and not have bugs and cobwebs. It’s really cool checking out the things in the house. It’s such a good set up for kids and dogs they can run around having fun. The walk in pantry/larder is great. It’s a unique experience and I think good for kids to get back to nature and it’s dvds only. If they didn’t have their devices they might have a really cool, old school experience. Trampoline, fire pit, different decks. Just have realistic expectations, you can’t expect a new build when you book a farmhouse. I had fun getting the fire going. I’m petrified of magpies but the birds here were friendly. I liked it. Thank you!

A stunning place to stay while you explore the area or travel through the region. Excellent accommodation and amenities. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and am looking g forward to visiting again!

Sunnyhurst Chalets were the perfect location for us to stay with our 1.5 year old who loved the goats, playground and resident cat.

Mary’s cabin was comfortable and cozy and had everything for the night .Place was private yet surroundings were filled with many wildlife. Mary’s instruction were clear .Highly recommended

What a great place to escape to for some quiet, relaxing downtime! This is a quirky and fun but serene and peaceful stay. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The spa and hammock are a smashing extra. Lying in the hammock, listening to the birds and the breeze in the trees was lovely. Our 2 large dogs had plenty of room to roam safely which also makes for a relaxing break. Tim is a great host: very friendly and helpful. We felt really comfortable here and will definitely be back. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks for allowing us to share your wonderful space.

A must visit! The guest house is rustic and quaint. The standout experience was the farm tour. I am so thankful my boys got some insight ( as much as a 6 and 4 year old would appreciate ) of just how are running a farm is and I learnt a new found appreciation for ensuring we support local farmers! A very peaceful setting with beautiful nature surrounding the house. The kids enjoyed their adventures on their bicycles and the dog was very comfortable in the enclosed little garden. Beds were comfortable and the house was nice and cool on the hot days.

In a world filled with noise and hustle, your cabin is a gentle reminder that true celebration is found in slow mornings, breathtaking views of nature, the comforting scents of the farm, and the charming presence of your cheeky animals. Our last morning was especially memorable—we’re used to being woken up by our own dogs, but this time, it was one of your wonderfully vocal cows that greeted us with an early-morning moo! It was both hilarious and heartwarming to see her playful nature, and we absolutely loved the company. We also deeply appreciate the thoughtful details you’ve put into your cabin. From the seamless check-in to the cozy and beautifully designed space, everything was perfect. We can only imagine how magical it must be in winter—so we’ll have to come back for that.
