There aren't enough superlatives to describe The Granary. It's not just utterly beautiful, it's fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great walks around the grounds, loved the table tennis table and the pool/hot tub were a great way to chill. The sky was so clear, every night, we sat out star gazing, trully wonderful. Thanks to Jess for all the help and recommendations etc. And to Ben, for letting us back in when I locked us out 🫣 HIGHLY recommend.

Fabulous week, swallows nest cottage was lovely and the swimming pool was great, we were the only ones in there each time. Chris even opened the pool early for us which was much appreciated. Used the steam room too and the fabulous hot tub - had fabulous walks with our two spaniels, along the coast to Firehills was our favourite. The Cove pub was amazing, very dog friendly, warm (log fire) and welcoming, food fantastic. All in all a really lovely week. Chris and Erik very ready to help but totally happy to leave you to enjoy their lovely gardens etc. We’ll be back! Thank you Chris and Erik

We had a great stay, the lodge was easy to find and great location in a lovely area and short walk to the train station for access to the wider area. The spa was a great addition to an overall very relaxing weekend would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone else looking to book.

Cottage really cosy with a beautiful garden. Very modern kitchen which was very well equipped. Bathrooms also modern and clean . Bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of storage. Hot tub was a super feature especially after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

We had an amazing break at Peter & Karen’s place. The cabin is perfect, we were so comfortable! Peter is brilliant with communication, really helpful and friendly. Everything is just like in the pictures. The place is in a great state of repair, everything works perfectly. In the kitchen there’s a fridge, a dishwasher and a full electric hob with oven. The shower is great, loved the rainfall shower. The linen all smelled gorgeous and the bed was so big and comfortable, we had the best sleep. The pillows and duvet were perfect, so comfy! The wood burner was brilliant and gave such a lovely setting! I loved sitting on our patio surrounded by the gorgeous countryside, soaking us the sun! The jacuzzi was amazing, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool too. We had a thoroughly relaxing time, great walks, really enjoyed every second of our much needed break! We would love to come back again!

Tanya was an amazing host, the scones she baked were incredile. The cottage was clean and well equiped even for our 1 year old. The hot tub and swimming pool were clean and great fun.

This was our first experience of an Airbnb, and based on this we shall certainly use the service again. We chose this one based on the location, the facilities and the excellent reviews of the property and the host. It all lived up to our expectations and more. 1. Communication with the host was excellent from the initial booking process. 2. The location instructions were clear and access to the property was easy. 3. The property was as described, and spotlessly clean and tidy on arrival. 4. All the facilities we needed for a week’s stay were there, along with some unexpected extras. 5. The location was ideal for us. Turn right out of the drive, walk for 5 minutes, and you are on the beach. A grass promenade area running alongside was ideal for our 2 small dogs. 6. The hosts were excellent throughout, and were particularly helpful with one ‘special’ request. I would have no reservation about recommending this property, and we hope to be going back there when the opportunity arises.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and welcoming. We went out and about but enjoyed our time relaxing inside.

Bell cottage greets you with a very warm welcome. It’s exactly as described & spotlessly clean and has all that you need. Bell cottage sits in the heart of Alfriston. Plenty of beautiful walks to take offering fabulous views without needing the car. We were with our dog & there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat locally too Alfriston offers easy access to many nearby towns so there is always something to do. Definitely worth a visit & we will be back!

Excellent accommodation. Warm and very comfortable - although we were too warm on arrival, we were grateful for the heating when the temperature dropped! Excellent facilities. We chose this property as we wanted to attend a couple of events nearby but there is also lots to do - visit Brighton, walk along the coast & National Trust properties. Jane’s directions were very helpful and she ensured we were settled and happy with everything. Thanks for your hospitality - we will return!

Lovely location, we had a wonderful mini break, Caroline was brilliant and it was pleasant surprise to have some welcoming gifts. Lots do see & do near by, we visited local villages and the coast. The garden was a wonderful place to relax.

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

Joy is an amzing host. Greeted us on arrival. Showed us around and left tasty scones with delicious jam. Met Ren whicho ur dog teddy liked to paly with. Found it quite theraputic watching the Bees and walking in the field outback. Visited local town of Lewes. Some great local pubs. Excellent quiet venue but close enough if you want a town or pub. Cottage was clean. Well equiped. Fire place was amazing didnt need it for heat as radiators great but liked to watch the fire at night. Would definitely recommend and will boom again

A lovely little retreat with a fantastic secure garden for our dog. The kitchen was very well equipped with supplies and the bathroom also had ample products. Very comfortable bed! The instructions were easy on how to find it. Jon greeted and did a tour with lots of information on the local area which was great. The shower was amazing! Small kitchen/dining/lounge area but very comfortable and suited us fine for our short stay.

Was a lovely place and perfect for what we were looking for. Hosts were there when we needed. Such a lovely area also in easy walking distance to local bakery, restaurants and pubs.

We loved our stay, the house was exactly as described and matched or exceeded our expectations in every way. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. The area is incredibly peaceful at night and even during the day. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

My wife and I had a long stay at Caroline's place with our two children (5 and 3) while waiting on a house closing. We've had a lovely visit. Caroline's place is clean, well-laid out, beautiful and comfortable. It was a perfect size for our family. The area is quiet and peaceful with some nice nearby walks, a nearby playground and nearby cidery. Caroline has been a lovely host: always quick to respond, flexible with our requests, and generous with her time. I would have no hesitation recommending this property to family and friends.

Beautifully decorated cottage with a lovely relaxed aesthetic and cool poster art. Lovely and warm because of the Aga and comfy sofas and beds. Great to have the bridleway beside the cottage for walking up onto the ridge and a fabulous pub, The Bull, for evening meals just a 5 minute drive away in Ditchling.

Logement totalement conforme à ce que nous avions vu sur l annonce. Au calme, proche de la mer. Seule remarque, les prix dans la region sont quand même très élevés et pas sûr de bien comprendre pourquoi ? Le ligement de sharon etant quand même un des moins chers.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Marlena Kevin's Airbnb in Brighton, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved our stay at Ruth's place. Ruth made us feel very welcome and the house was exactly as described. It's hort walk to local bars and only 2 minutes to the beach. We'll be back for sure.

Lovely cottage. Was perfect with outside space for children to run around, high chair and cot. Alison had even left some toys in the property which our two enjoyed playing with. Great location short drive down to beaches.
