A beautiful family home, lots of space inside and a cute little garden. Nice to have a parking space. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely sunny house which completely matched our needs. The bedrooms and lounge in particular are very homely. The gardens front and back are really attractive and well-maintained. It was an 8 minute walk (up a hill but a pleasant walk) to the local co-op. The parking was great, and easy enough to find with the instructions. I'd advise arriving in daylight the first time. Just the one bathroom (plus extra downstairs loo) but this worked fine for us. Jen was extremely helpful, especially as I had to admit to breaking something, which is always embarrassing! Many thanks for a great stay.

Had a fantastic weekend at Abbie and Max's cosy house. The hosts live in the property when not renting it on Airbnb so the amenities and everything are great and it is very comfortable, it is "lived in" which didn't bother us in the slightest and it really felt like we were at home. The house is very close to a station with good links into the city centre. Communication with the hosts was excellent, they are very responsive and provided a lot of information before we arrived which was much appreciated. Added bonus of two lovely affectionate cats!

We really enjoyed our week at Michelle’s. It’s a lovely house in a great area, and we really felt at home there immediately. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Loads of space to hang clothes and store our various belongings. The garden was a fab space for our kids to burn off some energy. We had no issues parking right outside the house which was ideal with two small children in tow. The kitchen was a very social space, very well equipped with plenty of fridge and cupboard space. Just perfect for us! The area is great - within walking distance to loads of nice shops, bars, restaurants, parks and it felt very friendly and safe. Michelle was a brilliant host, communicative, flexible with check-in time and very kindly left loads of toys out for our children which provided hours of entertainment whilst at the house. We would absolutely recommend and hope to stay again! Thanks so much Michelle!

Very cosy and comfortable stay at Becky’s house. She was really friendly and welcoming. She left us some wine and chocolates to get us started and said help ourselves to tea and coffee. Becky also gave us directions to Blaise castle estate where we had a lovely walk with our little dog. The beds were super comfortable which is always great when are away from home. Thanks Becky we had a lovely stay.

We had a great weekend at Andrea’s house. Before our visit she was very responsive with any questions and provided advice for our stay in Bristol. We were a group of ladies staying in the city for a friend’s birthday. The house suited us perfectly, lots of space, great communal areas, comfy and roomy bedrooms. The house is tastefully decorated and contains everything you need and more for your stay. We came from the midlands and the location was great, just a short easy drive from the motorway. We went into Bristol during our stay in the bus which was regular and took around 30 minutes. We also walked it which was easy. There are lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants in easy walking distance! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nicci’s place is in a cool neighbourhood and within easy reach of the centre. The house is spacious, stylish and homely. The kitchen is well equipped and opens onto the garden. Beds are comfy. Great to have two bathrooms and two living areas. Nicci was quick to respond and very friendly.

We had a great stay. Ben was very responsive, and his home was ideally set up for young children. The location worked well for us visiting friends in the neighbourhood (plus cafes and the common on the doorstep), though we didn’t try going into central Bristol. We’d definitely stay again!

Jenny's place is absolutely beautiful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to others.

We enjoyed four nights in Bristol over New Year and loved the apartment. it was cosy, comfortable and showed an attention to detail. Rebecca had provided helpful information on local shops, pubs and restaurants, and we certainly enjoyed our ventures out into Clifton and Bristol. We would be very happy to return in future.

The flat is in an excellent position close to the heart of a stylish part of Bristol with parking just outside. It was also spacious for our family get-togethers over the Xmas period. The log fire was a plus! Liv & Jem are very welcoming & responsive to any needs, such as extra glasses etc. Much appreciated!

Had a very nice stay. Lies on a hilly street in Bristol not too far from the city centre and many shops and restaurants nearby. The house itself was cosy, yet modern and well equipped.

Such a perfect place for us to stay for a few nights We were both extremely comfortable and the location fantastic.

We had such a wonderful stay! The flat is in an ideal location and was as pictured and described. Just as others confirmed, the bedroom is away from the street and quiet. We so appreciated all the extra touches, including quality shampoo and conditioner, teas and coffee, and even fresh flowers. Johnie was responsive throughout the entire process. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Lovely flat - cosy and spacious and well equipped. Great location for exploring Clifton. Plentiful shops and eateries. The nearby Lido is worth a visit as of course is Clifton Suspension Bridge and visitor centre. The parking space was a bonus but you’ll need to find parking if taking a second vehicle as street parking is restricted. Karen was a friendly and communicative host. Lovely few days. Thank you 😊

We stayed at the villa for 4 days to celebrate my aunt's 80th birthday and it was just as perfect as in the photos. They house is extremely clean and well-stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need. Alasdair was very proactive, providing clear instructions and recommendations that were very helpful. You could tell that the house is laid out in a very thoughtful manner to make it as convenient as possible for the guests. One of the best airbnb stays we've had that exceeded our expectations in every way!!

Lovely house - was perfect for a medium-sized group (8 adults and a few under-5s). The views over the balconies are lovely and crucially the balconies are west / southwest facing, meaning we got lots of sunshine unlike the properties on the other side of the lake. It was end of Feb 2025 and we were happily walking around in t-shirts and making full use of the hot tub! Overall it's a lovely house with great sized bedroom, nice bathrooms with showers etc. We had a private chef cater dinner one evening and he had plenty of space (and we had more than enough space at the table for the adults). Jan kindly left us a bottle of wine too which we put to good use. Around the lake there are walks you can do, a spa (access to which is included as part of the stay) which worked great with the kids (who loved the main swimming pool), a playground, tennis courts etc. Overall would highly recommend.

I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

Our second stay at Jan's and we loved it. Four our group of 7 friends it is perfect: plenty of spaces to be together and enough room for people to have their own space if needed. Gardens and surroundings are beautiful, it's so peaceful. Hot tub and pool table are a bonus. We will be back!

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

Came for a weekend away with a group of mates, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, beautiful property, clean and very spacious. Also the private parking was amazing to have and got rid of the hassle of finding parking and having to pay for all the cars that we had for the weekend, overall everyone was very happy and would always recommend this Airbnb to anyone
