This location is right on the small Main Street wi th a few restaurants and stores, and it’s close driving distance to everywhere we go to visit family. The neighborhood is quiet, and the unit itself was beautiful, open and spacious. It was clean, with clear instructions on how to check in. In addition, the host was very responsive and checked in with us during our stay.

I stayed in Betty's home during a weekend trip to Portland, and it was a wonderful experience! I'd like to emphasize how comfortable the bed was... slept like a baby! The kitchen was stocked with condiments and coffee for cooking needs and the bathroom had a nice surprise - just turn a dial and a red light turns on and the room warms itself up to a very pleasant temperature. I'd highly recommend Betty's home to anybody looking for a comfy place in a convenient location!

Stayed here for a long weekend and it was great. One of the best AirBnBs we have been to. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Super clean and cozy, and a short stroll to everything Freeport has to offer. Jennifer and Jay were excellent hosts.

Everything was great! Roger was wicked responsive and had provided some print out recommendations which were super helpful and even museum passes! Place was located in a quiet back road about a 20 min walk to old port.

Great spot near Portland! We were in town for a quick weekend and loved have an easy and convenient spot that was also pet friendly so our dog could join us! Would definitely stay again.

Loved this spot! Phoebe and George's place was incredible, it's right in the center of Old Port Portland and walkable to so many restaurants, shops, and coffee shops. The apartment looks just like photos too! It had everything I needed for my few weeks up in Portland (things for cooking, linens, toiletries, etc). I worked remotely while I was there and the wifi was great- never had a issue with it. I highly recommend Phoebe and George's place for anyone wanting to stay in Portland! I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Portland!

We were remodeling our home and needed a place to stay for over a month and this place did not disappoint. The home is welcoming and super clean and neat. There were plenty of amenities for cooking and it was well stocked with paper products and a few toiletries as well as plenty of linens. It is so close to many great businesses and walkable to an excellent Gluten free bakery. The host was extremely kind and responsive to our needs- my son (7) said this home felt just like our own home. His favorite part was the “fancy fridge” that we could play music on and see different pictures according to the weather haha. Definitely a great place.

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

This house worked out great for us. Had everything we needed and as they said it was 5 minutes from the restaurants, museums and shops of downtown Rockland. In the other direction are the lighthouses and fishing villages of the midcoast. The unexpected bonus was the view. We could watch the sunrise over the bay from the living room, yard, or down the hill by the water. We could also see the Rockland breakwater light in the distance. As dog owners we appreciated having clean floors throughout the house instead of suspect carpets, and plenty of yard to take care of business.

Our family really enjoyed our stay and Tammie and Matthew's home. We were provided a warm, cozy environment to spend a winter weekend visiting Camden with three generations. The house was superbly clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and had all sorts of touches that made us feel very welcome. We had brought some Chris Van Dusen favorites and those were never even touched because of all the novel Chris Van Dusen books available to our kiddo. Easy stroll (.8mile) to downtown and much much closer to Reny's. We spent one day going all over because we were anticipating a foot of snow on our second day, when the said snowstorm hit, we cozied in the inviting living areas to do puzzles and play Go Fish. Tammie and Matthew were great communicators- would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My family and I stayed at Michael and Naomi's home in Falmouth and we had a blast! Their home is lovely and comfortably fit 4 adults and a toddler. We visited in August and had a couple of sticky days and were so happy that they had AC units throughout the home. This allowed our toddler to nap and us to relax in comfort. Their kitchen was well stocked with various coffees, creamers and all the cookware we needed to make our meals. The home was a short walk away from Mackworth Island and a quick 5m drive to Portland. It made getting around so easy! Michael and Naomi were very responsive and flexible with our arrangements and we would absolutely stay in the future! We loved it.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

We loved every minute of our stay! The place was fantastic, and the hospitality was exceptional. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Scott’s home is one of a kind. It is the perfect blend of Maine working class energy with sophisticated, upscale living… industrial AND comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Sameer’s place was INCREDIBLE! The condo is stunning and feels brand new. He provided such great recommendations and was proactive with everything we could’ve had a question for. You can’t beat the patio overlooking the water! I couldn’t recommend it more!

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway with a couple friends. We each had our own rooms, the beds were very comfortable, and linens were clean. We enjoyed our walk to/from downtown everyday (15 min walk) and found some great local cafes and bars. Note this unit is on the first floor and the unit above us had a toddler running all around from 6:30am-9am every morning. Would recommend bringing ear plugs if you plan to sleep during these hours.

Great place for a small group, good location and the neighborhood seems safe. Allyson was responsive, check in was easy, and everything was as described.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The train does go right behind the place at an intersection. The horn is very loud, which was hard for our toddler. Just something to consider if you’re traveling with infants/toddlers. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Steph’s place in Portland. The location is great and is near many restaurants and bars. Steph provided many recommendations on different spots within the city. We were within walking distance to everything in the Old Port area. The included parking spot is super convenient as well. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. The shower has super strong pressure and the hot water may not get super hot at times. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to stay again when we visit Portland.

Great location to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants, art district, theatre, etc in town. Cute and cozy condo in a building with beautiful original character. The list of recommendations was appreciated and helpful. Host was very responsive and friendly and flexible when possible. We enjoyed our stay here for our first visit to Portland!
