We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation was fantastic. We loved the hi spec kitchen for the only meal we cooked whilst there. It was a home from home. Only being a brisk 5 min walk from the promenade was a bonus. Near to restaurants and shops too.

It was beautiful extremely clean fantastic host well worth the Money would definitely stay there again and would recommend others to stay here.

This place is wonderful! beautifully clean, tidy, comfy beds and furniture and some nice touches like a big bag of popcorn in the cinema room! There was so much space for the whole family and the house caters for all age groups...and the dog! We had mostly great weather and so went to Goodrington Beach for the morning which was only 10 mins away, but could have spent the whole weekend in the house no problem, as it was so well equipped. Would highly recommend for a big family get-together...we will be returning!

Gary's is a fantastic host and his home is stunning, we have stayed here quite a few times and its been exceptional every time. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

An absolutely awesome place to stay at great value! As soon as the door was opened it could be seen that the place is well looked after to a high standard. Located in a very peaceful location, you can almost hear the silence - great if you want to get away from the city and have some time out from every day life. The juxtaposition of the house, the sea, the woods, brilliant walking routes, breathtaking views and more is something to behold. An easy drive into the bigger towns from the house and the dedicated parking space made life very easy! The corner shop is just a few doors down and was handy for those forgotten bits and pieces. Wil definitely be staying here again in the warmer months. Thank you Louise for hosting.

We had an amazing stay at Seven Ocean Reach, from the moment of booking Hazel was very responsive, the communication was excellent, clear check-in instructions with local recommendations, all the details we needed for a smooth experience. Seven ocean reach itself was exactly as described and beautifully kept for a rental property, clean, well-equipped, comfortable and free of clutter with the most perfect location and views. One thing we really appreciated was the abundance of useful information provided. Hazel has a comprehensive guidebook covering everything from WiFi details to the best nearby restaurants, takeaways and transportation options. Dog friendly with bowls, bags, lead, torch and dog tag with Hazels name and phone number. The location was perfect and peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. You certainly don’t tire of the views. Thank you Hazel and Sean, we will return!

Great stay at No.1 Beachdown. Everything we needed for a perfect stay and amazing views. Had a very relaxing week and so many great places to visit.

We had an amazing time in Kingswear at Sharon’s house. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and with spectacular views from the terrace. There are plenty of walking trails you can reach and at the same time it’s not as busy as the other side of the river. We loved it and hope to stay here again. Thanks Sharon!

This was our second time staying at the property and it was just as lovely as the first. The flat was just as described, beautifully decorated, clean and with everything you need. The view from the flat is gorgeous and it’s the perfect base for the surrounding area, close to Babbacombe and Torquay! Kate was a responsive and friendly host, making a great stay over all 😊

We had an amazing stay! Pauline was a lovely and responsive host, making sure everything was perfect for our visit. The location was fantastic, with stunning views that made our trip even more special. We really appreciated the early check-in, which made our arrival so much smoother. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

My two friends and I had an amazing relaxing weekend at Susan’s place. The space was immaculate when we arrived with all amenities we needed to cook all of our meals. The view from the garden is beautiful and it’s been so peaceful to wake up with a view of the sea. The beds are really comfortable as is the sofa bed. Susan was really helpful in her instructions and very prompt to respond if we needed clarification. All in all, a 5* experience, we hope to be back soon!

Enjoyed our stay very much, two excellent (but with different vibes) pubs a 5 minute walk away. Check food serving days though, Sunday to Tuesdays is limited (same applies over the water in Dartmouth). Easy and frequent passenger ferry and vehicle service to and from Dartmouth five minutes walk at bottom of road . Great vista from the apartment. Two excellent National Trust properties nearby, and lots of scenic walking. Plenty of exercise thanks to the gradients !

We had a lovely stay at Louise’s apartment ‘Little Merida’ with our dog Tilly. Louise messaged us before our stay to tell us the apartment would be available early although we weren’t able to take advantage of this. She came and introduced herself after our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. There was a fresh vase of flowers, some milk, coffee and some delicious local fudge on our arrival. The apartment looked exactly as in the photos, it was warm comfortable, clean, well look after and tastefully decorated. We ate in on two occasions and the apartment had everything we needed to prepare our meals. There are plenty of restaurants and bars locally and within easy walking distant. We had a great time at Little Merida. Thank you Louise

Another great holiday at Goodrington Lodge. We've stayed numerous times in different apartments here over the last 10 years or so and we still come back every year. The location is great for us and is very dog friendly. Our 2 Jack Russell's love it. Apartment 7 is ideal for us and the dogs and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Adam is a great host, very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We will be back again for certain!

I had a great stay at Alison's place. Literally in the middle of things, close to the harbour but felt peaceful and quiet tucked away. The flat has everything you could need and the touches of milk and a box of Chocs was a beautiful touch. Will definitely be back!

We had a very happy stay at the Garden Retreat. It is very comfortable and well presented. The terrace, with a wonderful view over the town, is an extra bonus. Just a short walk to the harbour, it is ideally situated for walks to the breakwater and Berry Head. Moira was an attentive host and was in regular contact. We would thoroughly recommend to stay in this lovely apartment.

The perfect place to stay for a few nights while I was on a course - much better than a hotel room. Close to train station and within walking distance of the town centre, supermarket and the river area. We used the drive for the car, but it might be a bit offputting for some. Very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. We felt very at-home, and the bedrooms worked well for three adults. Good comms from the owner.

My friends and I visited Helena’s place and it was just perfect! It was clean and she had a lovely hamper for us that we all enjoyed. The location was perfect and extremely walkable to the city. It rained for an entire afternoon on our stay but we chose to stay in and there were so many options of movies, games and books that kept us entertained. I would definitely come back :))

The flat was very spacious & beautifully designed. It had everything we needed & was very close to the sea. All the furniture was really comfortable and Karen was a brilliant host

The photos didn’t do not do it justice, the flat is beautifully decorated and had lots of amenities over and above the description. Fix was incredibly friendly and helpful. The flat is so close to everything we barely used our car.

This place was a really lovely cosy little bolthole, and surprisingly peaceful despite being in town. Really decent quality and lots of very thoughtful provisions in place such as real coffee and milk in fridge on arrival- plus lovely little treat / surprise laid out! Luke is a proactive, considerate and communicative host. I would definitely stay here again, and the beautiful park opposite was a real bonus and great for my senior dog as not too far for her to walk to lie in the sunshine. ☺️

We had a lovely long weekend (4 night) stay (family of 4) at the apartment. We chose this apartment as it's in a good location (great views, near to the town and the harbour (approx. 15 min walk with young children), and it looked well maintained, very clean, etc). The photos did it justice, and was as expected. Martin was there to greet us on arrival, and had laid out some beach toys for the children. There was milk, tea, coffee, and a bottle of Prosecco in the apartment, which was a nice touch. There were some printed out maps of local places (beaches etc.) to visit, in the apartment, which Martin talked us through. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!! If we stay in Torquay again, we would happily stay at this apartment again.
