Great place to stay in New Mills. Perfect location to enjoy the surrounding peaks. Lovely home from home feel. The garden looked lovely and we'll be coming back to enjoy it more in the summer.

Lovely little one bed cottage, well stocked kitchen in terms of equipment including huge fridge freezer, microwave, 4 slice toaster (love a four slice toaster!). Clean, tidy and spacious. The canal walks at the local locks are nice, further a field but still under 30 minutes you have Skipton Castle and also Ilkley which has a Betty’s Tearooms, you’ve not had a proper nice cake till you’ve had one from Bettys. On street parking is plentiful too.

Really lovely property, perfect for our family of 5. From the moment we arrived it felt really welcoming, the cottage had everything we needed for our stay and help us feel at home. The beds were really comfortable and a good size, and the sofa bed was made up for us as requested. Even better, the sofa bed was just off the main living area with a separate door so it felt like a private space. Our son reported that it was a bit less comfortable than the main beds but still ok. The only downside if anything was that the bathroom doors did not have locks which the teenagers were not so happy about! Despite being close to a train line there was very little noise and the kids loved that they could hear the cows in the background and see wild rabbits in the garden. We were quite easily able to get a taxi back from the White Hart where we ate one evening, but were glad we had done a supermarket shop before arriving as there are no facilities to be found close by. Fabulous place to stay!

Beautiful place in a peaceful private location. It was just what I was looking for. It was super clean and cosy when I arrived! Beautiful sunsets every night and lovely to sit outside and watch with the ponies! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cosy get away

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

We had a lovely weekend in Amber's cottage. The location was perfect with a short walk to the town and lots of nearby walks from the doorstep. The three double rooms were very comfortable and the cottage had everything you could need. Amber was quick to respond to a few questions and a great host. Sitting in the spring sunshine for breakfast in the garden with the birds and the sound of the church bells on our last day was perfect.

Our third Airbnb in as many weeks in Bollington and second with Nancy. Great accomodation suiting our needs between homes having moved out and still awaiting exchange on the new property. Nancy is very personable, helpful and responsive to questions/issues. Just what we needed from our host and highly recommended.

Wonderful cosy cabin, turn the chairs to the glass doors and take in the scenery. We watched a tawny owl catch his supper. A bubble bath under the stars is to be recommended. We turned up with breakfast stuff and realised there wasn’t a hob but no problem we picked up a disposable BBQ and hey presto! Sitting in bed with a coffee in the morning looking out was a real pleasure. We stayed for three nights and had a supply of ready cooked main meals, ate at the Star one night.
