Steve's was just like being at home. Steve himself was very responsive, friendly, proactive and even gave us hints on places to go to. I would definitely recommend such a host.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sally’s lovely Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, Sally was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The highlight of this property, however, has to be the tranquil, serene garden. It’s a beautifully maintained oasis of calm and relaxation. The garden is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with a friendly and accommodating host, this is the place for you. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This was our first time in Johannesburg and Anita helped it to be very special. She was a great hostess. Anytime we needed anything she had no problem assisting us. She gave us information about sightseeing in the area, restaurants, great farmer's markets and much more. My sister was visiting from Rome, Italy and Anita speaks Italian, so that was a special surprise for my sister. Anita also has a basketball hoop, which my 10 year old granddaughter loved, she also gave her games and drawing supplies. My granddaughter had a great time. We highly recommend Anita's beautiful cottage and great hospitality, and would surely book it again.

Very nice quite and comfortable flat

A very big shout out to Aniss and his entire crew for such an amazing and spotless place, all amenities mentioned were available and they even provided extra toiletries, extra towels, extra pillows, flat iron working well, a backup power back was provided in case of load shedding which I never experienced. All the kitchen ware you will ever needed was provided. Basically I would live comfortably and happily at Anis place for an entire year with no complains. I have a video for vivid videos on my TikTok (monicaslifejournal). 10/10

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

What can I say?! An incredible spot to spend a few peaceful days in the city. it felt like a home away from home the second we walked through the door. Our hosts were fantastic and made us and our pups feel welcome the entire time we were there. The pool was a delight, and the view over Sandton was glorious. I can't recommend Alex & Gideon, or their cottage, highly enough.

Charming neighborhood/place and helpful host.

We had a truly wonderful stay! My partner and I spent the weekend here to prepare for our wedding, and the space couldn’t have been more perfect. It was peaceful, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed. I did my hair and makeup there, and even took some lovely pre-wedding photos—it was such a special setting. The hosts went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for us both mornings, which we really appreciated. Thank you for making our weekend so memorable!

Sean’s property was amazing and exceeded our expectations! The check-in instructions, the directions to the property the landscaping, his decoration details were absolutely top-notch. Sean gave us beautiful dining recommendations that were home runs left and right. When he found out that we were headed to Durban after leaving his place, he once again gave us beautiful dining recommendations for Durban as well. Sean happened to check on us to see if we enjoyed Durban and when I told him we were in Cape Town then once again, he gave us more recommendations!!😉 The house has an open floor plan and I appreciate the time he took to decorate and layout his property. The patio in the backyard was also beautiful. This is in a gated community and is very walkable/runnable. If you’re visiting Joburg, do yourself a favor and book this property. Top tier host Sir! We’ll be back!

Such a thoughtfully organized home. Much thought has gone in to the added extras. So easy to stay, right down to reusable shopping bags for guests to use. I am couldn't have been more thoughtful and concerned about our comfort during unscheduled sudden load shedding. The place is central and surprisingly peaceful right in the middle of Sandton. Will definitely return.

The most comfortable bed we slept in during our South African stay! Quality appliances, comfortable furnishings. A great patio for outdoor eating and braaing, and a lovely garden for the kids to play in. The host was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will certainly stay here again on future trips.

Beautiful quaint little cottage will all the necessary supplies available.

The hosts are divine and the cottage is delightful with the wide open garden with roaming buck is really just gorgeous and peaceful. A total delight!! The dirt road drive from the main road is a bit hectic. We were in a small car and after the rain, had to drive extremely slowly to avoid the potholes and craters, so it added about 20 minutes to our travel time. Can highly recommend though, it was perfect for our overnight needs.

This is not a typical airbnb. Stephanie goes above and beyond and in the end is more of a friend than a "host." For me, this is a home away from home. You must love dogs if you are to enjoy staying here.

Our trip to South Africa has come to a wonderful end in the home of Anna-Sofé. The Greenodd Guest House was our base for exploring Pretoria, Johannesburg and Soweto. We have been looking forward to come home every day and enjoy the house, yard and pool. Anna-Sofé was a great hostess with lots of tips and nice conversations.

We had an absolute blast! The place was clean, cozy, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was super responsive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The value for the price was excellent, and we felt like we got so much more than what we paid for. Thanks for providing such a wonderful experience! We can't wait to come back.

This is a gem of a place that exceeded all my expectations. The area is very spacious and super clean, as well as tastefully decorated. The host was very responsive and welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to Pretoria.

An oasis in the city. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and with lovely characterful touches. We especially loved the beautiful gardens with magical paths, birds, eco pool and abundant greenery. Another highlight for us was the community dog park at the bottom of the property with lots of friendly dogs and more wildlife. Wendy, Maria and Jake were all super kind, helpful and friendly!

Spotless home. Beds super comfy. In the same road as Loftus so its perfect to walk home after watching a rugby game. Woolies food is 400m up the same road. We will definitely use Louw's place again.
