Broomhead Reservoir : locations de vacances

So glad we picked Bakewell for our visit to the Peak District, and even more so that we picked Pamela's property. Ideal location for exploring the town and surrounding area, 5 minute walk to restaurants at night. Spotless accommodation, quirky layout, which we liked! Thanks for the welcome pack, just what we needed when we arrived. We'll be back some day, thanks Pamela.

Location is absolutely fantastic for Bakewell access. Communication was excellent. Perfect weekend.

What can we say, what a little gem this place is. Walkable to town, about 25 mins or you can hop on the bus if you don't fancy the walk, Soozey left loads of helpful instructions in the folder inside the accommodation with Bus times etc. The place itself was so well equipped for a small space. It was cosy, clean and everything in it's place. The pull down bed was comfy, extra pillows provided too, the shower was great, everything was high quality. The burner was brilliant, l have never seen one like that before, we popped it on for an hour in the morning to take the chill out the air. Although we didn't used the hot chocolate tray, what a lovely touch that was. Even the reclining sofa was fab too. We would return again, if only the weather was nicer, we could see ourselves on the roof sinking some cold beers.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's cottage, we felt really welcome and at home. Ruth had lots of information about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc and was really responsive to messages. We stayed over Christmas and Ruth had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations which was a really lovely added touch. We had a fantastic break and would definitely stay again.

I had a great stay at the cottage. The house was as described – clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. Communication with Michael was excellent. They responded promptly to all messages and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. I would stay here again and recommend it those visiting the area.

Beautiful place in a peaceful private location. It was just what I was looking for. It was super clean and cosy when I arrived! Beautiful sunsets every night and lovely to sit outside and watch with the ponies! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cosy get away

Had a lovely two night stay in this charming tranquil cottage and my only regret is we didn't book it for longer. My wife and I have stayed in quite a few holiday cottages over the years and this was certainly one of the best - cosy, in a great location and had everything we needed. I would also add that it has probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! Would recommend to anyone looking for high quality accommodation in Castleton.
