Fantastic, quiet, well maintained home with a gorgeous sunset view. The beds were super comfortable and I loved the living room and kitchen areas as well.

I needed a place to stay while waiting for repairs to be done to my home. Constance's Place was exactly what I was looking for. To say it was peaceful is an understatement. You will see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife right off of her front porch swing! The decor was wonderful and I felt so at home while I was there for over 2 months. There are plenty of great walking trails on the property. The lake is beautiful and a great place to relax while sitting on the dock! Didn't get on one of the Kayaks, Canoe, or Jon Boat, but they were available. Constance was always very responsive and polite. She had fresh eggs waiting at the house and even fresh peppers right off of her plants outside! The fire pit is huge and enough wood so you will never run out. If you need a truly peaceful, old world, country experience then I highly recommend that you check out Constance's Place! Thank you Constance for everything and God Bless you and your family!

What a beautiful spot. Such a cozy, peaceful, and quiet home. The animals were so cute. Marsha is very accommodating, couldn’t recommend their home more!

Katherine, was a gracious host, her Log Cabin was very nice along with the surrounding. Inside was very clean and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. Everything was very clean, beds extremely comfortable, had some nice treats for us in the kitchen. Blackstone is a quaint little town , with a few restaurants, brewery, shops and a nice little bakery. Great place to get away and relax.

Great home for a peaceful getaway. The home was very comfortable and warm. It’s a great place if you have a dog. The yard between the lakefront and house provided great space to play and run

We stayed for our sons’ fishing tournament on Lake Gaston. Beautiful view from the house, yard and dock! We loved the privacy! We really enjoyed the fire pit/sitting area down by the water and fishing off the dock! It was still a bit chilly when we visited, otherwise we would have really enjoyed more activities on the water. Plenty of space to sleep for 7 (5 adults and 2 kids). Appreciated that we could bring our pup and the host was able to accommodate a very gracious late check-out. The only con: a little bit of TLC /maintenance would go a long way on the exterior of the house. Power washing the house and deck, cleaning out all windows/doors of very established spider webs, etc. That isn’t a breaking point for us, and would visit again!

totally wonderful - we booked last minute on a road trip and they were super responsive and friendly. space was immaculate, beautiful surroundings. we woke up to magical surroundings, horses and goats and beautiful trees, we will definitely try to stay here again if we come back that way.

I had such a good time at Jennifer’s place. It’s secluded and very private. It was big enough to fit my entire family. I will be back whenever I’m in that area!

We enjoyed our stay again this time. We had great weather to enjoy both the pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed walking along the long drive and relaxing on the porch. We did not have any interuptions during our stay so it was very private. No sounds of city life here. We can highly recommend Byrdie's Suite.
