We loved our “home in hobart”! We stayed in a big group, with 4 couples, and the place was fantastic. Really felt like home, with genuine million dollar views. We were able to comfortably walk into North Hobart, and it was a quick uber back from Salamanca on a night out. Highly recommend for a great place, well styled and local.

We had an amazing 2-day stay at this delightful wooden cottage on Bruny Island! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with towering trees and a peaceful bush setting—perfect for unwinding. We were thrilled to spot a few wallabies hopping around the neighborhood, including a rare white one—what a special treat! The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the comfy beds made for a great night’s sleep after our adventures. The outdoor garden was a highlight, offering the perfect spot for stargazing under the clear Tasmanian sky—truly magical. It’s just a short, scenic walk to Adventure Bay, where we enjoyed the beach and explored nearby trails.

Such a lovely and easy stay for my young family! Very considerate amenities provided (pram, high chair, toys, bath, change mat and more!) without being too ‘kiddy’! Lots of space in the home, plus walkable to town, coffee, parks and ducks. An easy drive into more regional towns (Dodges Ferry, Richmond etc) but still a short drive into the city of Hobart.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

Banksia Cottage is located in the most beautiful area. The cottage is absolutely perfect. It is spotlessly clean and everything that you could possibly need has been provided. We had fun giving the chicks and chickens our old bread. You feel immediately relaxed at Banksia Cottage. We will definitely be back but to stay longer.

Fabulous views and 70’s style charm! Gorgeous location near the water, rolling mountains and everything you need inside the house, a home away from home. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating! Wish I booked an extra night.. I would go back again..

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at Lucy's house. It was immaculately clean, spacious and well appointed. The location was stunning and we enjoyed walking around the foreshore, the abundance of bird life and the serenity. There were many thoughtful touches in the house, and we especially appreciated relaxing in the generous bath-with-a-view.

The house and grounds were beautiful. Great views, tranquil setting, well-appointed and a comfortable house. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Just a beautiful stay, in a peaceful spot in the Tassie south. We came down for a weekend visit from Hobart and loved every second of the stay. Within easy reach of Cygnet, Verona Sands, and peppered in farm visits in the country. Peaceful setting in a sweet, little house and comfortable amenities and bed. We spent our days popping around the area and our evenings enjoying the cabin and the surroundings. Could not recommend this spot enough.

Lovely home, close to The Agrarian, right in the centre of town. Kitchen was great for a cook, and there were thoughtful additions in the kitchen for breakfast and ease.

Extremely comfortable place. Felt like home. Very clean and well equipped with all commodities particularly for a family with kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and felt fortunate having found this place. If we come back ever, will definitely stay here again.. Highly recommended!!

The host and her lovely family are very friendly and easy . Sandy bay main park / ocean views are only 5 min walk - posh and nice area

Lovely garden studio apartment. It is within walking distance of good restaurants and grocery store. We loved the Hill Street grocery just up the road. Angela is a splendid host. She was very welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this lovely studio.

Our favourite stay on our Aus road trip. Anne's place is such a unique hide away in Hobart. It comes with all the facilities you need and is really clean. Would 100% recommend and hope we can return in the future! Thanks Anne! :-)

Cascade Cottage is quiet, peaceful and had all amenities for our family. We felt right at home and were very comfortable for our week. The house has plenty of heating and beds are comfy. The area is very quiet and even though the cascade female factory is across the road the main access is on the other side of the factory so it’s not busy house side. Pademelons live in the street and come out at night time to kids delight. The Cascade hotel pub up on the main road has amazing meals and The Cascade Brewery cafe has great food also. The house is only a 7-12 min drive from centre of Hobart CBD. You can park at Arglye St car park in the CBD for $4per hour and you can walk anywhere in the city. Tip: visit port Arthur first then ask for a Ticket of Leave at their ticket counter as you exit and its costs you $20 extra on top of your Port Arthur entry but gives you unlimited entry to Cascade Female Factory and back into Port Arthur of 2 years. Saves around $15 per person on CFF entry.
