Nice roomy static caravan, with a grand view of the 14th hole of the golf course and a very short walk to Nairn's east beach. Facilities were great - comfy bed, good shower, full-sized cooker plus microwave, big fridge-freezer, washing machine and even a dishwasher (I didn't use that, just assume it works). The sitting-room furniture has seen better days, but was supremely comfortable. Nice big deck. One tiny niggle is that the wifi isn't free, but I just used my phone data instead. Communication was excellent. Overall, highly recommended.

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

This was our third visit to the cottage and we returned mostly because our autistic son loves it but also because it’s just lovely. Spotless doesn’t cover it, everything was pristine and it always smells lovely. The shower is fab, I could’ve stayed in it for days. Access to the swimming pool every day you’re there is great, an hour to yourselves in a warm pool. But what makes this place even more special is the staff. We broke down on our way and Edward offered to collect us and because we were being collected, we were offered a 12pm check out. Going the extra mile for guests is not what you see all the time and it helped us immensely. The host and staff are genuine, lovely people. Our son loved it again and we will definitely be back again. Maybe on the bus this time but we’ll be there 😂

When you have been on a long journey you want to feel at home when you arrive somewhere and this is exactly what I felt when I arrived at this cosy cottage. I felt so relaxed that I went straight out for a walk with my dog. The living room was so cosy and warm and the bathroom was private and very smart too. It was a quiet stress free evening. The kitchen had everything you needed. I love the special addition of the swimming pool and the lovely walks on the estate. I will be back ! Thank you very much. Matilda and brown dog

Lovely homely cottage with everything we needed. Dog friendly but couldn’t tell dogs have stayed previously. Great open fire and the best shower we’ve ever used!

Had an excellent April stay with a group of 4! Bryce was very responsive and accommodating to special requests (such as a feather free room). We arrived late in the evening and felt right at home with a spacious kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful views! We were sad to leave but highly recommend for anyone traveling thru Scotland who want to enjoy the Cairngorms!

Had a lovely stay at the house, it provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The location was great and within walking distance of all amenities. we needed. We would definitely return.

Sheila is an excellent hostess with a strong attention to details and clear communication. The booking was incredibly easy and informative with information on local areas to visit.

The Nissen hut is a perfect place to unwind and relax. There is lots to see and do, and we came across lots of hidden places that we didn’t even know existed. Highly recommend going to Tarbat point, and to Shandwick beach. Charlotte has created a little gem of a place for a getaway at the Nissen hut. Very comfortable with the log fire burning to create a warm atmosphere. Brilliant to find a place that didn’t have a TV, as this creates a great place to sit and play scrabble, read a book, or listen to the radio and switch off. The hut has great wi-fi so not totally cut-off. I will recommend the Nissen hut to other people I know as they should experience a stay there.

Gillian's place is Carrbridge was a great place for my family to relax together for a few days. The house is very cosy, clean and well equipped for self catering. We loved walking and cycling in the woods with the nephews, watching the birds from the kitchen table and cosying in by the fire in the evening. Lots of books and maps in the house for planning your next walk or adventure. We had a great time! Everything about checking in and communicating was straightforward - thank you Gillian!

Excellant accommodation, everything you require for a pleasant stay, clean and comfortable, highly recommend it, will use again when I am in the area. This place ticks all the boxes.

We had a fantastic stay in Viewfield Gardens. Colin’s house is extremely well equipped, 2 receptions rooms, plus conservatory and a spacious kitchen diner! The bathroom was fab with a great shower! The house was spotlessly clean. It was a relaxing and welcoming place to come home to having explored the delights of Aberdeen. There is also a very pretty park within a minute’s walk! Communication with Colin was great! Lots of info before arrival - Thank you!

This was one of our favourite stays on our trip. So much charm in this historic house with all the renovations that made this house a perfect and comfortable stay for our group of 8. Private but walking distance into town and shops, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Perfect place to holiday, being able to easily walk to the beach and town. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable, and suited our needs. We flew into Inverness Airport and hired a car for this trip, 15 mins away! Easy access to Inverness and surrounding places of interest, a great location to explore the area.

A great property, in a great location. Good combination of being near amenities in the village, but right near the seafront, hills etc. Clear instructions and provisions left for our arrival. Nice to have the stove in the back room with logs provided - makes for a nice cosy setting for an autumn / winter visit. Place had lots of history and character to it. Will look to use again next time we are visiting family in this area.

8 of us golfing women stayed at Andrew's place for 3 nights. Everyone enjoyed the size of the house and all the facilities on offer. The welcome Prosecco and biscuits were appreciated. Andrew has catered for all needs and had plenty of condiments and refreshments to satisfy our needs. There is an honesty bar which we didn't actually use but it was comforting to know we had gin and whisky available if we ran out. Although the house sleeps 10 we found it very comfortable with just 8. There were bikes and games if we needed them. All in all it's the perfect place for a golfing break as the Royal Dornoch courses are nearby and Tain a short drive away which we also played. We loved the house and can't wait to return. The beds were super comfy too!
