A delightful cottage in a unspoilt and beautiful village with great walks on one’s doorstep and next to excellent public house

we had a great stay , Jenny and Peter were friendly and amazing hosts and their dog esta was a pleasure to be around the only problems were some of the pots were stained and I believe a blind would be a good addition to the glass window/door that leads to the garden , however the place was beautiful and the scenery was nice , would definitely go back. 😁

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

This was our fifth time returning to Fulwell in recent years as a group - always a wonderful stay with a fantastic host. Highly recommend!

Lovely extremely well kitted out house with three large bedrooms and abundant living areas. Perfect for our group of five and for our daily treks into Oxford. Very convenient for 400 bus straight into Oxford city. Easy access, parking for 2 cars friendly host and some surprise goodies on arrival.

We have just come home from a beautiful stay. Can honestly say the pictures do not do this place justice! It’s absolutely stunning, private, peaceful & the finishing touches were amazing. Really makes it feel homely. The hosts communication was excellent, but not intrusive & nothing seemed to be too much trouble if we did have any queries. They even provided a high chair when requested, despite it not being on the advert. I have family nearby so will definitely be returning to this beautiful gem! 💎 Thank you to the hosts, for a wonderful stay!

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

I was blown away by Vale Cottage. It was absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped. The pool and hot tub were brilliant and also so incredibly clean and well cared for! Bridget was really helpful and responded to all messages straight away. Our dog loved the enclosed paddock and the heated floor in the cottage. It couldn't have been a better base for us. We'll definitely be back if we're staying in the area again.

The stay at the pool house was fantastic. Sarah was a lovely host, and was really accomodating with our check in and check out times as well. The pool house itself was lovely - very peaceful and quiet. It’s fully enclosed with was great for us, we could have a swim and let our dog roam around knowing he couldn’t run off. We’re already thinking of a trip back in the summertime :)

The rectory was so beautiful My grandsons love it there are 12 They were children just playing & enjoying the pool,not forgetting hide & seek in the house. But what stood out to me aside of the gorgeous house was the staff specifically Ben & Ethen both very young & so knowledgeable on the history of the whole of Hartwell,so refreshing to see young people so passionate. I would love to come & stay again it was just delightful.Thankyou Hartwell team you were all so amazing.

I had a wonderful stay at Suzanne's charming cottage! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The cottage is beautifully decorated, cozy, and spotlessly clean. Suzanne thought of every detail to make the space comfortable, and her hospitality was exceptional. She was always available to answer any questions and provided great local recommendations. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying at Suzanne's cottage and look forward to returning in the future!

A beautiful and idyllic country cottage. The interior was spacious, immaculately clean, and very well appointed. Olivia was friendly, responsive and welcoming. We felt warm and homey around a burning fire every night. The surrounding beauty and quiet was a long needed respite from city life—the perfect ending to our England trip.

What a little gem! My wife chose this place for us to stay for a couple of nights. I just wish it had of been for longer, to help me relax even more from the stresses of work. It’s got everything you need, to just chill and unwind, but if you want to go places also, these are not too far either. Attention to detail is something we both look for when staying somewhere & this place has got it! Hats off to Jean, she’s got it just right, so thank you & hope to be back again one day! 👍

Had a great short stay, Louise was a lovely host and was very helpful especially with our dog and our travel arrangements after the bus didn’t turn up. She really went out of her way to make our visit special. Location is perfect for Marlow where we were visiting and the space was cozy and modern.

Nice and cosy Apartment. Wonderful area to walk (with dogs).

Well located for London and local attractions e.g. Windsor, Beaconscott model village. Set in quiet countryside. The Studio is an ideal base, pristine interior and very comfortable. This is our base of choice for our frequent visit to Herts/Bucks borders.

We had a lovely stay. Colin & Lian were great hosts. The EcoPod was excellent (we liked it so much we’ve bought a smaller one for our garden), opening out into a large garden which backed onto open countryside. Our dog very much enjoyed playing with Gigi. Highly recommended.

Ellen was a phenomenal host. Responded quickly to our questions.
