Coup de cœur pour ce grand logement, cosy, décoration à la fois traditionnelle et moderne, un lit bébé au top, un logement super pour rayonner dans snaefelsness à mi chemin entre Stykkishólmur et Grundafjordur. Notre fils a adoré donner à manger aux beaux moutons avec Gudlaug. Nous recommandons aux familles (équipement adaptés, jouets, tout y est !).

Wonderful 2 day stay! Very comfortable space, with great beds and incredible views. We were very lucky and saw the Northern Lights both nights. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Das Haus von Heidrun war sehr schön ausgestattet und ordentlich, sauber. Das Haus liegt im kleinen Waldgebiet. Der Pool ist überdacht. Einen freien Blick findet man aber auch vor dem Haus. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

The cottage was a beautiful place surrounded by stunning natural scenery, exactly as described by the host. The room was clean, and we loved being able to enjoy the amazing view all day through the large glass windows. It was great that a grill was available, though unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use it as we hadn’t bought groceries. A highly recommended place to stay!

Checkin was a breeze and Alfa was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. Truly a beautiful home with everything you need, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Views from the home are absolutely stunning and the interior is very warm and welcoming. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would absolutely love to visit again.

Such amazing views in this super cozy cabin! We felt right at home, and was a great location near Borgarnes. Super easy to hop on the road and go sight-see, then come back to a nice warm home after.

We had a great time at the cabin! Actually, one of the highlights was our host Ylfa, who was always very helpful, provided a lot of very detailed information up front and reacted very quickly to all remaining questions we had - the communication was really a pleasure to us and on a level I have not experienced on Airbnb before. About the cabin: Our kids (3 and 6 years old) very much liked what they referred to as "the play cave", which is the upstairs sleeping loft. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary things needed, far exceeding what would be minimal kitchen setup. Another highlight to us was the hot tub, which we used almost every day (despite wind and a bit of rain outside). The open view towards the west is very suitable to search for Northern Lights in the dark or just watch the stars. We mainly used the cabin as our homebase to different day tours around in western Iceland. In total, we really had a great time!

Cozy little unit right on the waterfront. Perfect for my last night in Iceland. Kitchen was for light meal only but you shouldn’t be cooking in this place anyway. The unit was bright and airy with big windows looking out to the sea, great for aurora observation. The host was very friendly and kind, made us feel welcome after a rough couple days being stuck in snow storm in the northeast. What a Great Stay.
