Spent 4 wonderful days with our multi generational family with ages ranging from 18 mths -90! to celebrate my father’s 90th birthday. The house was perfect in every way, providing en-suite bedrooms and a luxurious main bathroom. The children (18mths-7 years old) especially loved the unique cinema room and the games room. But as we were lucky enough to have incredible weather we all spent a lot of time in the enclosed gardens where we enjoyed the bbq and the pizza oven. The nearby beaches are stunning and we did a treasure hunt on Blackpool Sands for the kids. All in all, a fantastic house with breathtaking views of the coast. Would love to go back!!

Perfect home in a wonderful location. Everything we needed for our stay was provided, and the house was spotless. Never turned the tele on once during daylight hours, the view from the conservatory - especially on the stormy day - was captivating enough. Can't recommend this property too highly, it is quite simply stunning.

The house was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It was extremely well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The beautiful beach was within easy walking distance and there were lots of local pubs and takeaways.

Stayed at the house for New Year with our family of 4 children aged between 4 and 15.. Perfect location, within walking distance to sea front and all local amenities. The house had everything we needed and catered for all ages! Stuart was very helpful from the moment we booked and was able to recommend things to do for New Year’s Eve! Thank you for a lovely stay!

A gem of an escape, the most beautiful, peaceful location. Stunning pebble beach, gorgeous scenery, excellent walking routes on the coastal path to Seatown, Golden Cap, West Bay and beyond. No light pollution so stargazing on a clear night was perfect. The Ark is immaculately clean with a modern, comfortable interior containing everything you could wish for during your stay. Lovely outside decking area with picnic table together with sun loungers and deckchairs which was well used by us as we were blessed with warm, sunny weather. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending to friends (even though I’d really like to keep it a secret!).

We had a fabulous few days here over the New Year, and would definitely love to return! The perfect spot for some fresh sea air and lovely walks, and a super comfy and cosy house, we loved it, thank you!!

We had a lovely time in Beer. The caravan was clean, tidy and comfortable and the views were amazing. Sarah, the host, was responsive and friendly.

I chose the property to celebrate a birthday and I made the right choice! Klaudia was such a welcoming host and was really helpful and responsive. A cosy, homey place situated in the middle of Dawlish town - the brook with the black swans was literally at our doorstep! It is perfect for those looking to explore the local neighbourhood and the beach. I mainly chose the property for its charming wabi-sabi interior. It also comes with a little interior guide for those who wanted to know where the decor came from (which I really appreciated!). We had the loveliest brunch at Le Cygne (also a coffeeshop), the Dawlish Farm Shop (very impressive produce!), and brought home cute little finds from the local charity shop. We also really enjoyed our time perusing through the secondhand bookshop and getting cosy at Home Kitchen reading and drinking tea. We would definitely visit again, probably sometime when it is warmer so we can enjoy the beach properly :)

Clean, cosy and comfortable and still feels new. Good shower and comfy beds (although my 5’6 son said the single bed was a bit short and narrow for him - the only issue as everything else was perfect). The holiday park is quiet and well maintained, we enjoyed the heated pool and dog walking area around the fishing lake. The pygmy goats are so cute!

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

We had a really lovely time in this beautiful home. The pools (swimming and table!) were a real hit with all of us. The little ones loved running in the garden and playing football as well as swimming. We had a very relaxing time celebrating a big event.

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was larger and more beautiful than I expected - much better than the lovely pictures. Really thoughtful amenities and touches. The staff at the hotel could not have been more welcoming or accommodating and similarly with all communication via Airbnb. The food at the Cary Arms Hotel was excellent and a stones throw from the house. Beautiful beach, breathtaking views, lovely home and a short walk from local restaurants and shops. We wished we had booked for longer. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Our third stay at Maria’s house and it was as perfect as before. Maria is a very responsive host. The house has everything you need and is immaculately clean inside. It’s the perfect location and you can reach many places without getting the car out if you don’t want to!

We live locally but needed a place to stay whilst having renovations done. Leanne was really helpful and supportive and the caravan was perfect for our stay. We felt like we were on holiday! Lovely little holiday park and I'm sure this would be a great stay for anyone looking for holiday.

Such an amazing property in a great, central location. The house was very clean and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Julie was a great host with good communication.

Chris Alpine house in torquay was perfect for a lovely weekend getaway with my parents, partner, and our little dog. Close to all the major amenities and attractions and with bigger supermarkets a short drive away. perfect for wlearly morning walks into Goodrington or towards Torquay, or for a trip on the steam railway to Kingswear and Dartmouth. thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Caroline was an excellent host; she was always very communicative and we appreciated a personal visit from her when we arrived. She had also given us some homemade goodies - the granola was particularly good! We were staying during a cold snap so we discovered that the cottage was indeed very warm, with good central heating and a cosy woodburner. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with an eye to sustainability and other items in the cottage, such as bed linens, were high quality. It was unfortunate that the private beach was inaccessible as this had initially drawn us to Rousdon. The coastal path, challenging in places due to mud and rain, offered an opportunity for an invigorating and interesting walk to Lyme. Make sure you book a taxi in advance for the return to Rousdon as buses are not always available. River Cottage was also a short drive away in a lovely location and of course provided great lunches.

We had a fantastic stay here. The accommodation has so much space, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, with wonderful views of the sea/Burgh Island through large doors/windows and just a 2 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. Fun to watch the tide and even more fun walking across to the Pilchard Inn and returning on the sea tractor! Five of us stayed and we all had our own bathrooms. Nice touches, coffee machine, and tumble dryer use if necessary. Very well stocked kitchen of crockery, cutlery, etc. Nice space for parking in the front driveway and a lovely garden for doggies - we took two and they had a fabulous holiday also! The hot tub was an additional cost but well worth it as it was great to hop in at the end of the day. Everything you would expect from a luxury listing and we were not disappointed. Would love to visit again.

The house is lovely. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of towels supplied. Very quiet area. Would be even better in the summer. Only downside is not having dedicated parking but we found a spot just down the road.

I would highly recommend this property for larger groups. Great location, clean, spacious and modern. Communication was almost instantaneous and check in was via a box on site, so very easy! Car parking for at least 2 cars with on street parking for other within a minute or so walk, and having the Tesco nearby was convenient for fuel and anything else we needed during our stay. Would easily stay here again!

Would highly recommend. Such a lovely house. Very modern, spotless, and had everything you can think of that you may need! Lots of lovely touches like the coffee machine, games, popcorn machine & hot tub! The kids absolutely loved it, lots of space & the rooms were so lovely. Really comfortable beds & lovely clean bedding, we all slept so well. Really nice area, good location. Will definitely be booking again! Susie was so helpful throughout, and we can’t thank her enough. We all absolutely loved our weekend away.

Extremely warm welcome from the lovely hosts to their beautiful and immaculately kept home with loving attention to every detail. Though we went over New Year with miserable/stormy weather the Boathouse was cosy and the sheltered wood burning hot tub was a must, perfect in all weathers. Drinking coffee early morning by the river’s edge was serene. Would highly recommend for a getaway.

What a lovely place to stay! The house is really nice and is in a perfect location for being able to go down to the restaurants on the Marina, and it’s very handy to have your own car parking. Inside the house, there was everything you needed, with comfy beds and plenty of towels. Really responsive hosts who were really accommodating when I asked for an early check in. Overall we had a great weekend and loved exploring Torquay
