First, take a photo of the key code and text to your group. I did not and left my phone in the house. So, yes, I locked us out. Everything was on my phone. My friend sent a message through AirBnB to Wendy explaining what happened. She called her right away and got us back in the house. Phew! The house is a 10-minute walk to downtown Salida, which is so cute. Full of shops, places to each, art galleries, stores for kids, an arcade, etc. One can walk to the grocery too. The house had everything we needed. It is nicely maintained, quiet and comfortable. Our only issue was the one bathroom. We managed with it. If you have a teen who takes forever anytime they in the bathroom, this could be a problem. Plenty of hot water for several showers in a row and lots of towels. Really like having the washer/dryer access even a drying rack. I would stay here again!

This is a great place walking distance from Leadville! Very good also for people that like to save money by cooking some meals as the house rather than go out for everything!

Karen and her home are amazing. We had a rough travel day and Karen responded quickly to welcome us and help us find much needed resources. The house is adorable, cozy, and had everything we needed. We felt very at home and i know that our trip went as well as it did because of Karens hospitality and beautiful home.

Great place, great location, feels miles away but so close to breck. Of note - there is one full bath (two sinks) shared between master and kid room. Half bath off kitchen.

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood near Main Street. Eric was very responsive and accommodating, and the home was clean and nicely furnished. It was very cold in BV the day we checked in and took a while to warm up, but was cozy and the gas stove created a nice ambiance.

We had a great stay! We'd love to come back sometime when we can enjoy the patio.

Beautiful house and location with an easy 15 minutes drive to downtown Breckenridge and skiing. House was clean and comfortable with great views, but definitely need 4WD to make it up the driveway in winter weather!

I had to book this place very last minute due to a different airbnb not working out, and it was so great! Very nice space and easy check in.

Lovely quiet spot. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I went in the mornings to the hot springs, cottonwood is only 15 min away. Pretty large for a studio. It is attached to their house, but I didn’t hear any noise. It was nice to feel the river nearby even though it was very cold outside so I didn’t really go down. Thanks for hosting, I would definitely come back.

An absolute gem right in the heart of Salida! A new favorite for us - can’t wait to return. Very cool and comfortable.

Everything was great. And the host was responsive and helpful at every stage of the process. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would book again for a future visit. Clean, friendly and welcoming in all ways.

I don't think there is a better spot to stay in Salida. 1 minute to run/bike trails, 2 minutes to restaurants, walk to grocery store and swim in the river right in your backyard. Place was immaculate and everything worked perfectly.

Good stay overall; only thing I want to mention is that the walls are indeed very thin, but this is stated in the listing so not the owners fault at all. Thank you!

Great location! Right in the middle of downtown. Small walk to the river, restaurants, etc. Gina's place was clean, and has a lot of character. There are many blankets and amenities for your comfort, however, it is a shared common area and noise travels. we recommend bringing ear plugs just in case. We loved staying here and would love to come back again!

The place has everything you need for a nice time in Buena Vista. The kitchen is well equipped, laundry and drier and spot clean place . Super close to the Main Street with great local shops and eat places. Totally recommend it!!! Looking forward to come back.

We LOVED this condo! Close to everything you need, with great shops and restaurants just feet from the door. The place itself was very well stocked, games for kiddos, and made us feel right at home!

Mark's place was perfect for a quick overnight in the mountains! His instructions were very thorough and the condo was conveniently located in downtown Fairplay. Our drive in from Breck the night before and the drive out to Keystone were easy and much better than fighting the I70 traffic up from Denver at 5am! I would definitely book here again.
