The only way I think of describing the Dunes is an experience. And an amazing one at that. The tranquility, unspoiled nature, and slowed down pace is just what the soul needs when coming from nature The Dunes embody the epitome of Begha. Off the grid, simple, easy, quietness. The place is private even though attached to the house. The kitchen has all you need to get by and to do. A bedroom with bathroom attached has all you need to get by. This isn't a place you want to party or play loud music at. This is a place to relax and enjoy the simple life and enjoy unspoiled nature. You have amazing views of the unspoiled beach and it's like 1 km drive to the beach and river. Definitely recommend

I had a wonderful stay at Abongile’s place in Gonubie! The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made for a relaxing getaway. Abongile was a great host, ensuring everything was smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Selah. The apartment is stylishly decorated and the view is just breathtaking! It is very secure being in a resort and we could walk to the beach. It was an anniversary getaway and we were welcomed with a lovely card and bottle of champagne, a special touch. Melanie and Joe were great hosts and we can highly recommend staying here.

Another wonderful stay at Ernie’s place! This cozy flat in the heart of the village truly felt like a home away from home for our family of four. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful coastal surroundings and the flat itself is always spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. Ernie is a fantastic host; friendly, attentive and thoughtful. We look forward to returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is within walking distance a beach. Restaurants and shops close by too. It was a very peaceful area home which can't recommend highly enough and we generously well catered for by David his family.

The house was amazing matched the advert. The yard was specious and very accommodative. The area is close to many entities and very peaceful. The house had everything we needed. I would definitely visit again.

Veronica was an amazing host. I think she's just genuinely a good person so thst made her hosting even easier. She was patient, understanding and just kind. I was traveling from Joburg for my wedding and there's family that arrived the morning we checked out who needed a place to freshen up, and she was so understanding- and she didnt need to but she did. The place far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are huge! With great private space. The home was warm- it really felt like a home away from home. There is more tham 1 entertainment space and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, literally 5 minutes away from the beach. I wish I could have stayed longer there but this will definitely be the first place I think of next time I plan a trip to EL. Thank you Veronica, wishing you all the best. You are amazing and honest. I left my wedding ring there and you made sure I get it. There's so much more I could say, but just know that my "thank you" carries much more than those 2 words.

incredible gem of a house in a beautiful unspoilt part of south Africa. you have everything you need: only thing that detracted from perfection was losing water pressure during load electricity load shedding.

Great stay. The place is very clean and great value for money. The host Sibo very friendly, reachable at all times and always there to assist in everyway possible. Mamtshawe, the cleaner very friendly and willing to assist as well. My family enjoyed and we all felt at home away from home 🏡. Its ourhome again should we decide to do East London again.

We arrived quite a bit earlier than check in time, but were able to check in and drop our things before heading off to the beach. Absolutely beautiful view, sea on the 1 side, little mini waterfall on the other. Very peaceful and tranquil!

Such a beautiful, neat and cosy villa. My family and I had such a wonderful stay here. It’s 2 minute (safe) walk to the beach and close to such an amazing restaurant with the best freshly baked breads.
