Great location! NASA-level massage chair, lovely lakeside hot tub and a sauna with glass wall so you can enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Host was great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had an “emergency” booking at the last minute and asked if it was possible to get access early. The hosts responded so quickly and were so accommodating to our request. The place was great with a nice “hangout” area and huge bedrooms. It’s a beautiful view and the hot tub is nice and warm and close to the house. Easy to find and nice and close to the cities but far enough to feel like a vacation!

We had an excellent stay! The home was even better than described and so peaceful. We are already talking about when we can return!

If you like an intimate place at a lake with a hot tub... this is it! :)

We couldn’t love Brent’s place and will be back. We had five kids under the age of 5 and it was so well set up with coloring, kitchen items, kid spaces, toys, highchair we couldn’t believe it! Even things to make homemade popcorn with a whirled pop! We made it two nights. The couch and lounging for the adults was great! Hoping to be back soon for a girls trip or another family vacay!

Warren was attentive and helpful. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. Very happy dogs were allowed without massive fees like many other places. Rustic is a good description as it has some updates but definitely in the older side but still very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this beautiful, spacious lake house with family. A serene, peaceful setting. I would highly recommend this house. It is perfect for a family getaway or a multigenerational trip. We rented it so our family could attend a graduation. With hotel space limited in Northfield, this house is a great place for families visiting Carleton or St. Olaf. It is a shorter drive than staying in the cities and you get to experience the beauty of more rural Minnesota. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Also great space to gather together. The house has awesome amenities. It has huge kitchen that is well equipped. There are multiple dining tables. Our favorite was in the sun porch. There is a game room and two sitting rooms all with TVs. There is an outdoor patio with table and grills. The pool is stunning. We relaxed by the pool overlooking the lake. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. Stay here and enjoy all that lake life has to offer.

We had an excellent time! Being right on the water is such a treat, even in winter. The hot tub and comfy beds were definitely highlights!

Beautiful view, very clean and comfortable house, quick communication! It was a perfect place to spend quality time with our granddaughter. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Great location

Peaceful & serene. Lots of space to explore. Lots of extras in the shed. We enjoyed the volleyball court & having bonfires in the evenings. Cabin is comfortable & lots of extra blankets & other things (fans etc) to add comfort. I will say I don’t think the lake is a “swimable” lake and the slide was in disrepair. That aside- we’d still return.

Beautiful little cottage, perfect for our family of three! Great fishing and less than an hour from the Twin Cities. The cabin was clean and the host was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Cabin was perfect for our winter/spring trip, it snowed while we were there and the owner had someone shovel the walkway and plow the driveway, excellent service & adorable place!

It was a great place all around. My daughter got married in the area & we used the house as a pre wedding area. Beautiful location & big enough to house all the girls! Definitely would be a great place for a family gathering!

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering in a beautiful historic home with lake view and comfort. We’re already thinking about this as a location for summer so we can enjoy the other amenities (fire pit, bikes, kayaks…). Great place. Wonderful hosts.

great place for a nice getaway

This was one of the most charming B&Bs we’ve stayed at. And so peaceful, situated on a point, no traffic, and we were greeted by loons just off the shore every morning. Also saw trumpet swans and cranes. Very comfortable accommodations, and an awesome sauna. We’ll be back!

This place was a lovely retreat from regular life. The house was comfortable and pleasantly decorated, and the setting was beautiful. Sitting on the dock watching the sun rise over the lake with a cup of coffee got my days off to a great start. There were several excellent options for private work space, and a TV in every bedroom (with a bonus TV in the main living space). The kitchen was comfortable, and the recreational equipment was all in good working order. It was chilly while we were there in early October, but we were able to use the provided kayaks and enjoyed ourselves on a sunny afternoon. 10 of 10, would recommend and stay again!

Perfect cabin for a couples getaway. There is a beautiful view of the lake and the cabin was recently remodeled, so everything feels brand new. It was spotless. Close to the cute town of Annandale with a brewery, little shops, and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to return, thanks for having us!
