Ruth's place is lovely - very quiet and wonderful for a weekend stay. Dog friendly and very welcoming. We used the what 3 words navigation which took us directly to the property. Ruth was very responsive and communication was positive. Ellesmere is a short drive away - big Tesco and several takeaway options - we can recommend 'Thai Mere'. Visited Shrewsbury and Oswestry during our stay and had a lovely walk around the river in Ellesmere by the Boathouse and an ice cream along the way. A wonderful weekend stay - very comfortable and warm (underfloor heating). Couldn't have wished for anything more!

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

Doreen and Peter were lovely hosts. The tiny home was well equipped and clean but very tiny! The hot tub was kept clean and hot throughout our stay and the outside area was beautiful. We also went for a walk recommend by our hosts which was a great way to see the lovely landscapes. There was also a games room which we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

Joy has been great at communicating with us from the start. Clear instruction and the house made us feel welcomed right from the start. There was no hassle and we enjoyed our stay.

Loved The Artist House!!! Great location and very private and relaxed. Gabby was very clear on directions to the house and check in details. Very central location, Welshpool has some lovely shops and pubs. Thank you Gabby and Rob for a lovely stay 😊

We had a perfect new year stay in Shirley's accommodation! The pictures on the listing do not do this place justice! There is so much room it is easy to fit 10 people and not be stepping on each others toes all the time. The instructions to get there and local information was extremely clear and useful. Shirley came to greet us and check we had settled in ok and if we needed any help. She was so friendly and helpful! When the WiFi went down (absolute disaster for the kids!), Shirley responded very quickly and rectified the problem immediately - thanks! The house is in a wonderful rural location to enjoy morning sunrises and close enough to Worcester to be able to easily visit and gather resources. There are so many walks which can easily be done from the house, we couldn't choose which to go on though the weather put paid to our grand plans. Such a great place and location and definitely would recommend for larger groups looking for this kind of accommodation.

House was as described - clean and comfortable and the host was very responsive. I'd recommend this to others.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the bunkhouse! It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The large table was an absolute highlight—we spent hours around it playing card games, and enjoying family meals. During our stay, Storm Darragh hit, which could have turned things upside down, but Alex and her family were fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure we were warm and comfortable, even setting up a generator to keep everything running smoothly. I believe the property was without power for more than 48 hours, but we were none the wiser. Despite the wild weather, we had such a lovely stay, and would return in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy and well-equipped spot for a group getaway!
