The place was beautiful as described, and was right on the beach. The staff were lovely. House instructions are inside in a laminated booklet that tells you what to expect. We got massages on site which were wonderful. Highly recommend - would love to go back one day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Pondok Wahyu Sedana. The villa was even nicer than anticipated with gorgeous views. It was quite tricky to get to - you definitely need a scooter or a car if you want to leave the villa as the nearest village is 1hr 20 return walk up and down hills in hot and humid conditions. An unexpected element was the inclusion of staff (a 'butler' type service which we dismissed as we felt uncomfortable having someone constantly in the space with us, and a security guard onsite). Just something to be aware of! Communication was great and you can organise great and affordable massages to the villa too.

Amazing villa. We had the entire property for ourselves. My wife and I had an outstanding stay. Especially grateful for nice touches such as a bathtub full of flowers for her birthday. They helped schedule a pro photographer for us on our tours. We had a floating breakfast in the pool. There were countless moments made memorable by the staff’s constant efforts to go the extra mile. The file was great. And when given enough notice they made every effort to have the ingredients required for you next meal. They even made things that weren’t on the menu if we gave them enough time for prepping. They just did everything right. Can’t wait to go back!

Wir haben uns in dieser wunderschönen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Villa sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt! Herzlich empfangen von den guten Seelen des Hauses wurden wir auch in den nächsten Tagen mit Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und tollem Essen verwöhnt. Der Garten ist wunderbar gepflegt, der riesige Pool glasklar und sauber - wir wollten am liebsten gar nicht mehr abreisen. Auch der Strand war ungewöhnlich sauber, so dass wir im Meer baden konnten. Vielen Dank an Komang, Fitri, Gede, Manas und das ganze Team für die schöne Zeit!

We had an amazing stay in Villa Winston. The staff is amazing, Yanti and Kadec were very helpful and kind and their food was incredible. I wish we could have stayed longer! Remco is responsive and flexible, we really appreciated all the help organizing an incredible week in this idyllic place.

Très belle maison, très bon accueil. Le logement est très bien placé pour le surf, belles vagues. La piscine est super pour les enfants et les grands. On recommande.

What a fantastic time our family of eight had at Villa Samora. From the first communications with Monique, and then subsequently Kadek, the seamless pick up from the airport by Putu, and the warm welcome when we arrived. Kadek did a marvellous job organizing private Balinese musicians and dancers for a special celebration and snorkelling trips. The groundsman, Made, goes about his tasks with a warm smile so efficiently, as does security at night. We all grew very fond of our lovely ladies, Katren, Putu & Ayu, whose gorgeous smiles, delicious food, and exemplary service made us quite teary to say goodbye to them. They made the experience that much more special. It was the perfect holiday villa, with room for everyone to find space if they needed it and come together when they chose. I highly recommend Villa Samora!

A shame we missed Rolf as we later found out: he left in the morning on the evening we arrived. Dini, his local manager, started communicating with me a week in advance and as we arrived late, she instructed security to help us move in. The staff was wonderful and were instrumental in making us feel absolutely comfortable, from the moment we arrived to when we checked out. We had a great and relaxing week and I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a 5 star stay.

We stayed at Bunga’s place with his staff for a week along with some friends. From the very beginning, we were impressed by Nyoman’s availability and helpfulness. Nyoman, the house Manager and the main point of contact for any guest needs, was quick to assist us. After just a short conversation, he had already arranged a transfer from Padang Bai port to the villa and provided us with scooters to rent for the following days. After a long journey, this service alone deserves sincere appreciation. The villa itself is spacious, offering all guests the perfect balance of privacy while also enjoying large communal areas like the pool, which we unfortunately didn’t get to use much due to the many activities we had planned. It’s worth noting that the villa is not serviced by Grab or Gojek, so if you’re not planning to get around by motorbike, this might be something to keep in mind. That said, we highly recommend this location to anyone looking for peace and serenity in nature at its purest.

住在帐篷里是一种独特的体验，好像没有距离地生活在树林里一样。餐厅的东南亚风格食物非常适合我们的胃口，工作人员也很热心。游泳池很不一样，像是在鱼缸里游泳的感觉。美中不足是在房间中会听到路过摩托车的噪音，没有想象中那样宁静。

Our pickup from the airport, arranged by Riny was seamless. We arrived at the Villa at 1am, but we were still greeted by our night guard and shown around. We were blown away by the beauty of this place. The housemaids, Gardner, Night watch and Driver all provided an impeccable service. Dolphin tours were organised, temple visits, waterfall visits. We were cooked delicious home made meals when requested. There is a very small corner shop with beer and snacks 20m down the road. An Aftamart is a 10 minute walk away. Lovina and Sinjaraja 20-30min drive for restaurants etc. We all want to stay again!

I have lived in Bali for over 10 years and have been to hundreds of villas and hotels over the years. This Villa was one of my favorite ever. Why? Because this was one of the first villas that I have ever visited that actually felt like it was built for, and inhabited by, a family. It has every imaginable amenity that a kid of any age could wish for. And as any parent knows… happy kid, happy life! This villa over delivered on almost every level and every member of our group, ranging from 3 years old to 80 years old, was perfectly happy with everything! Yes, it’s far from anything, but that’s totally the point and I couldn’t have been happier. Also, worth mentioning is the fantastic snorkeling straight out the gate! Highly recommended!!

Tucked away in the tranquil hills of Sukasada, this villa offered the perfect sanctuary for deep inner work and self-exploration. With sweeping views of the ocean through a canopy of trees, and the cleanest environment I’ve experienced in Bali, it supported clarity and presence. The bed was spacious, the bathrooms large with hot water, and fresh air flowed through the space. Drinking water was delivered regularly—even though the tap water here is safe. The staff quietly maintained everything, changing sheets and keeping the villa pristine. The grounds were alive with flowering plants, and the sound of a river below added to the calm. Nearby waterfalls offered immersion in nature, while local hotels and resorts provided places to eat or be social. This wasn’t just a stay—it was a portal into presence, purpose, and the deeper layers of myself. It quietly held me through a season of grief, becoming part of the foundation beneath Tear of Hope.

Jody and her magical villa are the BEST! A dream come true. Gorgeous, home-y and magical in every sense of the word! Every inch is beautifully furnished and decorated in such great detail! So many little corners inside and outside to nestle up in! Feng shui and energy is amazing there! And the beach, right in your backyard, is warm and perfect for swimming! Kadek and the grounds crew are so sweet and friendly and keep the place immaculate! Jody herself is awesome— warm, friendly, sincere, extremely responsive and helpful — her beautiful energy is throughout the property. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! Exceeded my expectations!!

Het is jammer dat de eigenaren zelf niet in de villa komen. Denk dat dit van belang is om achterstallig onderhoud te zien. Voor ons was de lokatie en de vriendelijkheid van Indah het belangrijkste. Denk alleen dat er wel mensen zijn die zich ergeren aan oude vieze kit en vergeelde douchedeuren. Ook zijn de douchekoppen op kabouterhoogte opgehangen. Het zwembad had ook wat extra instructies van ons nodig (water was troebel, maar na een chloor shock en waterverversing was die weer in orde. Indah maakte voor iedereen zijn eigen gewenste ontbijt klaar. Een fantastische pembantu.

Great Villa with all the expected amenities and comfort. The staff is great, always available for shopping, cooking , etc The villa is amazing, it is in my sense bigger than what the picture suggests. You will need a car or driver (that is what we did) to go places as it is isolated, but that is exactly what we wanted: peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommended 😎

Nice place close to restaurants and host booked dolphins

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la villa est tout simplement splendide, calme, bien décorée, les lits très confortable très propre. La piscine est fabuleuse avec tout le mobilier nécessaire. proche de la plage à pied et de toutes les commodités restaurants magasins etc... Nous recommandons à 200%. Merci pour ce très beau séjour.

Les villas sont incroyables, j’ai rarement eu l’occasion d’aller dans un endroit aussi atypique. Quelques remarques seulement : si vous venez en grand groupe, évitez les grandes voitures pour 6 mais privilégiez des voitures pour 4 car les routes sont petites, cela vous évitera de faire des détours pour vous rendre à la villa. Je ne recommande pas le cottage car tous les jours, il y a quelqu’un qui parle la nuit dans un micro (il ne nous a pas semblé qu’il s’agissait d’un muezzin mais plutot de quelqu’un d’un peu dérangé qui rigolait seul) également il y a une ferme de cochon et de poulet tres bruyants à côté). Les villas mériteraient un peu de rafraîchissement car plusieurs Baignoires n’étaient pas fonctionnelles et les coussins sont très gros et durs. Les villas sont à 30 minutes des plus belles rizières que nous avons visité à Bali : celles de tegallalang et à proximité de Ubud (30 min). Par contre, il n’y a rien d’accessible à pied.

Cinq années plus tard nous sommes revenus et nous avons passé un superbe séjour. La villa est fantastique. Le jardin magnifique et excellement entretenu. Le personnel est tellement gentil et serviable ! Une dédicace toute particulière à Putu et Komang. Putu s'est toujours préoccupé de nous et nous a proposé les services de pickup. Quant à Komang, elle nous a préparé des repas délicieux. Je recommande vivement cette villa

We really can recommend staying at Tegal Tis Villas! It was one of our best experience ever:) The Villas are a bit outside of Ubud but the Villa offers a free bus shuttle several times a day and it takes only about 20minutes to the the center. In general we really liked that it was a bit more quiet there. Like you couldn’t even notice your villa neighbors sometimes. In addition we had the pool most of the time for ourselves. The pool is a highlight for itself ! You can see the sunset from there if the weather is nice. We also had free breakfast included and absolutely loved it! They even organized a floating breakfast for us which was absolutely goals. The staff in general are super friendly, responsive and kind! Our room was cleaned every day and we ate several times at the villa ( very tasty and for reasonable price). We also used the massage service . All in all we can say that you won’t miss anything there. The Villa offers so much and you will have a great time! We would definitely come back.
