Super suite right next to Paparoa. I loved being on the top floor, surrounded by palm trees, birdsong, and the sound of the ocean. It is possible to do an inspired hiking loop without driving by walking down to Paparoa track, cutting south in the inland track, and circling back to the cottage. This will take you past the caverns, pancake rocks, and some of the best hiking around. I felt the suite was very cozy and had a warm feeling.

Barbara is an amazing host, and her place is so homely and beautiful, the location is perfect, absolutely stunning, will definitely always choose to stay here whenever we visit Westport. thanks so much again for your helpfulness and kindness Barbara 🥰

Ann's place was all one could ask. it is on the edge of town nestled among horse paddocks, a short distance from the beach. There is a "resident" Weka to check you out. two friendly horses that like handfuls of grass. The Coal museum is a must see - then go up to the Deniston Coal Mine (take an extra layer). This was a great place to stay.

We only stayed here for one night on our journey up the coast, but it was easy to find, very quiet and a spacious apartment. We walked to Pancake rock (which was interesting) then walked the Pororari river track, which was good and not crowded. The people in the information centre were very helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go on the beach but it looked nice.

Accommdation was very good. Unfortuntley I missed the part on the listing about needing to take own linen however the communications with host was excellent. House was not quite suitable for our workers with no Wifi or Dryer, but everything was as expected when reading the listing fully. Would be a great place for a family holiday. Thank you

David's Cape Foulwind home is near, or at, the top of any Airbnb we have ever experienced! And that covers a lot of places. The photos don't do it justice as both inside and out the place is stunning. David was proactive with communication and his recommendation for Bev's Scullery in Waimangaroa was spot on for pies. Even though it was winter, we were very comfortable inside. We benefited from some exceptional weather, but the views would be amazing regardless.

Even better than the photos! The Bali Bungalow is the perfect weekend retreat. Lisa & Mark are fabulous hosts and have created the perfect wee get away! The landscaping/gardens was a real highlight for us!

Absolutely magic. Highly highly recommend. Te Miko is a stunning little collection of houses surrounded by lush native bush. The house is spacious and beautiful. Lovely wee path down to Truman Track. I was impressed that there is a shared cycleway/footpath all the way to the pancake rocks

Jo and Steve's place is a corner of peaceful paradise, overlooking the farm and the sea under an ever-changing sky. The house was clean and freshly done on arrival and we had everything we needed. The hot tub is divine.
