We love our stay! This house had everything we needed for us and our children. A fun entertainment room, all you need for cooking. Super clean, and the aroma diffuser essence they have smells so amazing! it’s so relaxing! If you’re looking for a peaceful & clean place, you’ll enjoy this house :)

Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

WONDERFUL. Mark and Kimberly really set the bars with the home and communication! They were quick to respond always helpful! The home was beautiful it was just what we needed! We were only 15 min from downtown Morganton but still got to experience the mountains with the location. 10/10 we will definitely be booking again!

Peaceful Getaway with Stunning Lake Views I had an incredible stay at the Cozy Lakefront Retreat! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the serene surroundings and breathtaking lake views. The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for unwinding—whether sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the water or enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it enough and look forward to coming back soon!

First time on lake James and it blew us away! Andrew’s home was a perfect fit for us to be able to enjoy the surroundings!

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Nice, last minute weekend getaway for us! The house is very spacious and clean. The pool was very relaxing and the scenic view was amazing. My wife and I stayed at the Farmhouse for 5 weeks and it was one of the best places I've stayed. The farmhouse has modern appliances, modern wifi, and great farmhouse charm. The best equipped kitchen and laundry I've seen in an Airbnb. We also absolutely loved the chickens and pigs. You've got to visit the Highlands Butchery restaurant, great food and amazing bourbon selection. Jon and Kristina are the best people. Very welcoming and responsive to anything we needed. I am going to miss the quiet nights, the country side, and the chickens.

This home and the host were both awesome! The house was very comfortable and cozy. There was enough space for my entire group, yet it was cozy enough that it felt like home. The host had snacks and waters in the home for us to make us feel at home as well. They were also very communicative throughout the trip and checked to make sure we had arrived safely. I would certainly stay here again!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. It was an idyllic setting for a quick vacation with my three children. The cottage is on a beautiful piece of land with lovely views and scenery. The cottage was well-decorated, very comfortable and had every amenity you needed. It felt like home, but better. My children loved the huge basement downstairs with a ping pong table. Lastly, the host, Susan, was by far the best part of our stay. She was so lovely and helpful during our stay even giving us personal tours and sharing more fresh eggs. We can't wait to come back and stay with Susan again.

Chris's place was perfect for our family of four! Spacious, clean home with lots of charm. Loved that I could walk to town for meals and the park. Will absolutely try to stay here again on our next visit!

Sela’s place was ideal for our sisters’ getaway! It was easy to find and not far off the interstate. We especially loved the quiet, country setting and watching the birds each morning from the living room window. The house was very clean, everything worked as it should, and the beds were comfy! It was particularly warm for early November and we appreciated having screened windows we could open and ceiling fans in each room. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating. Honestly, there is nothing I would recommend for improvement. Sela thought of everything. With 3 women there, I appreciated having plenty of toilet paper, and not the cheap kind either. This quiet, safe, peaceful spot is ideal for a getaway and all 3 sisters give it 5 ⭐️

Very Nice Home! Very Clean! Easy to relax. Great location a park is in walking distance. Great space for 8 people! The host was responsive and left clear instructions for new Air BnBers.

I really liked how responsive Donna was and how everything in her home was spot on. The everything where it was and she has so much snacks for my husband to snack on. I also enjoyed the cozy living room and the front porch, it helped me relax from the busy weather coast city life. When I come back out here I’m coming back to Donna’s place.

Loved the home, property and location! Very private, quiet and peaceful! It's right next to South Mountain State Park, which was a definite plus for us. It's a great place to unplug and unwind while hanging out on the back porch, walking along the river next to the property or hiking in the park!

Everything was beautiful and a peaceful stay with family. Brittany was always quick to respond! The listing stated a hot tub, and we were a bit disappointed to find it in not working condition - but after talking with our lovely host, we were able to come to an agreement! We recommend this place for anyone looking to getaway for the weekend! Perfect for larger families, and so much to do in the area! Like Tubing, Ice Skating, Skiing, Snowboarding, and Hiking! 10/10!

My family and I recently stayed at Corinne’s place for Christmas as my mom lives nearby. It was a perfect Airbnb for us - absolutely beautiful house and views, plenty of space, kitchen and laundry were ideal. We did not use the sauna or the downstairs but they looked great too. Internet was fast and beds were comfy too. We hope to stay again when visiting family!

We enjoyed our weekend stay, as the home was as good if not better than pictured. We were in town for my daughter’s dance competition and the house is a short 5 minute drive to the Broyhill Civic Center which was very convenient. The place was spotless and recently updated. Patricia made the experience from booking to checkout very easy and I would happily book with her again.
