Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

We enjoyed this beautiful home, peaceful area, and lovely views from the porch and dock. AMAZING fall colors and sunsets. Kelly is kind and responsive, and the home has so many amenities to ensure guests are comfortable and feel at home. Plenty of space to gather as a group or relax in a quiet spot for coffee and reflection. We reserved for our daughter to participate in the Fonta Flora 50K at nearby Lake James State Park. That was postponed, so we were able to volunteer at the park with other race participants to help clear and reroute trails in the state park. We were welcomed with friendly, open arms by restaurant and shop owners in the quaint cities of Marion and Black Mountain. So good to see and experience people loving each other and helping to rebuild after the hurricane. Definitely will return!!

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Despite being at the air bnb during Hurricane Helene we had a great time. Matt is accommodating and easy to work with and the home was great! Lots of room and bathrooms with a great kitchen space. Our power was only out minimally compared to other places around us and the community came together to cut fallen trees to open up the roads. We appreciate Matt so much and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful lakefront house was great for our group! The house is a bit dated throughout, but the incredible location on a quiet inlet and amazing outdoor space more than makes up for it. Sitting on the screened in porch was a great space to gather. We also got a great rec from Lori for a pontoon boat rental which was dropped off right at the dock for our use. Will definitely be back!

My family had a wonderful stay at Cindy’s place! The space was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed and more. Cindy left age appropriate toys for our kids (7 & 10) and they loved the kids room, pinball, the jute box, and all the outdoor and water toys. The beach and dock were private and tucked away in the cove and perfect for hanging out all day on the water. The screen porch was also a great place to sit and relax. Cindy made sure we had everything we needed and was very accommodating!

The view of the pond and the trees in bloom were exactly what we needed. It was very peaceful and beautiful. We felt right at home in this tiny house since we live in an RV full time. The only thing missing was a closet or a dresser to unpack a few things from the suitcase, but I have not idea how to add that since Joey's made great use of all the space. The view of the moon and stars from the bed was pretty cool. We'd definitely stay again.

Kelsey and Jeremy are very generous hosts! The property is beautiful and right along a creek! We loved petting the animals, eating in restaurant (loved those milkshakes, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches)! The family movie night was so fun! Thank you for providing us with board games in our cabin! We will be coming back!

This was such a cute cabin..just as described. The hot tub was fabulous with great views of the river. The host was super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. The farm animals were a bonus! Would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

Tom's place was just as described. Very clean and neat. Had everything we could possibly need. Beautiful place and surroundings. Peaceful and relaxing..just what we needed!
