Nelson was an excellent, helpful host. We had four couples staying here and all of us were very happy with the privacy of our rooms and space in communal areas. The kitchen was very well prepared for cooking, and access to the Stowe ski resort was easy as well.

We stayed at Carolyn's place in March during Florida spring break and it was exactly as advertised. The home was perfect for our group of 8, two families with four children. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, We made great use of the fire pit for smores and the kids loved having the yard space to run around in the snow! The location was perfect and easy to walk to many bars, shops and restaurants. It is a very easy drive up the mountain or to other nearby towns. Carolyn was very helpful and responsive during the trip as well. We made use of all the great recommendations she provided for local hikes, attractions or restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we can't wait to do it again!

Perfect location for our family to stay very close to our son’s dorm at Champlain College. We were able to host his friends for a casual dinner at the house which was very special. Very clean, comfortable and spacious!

Great place for a weekend ski trip with friends. There are multiple bedrooms, some with two beds, plenty of bathrooms - so everybody had plenty of space and enough privacy. The place is well stocked with towels, soap, shower gel. Hot tub is a great feature. The kitchen (there are two actually) also has a great pantry with basics, plates, utensils, cookware (which we didn’t really use, but it was available). There are huge washer and drier in the basement. Really great living are with a fire place. Everything matched and exceeded expectations. The house is 20 mins drive to Stowe mountain, and 5-10 mins drive to most restaurant - so overall very close to everything. At the same time, the location was pretty private. The road leading to the house is unpaved - if it’s wet or muddy, you are better off with an SUV. Great house overall, 5 stars.

Beautiful home, as described. Nice personal touches with towels and mini shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is large and has most every appliance you would want. Caretaker does come in twice per day but is friendly and unobtrusive. You do need AWD/4WD to access the house.

It is a beautiful house where you can smell the family and we liked that a lot. It is close to the ski slopes, very clean and comfortable. Lidsa and Tom have very good communication, excellent service.

This is a beautiful comfortable place to stay! Only issue was code provided did not open the door when we arrived. Had to wait in driveway for about 30 minutes for a reply but once we got in everything was great! Would rent again!

We had an amazing time!! Place was amazing, views spectacular as promised, and we loved the stove/fireplace. The 4WD note is real — our rental car company failed us, gave us a 2WD, and we couldn’t get up the driveway. We parked at the bottom of the hill … it was a 5-10min walk and not an issue for anyone in our group. So, make sure you have 4WD, or if you don’t mind a walk, that might work too!

This is a great house to stay in. There's a lot of space, places to sleep, sit and relax, eat, watch tv, play games, work, read, cook. Plenty of hot water.. Very private, although in a neighborhood. Nice back yard area when not covered in snow, looking up at the mountains behind. Sheri is top notch. Easy to reach, super friendly and helpful, easy going. We came at the tail end of a snow storm, but the driveway was cleared enough to get our car in and then Sheri worked with us to make sure everything was cleared before we had to go out the next day. Easy walk into the cute town of Bristol. Handful of nice shops (books, games, art, crafts, gifts, toys) and restaurants: Wokky's--ok Chinese/great staff; Minifactory--out of sight coffee/biscuits/sandwiches/fresh ingredients/lot of gluten free; Cubber's--locals' joint/excellent pizza/sandwiches; Farmhouse Chocolates--superb fresh organic truffles, bars, caramels/chocolatier is wonderful. Easy drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush for skiing.

What a gorgeous home and view🙏💙 It was absolutely perfect for our family. It was beautifully decorated, cozy, roomy for all, unbelievable views from every room, outdoor area was perfect, nothing missed on detail. We would definitely stay here again.

Place was as advertised. Beautiful, great location, great views, close to convenient grocery shopping and slopes. We'd love to come back some day.

Loved the location, only 20 minutes from Downhill & Cross Country skiing. Supermarket only 10 minutes & downtown Stowe a bit more. Two brewery's within 10 minutes. House was very comfortable & all 4 bedrooms had comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Overall we were very happy with our choice of property.

A Magical Cabin Experience Our stay at this rustic cabin captivated us from the start. The warm exterior lighting at night created a fairytale ambiance. Spacious and beautifully decorated, the cabin featured a large stone fireplace for cozy evenings. Authentic yet modern wooden interiors, clean and well-maintained, provided everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for relaxation. Stepping outside at night, we were amazed by the stunningly clear sky and even caught a glimpse of Orion’s Belt. The outdoor deck and seating area offered peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing retreat. Whether you’re a couple seeking romance or a family wanting quality time, it has it all.

We are repeat visitors and loved our stay again. The home and property are wonderful for our annual group trip. It is away from the crowds of the mountain and downtown Stowe, but yet so close. The view, the natural surroundings, the privacy make it just the escape we need. The space has lots of separate areas so kids can and adults can all find areas to play, read, watch something on TV, stare out the windows, or cook and hang out in the kitchen. It checks all our boxes.

We have stayed at this location a number of times of times. Winter, Spring, Summer and fall and it never disappoints. Great location, close enough to the action but very peaceful. I stayed there with my family and kids (6 and 2) and it is perfect. I have also stayed there with buddies for all ski weekend and also perfect! House is extremely comfortable and impeccably maintained. Amenities are as advertised. Bob is a great and responsive host, though with the way the place is kept and the great instructions provided you likely won’t need to contact him. Really, get this place. You won’t be disappointed!

The best stay around! Barre is a great little walkable town with shops and restaurants to explore. It’s only a short drive to local ski / snowboarding mountains as well as some hiking. The house was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed that made it feel like we were cooking right at home, which we loved. Karen and Courtney were responsive and very helpful!

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Lovely house and beautiful lot! Spent lots of time playing in the yard, swimming in the pool and exploring all the things that Stowe has to offer. We'll be back!

We had such a great time at Ashley's place and really appreciated the welcome basket & being able to bring our 2 kitties with us to stay that need meds. (We also loved the neighborhood porch kitty that visited daily.) Thank you SO much, Ashley!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here! Close to the mountain to hit the slopes, large enough common area, and comfortable furniture. Kitchen is stocked with sufficient plates, utensils, cups and has variety of cookware. If you are particular about your cookware and knives, recommend bringing your own. Also recommend future stayers bring extra kitchen consumables like paper towel, cling wrap and aluminium foil if they plan to need.

Great place to stay for a ski trip with 8 people! Was able to fit all of us comfortably. Location is close to town and Stowe resort. We took full advantage of the fireplace. The parking area and walkways were plowed and shoveled every day it snowed. Very comfortable Airbnb.
