I think every single Airbnb host needs to take notes from Wood. This place had every single thing an actual home would need. The toiletries were stocked, the kitchen was perfect for cooking on vacation, the furniture was comfortable and we felt we had everything we needed! They always say “just bring your bags” but Wood delivered on that. This place was truly a home away from home.

Our stay at Jason’s cabin was a 4/5 experience. While the cabin had potential, several issues impacted our visit. The biggest problem was the misleading description: we assumed each cabin was private based on the photos, but the fine print revealed it’s actually a shared community space. We spoke with other guests, and they had the same confusion. One cabin was told the sauna was private, while others were given shared-use instructions, which felt inconsistent. The hot tub area had a red ant infestation, and I ended up with several bites. Additionally, the property has multiple hosts, leading to unclear communication. One of the other occupants even shared pictures showing how unclean their cabin was, which raised concerns about cleanliness across the property. In our cabin, the floor was coming apart, which was disappointing. Knowing all this now, I’d consider staying again if I were more inclined to being social and sharing space with others. However it wasn’t quite what I expected

Liz was a great host! Very communicative and proactive. The location was perfect and the view was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

The place itself was nice and updated providing us with everything we needed. We loved that it was so close to everything. And it was a bonus to have the pickleball court, firepit, and hot tub.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! Perfect little retreat! Comfy beds, super clean and cozy. We'll most definitely be back!

Cabin was very warm and peaceful. we had a very relaxing stay! The hot tub was perfect. There is plenty of places to shop around the cabin. We would definitely stay again!

I very much enjoyed my stay at Daniel's lake house. The screened-in porch and outdoor seating on the lower level were great. The lake was great for paddle boarding and his neighbors were all very friendly. I plan to rent again next summer.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was the perfect location to enjoy some peace and quiet, but also a short drive to shops and restaurants when we wanted to explore. Anna provided a wonderfully curated list of popular restaurants and activities.

We had a cozy one night stay at Kelly’s place! Loved how comfy it was am well stocked with all you would need. The fire place in the bedroom was nice ambience and beds were comfortable! The perfect place to stay for dinner at Farrand Hall! Easy drive to and from the venue!

Staying at the kal-haven outpost cabins was everything I hoped it would be! We came up for my birthday weekend and it was wonderful; everything from the peacefulness of the campsite, to the delicious, free coffee and chats in the morning, to the bikeable trail right next to the campsite into town (we rented bikes from the outpost), dog friendly-cabins/campsite, to helpful staff (thanks Heather and Robert!), clean communal bathrooms and showers, and flexibility with check-in and check-out, I couldn't have asked for a better long weekend. Thanks so much; we'll be back!

The tincan camp was everything I had hoped for. I wanted to take my kids to a fun spring break getaway. The cabin was so family/kid friendly and we felt very comfortable and at home there. During our stay, there was a nasty storm that ended up knocking out the power. Jim found out it would be a bit of an extended period before the power came back on, so he was kind enough to bring over not only a generator, flashlight and headlamps, but also brought food to throw on the grill for us, since we couldn't cook inside the cabin. Completely unexpected and unnecessary but so tight full and helpful! He truly went out of his way to make sure my kids and I were taken care of and as comfortable as possible in a stressful situation. So glad we made the trip to Tincan and hopefully we will have an opportunity to visit again in the future!

We wanted a romantic gateway and that was perfect for us! We loved the experience, and can’t wait to go back during the summer time!

Liz was an absolute wonderful host! We booked this Airbnb to celebrate our mom’s birthday and mine and my husband’s anniversary and it was PERFECT! We had access to plenty of water toys and kayaks! Every night we sat in the enclosed patio and enjoyed the views. Liz even left us fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers that we used to make a beautiful garden salad! We are vegetarians so it was truly a treat! We would definitely recommend this home to any family and we look forward to renting here again!

We loved this cabin! Very quiet & peaceful. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were still close to several cute towns. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We would absolutely stay here again!

Julie’s place was a quiet getaway. It was very quiet and close to the water with a public access less than 5 minutes away.

Jo’s place is one of the finest airbnb’s i have ever been the location the vibe from the place was 10/10 will definetly be back this summer the heater in the property didn’t work properly so it was cold as hell other than that we loved our stay

Very secluded and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful inside and out with an amazing view backed up the water. The host is great at communicating, giving clear instructions on checking in and out along with anything else we needed.

We've been coming here for over 17 years. Great little cottage, picturesque setting with solid fishing. On this most recent trip, The Wailers (formed by Bob Marley) were playing at Warner Vineyards and we could hear that sweet reggae music while we BBQ'd and chilled by the campfire.

This is our second time staying here and we will be back again, it is cozy and convenient for us when we are here for a large yearly event in Kalamazoo! Brent is great and always accommodating!

This is a genuinely ancient cabin, but it is in perfect condition, beautifully furnished, and with entirely modern heating, kitchen, and bathroom. The combination makes for a very comfortable and atmospheric experience. The farm is beautiful and there are woods and fields for hiking.
