Lovely bedroom and separate private bathroom in Lesley's house. Comfortable and warm, easily walkable to the City centre and Chelmsford City FC. Ideal for couples exploring the area. Lesley is a great host!

After some helpful calls with Tibouche, we arrived to a clean and welcoming space that was perfect for my 26th birthday party / New Years' celebration. Tibouche and her husband were very welcoming, and left us to orchestrate things ourselves. I'd recommend this lovely house to anyone wanting to have a big private party, although I'd take advantage of the BnB element of this house more than we did!

We had a wonderful time at Sarah’s place. Lovely area around Mill Road with great restaurants, quirky pubs and welcoming cafes. Easily walkable to the river and centre of town and nice to be a bit removed from from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Sarah was very responsive and kind. The place was perfect for 3 friends, nice to have 2 bathrooms / showers.

Really well appointed space with very comfortable bed. Amanda is a friendly and attentive host (and has dogs, so that's a big bonus if you have a dog too - as we did!). Loved the little touches, like the flowers and the pretty butter dish!! Sue, Martin (and Nahla the dog)

Charming farm estate in English countryside. Rooms were renovated and clean, the breakfast included was amazing therefore the overall stay was perfect. Would love to go back.

Another wonderful stay, this is the third time our family have visited and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. The house is beautifully presented and location very peaceful, but easy to find. Andy and Carol are wonderful hosts, knowledgeable about the area and things to do - They are friendly and attentive and lay on a fabulous breakfast spread. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Clowns guest house. The accommodation was a really high standard, the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting my cousin in the village. We would highly recommend Lydia’s place.

I enjoyed a great stay with Jen and shall fully recommend her homely establishment. Responsive, warm and helpful Jen is very popular with earlier guests too, such is an recommendation in itself! My room was comfortable with easy access to the bathroom facilities (very clean). Jen was both flexible and helpful in her approach and the visit served the purpose of my short-stay well. It is a little way out of the town-centre. A car/some mobility helpful. However, close to the train station (walking-distance) and there is also convenient near access to local bus services. Good breakfast including and Jen's home an ideal location for a short (else longer term) visit to the Bury St Edmunds area. I shall certainly hope to stay again. Thank you

Pleasant and easy stay within close walking distance to city center. Accommodations exactly as described. The flat was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Our booking was very last minute and I’m glad that we were easily accommodated. Thank you Anthony & Caryn!

We stayed for four nights. James let us enter early on Christmas Eve. The house was even nicer than the photos. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. James left Christmas treats for us. The house had everything we needed to cook meals. We had a question and James responded quickly. We walked to downtown Cambridge every day and it took about 25 minutes. We highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous place to stay with everything you could possibly need. We stay here approximately six times a year and we love it. The location is brilliant, five minutes away from family and you are only a short journey to Harlow train station into London. Helen is an amazing host and is always responsive if you have any little queries. Helen is very thoughtful and always puts some breakfast items in the flat too which is a lovely touch. We will continue to visit Helen‘s place, looking forward to our next visit!!

Everything about Emma's apartment was as described. There's plenty of space, it's in a very quiet area but very conveniently situated, with very good dining, drinking and shopping options within an easy walk, and about a half hour brisk walk to the center of the city. There were enough Nespresso pods to get is through the first couple breakfasts, along with croissants, cereal, jam, juice and milk. M&S market is about a 5 minute walk if you need to resupply. There are a few flights of stairs to navigate, and the bathtub is a little high up requiring some caution climbing in and out, so it's not suitable if you have mobility issues, but that's spelled out in the listing. Overall, it fit our needs perfectly.

Bella is a fantastic host and was responsive to all of our queries. The apartment itself is very clean, spacious and the bedding was amazing! I would recommend for a relaxing staycation with friends.

We had a great few days in Bury St Edmunds and would visit here again. The directions to the place were clear and parking was provided. The place was well equipped and had everything we needed.

Needed a place to stay as we were attending a funeral some 21/2 hours from home. Riona was very helpful and understanding. She welcomed us warmly into her home which was beautiful. Spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and so we welcomed the good nights sleep we had after a long day. The breakfast table was overflowing with plenty of choice and set us up nicely for the drive home. All in all it was a perfect choice for us at an extremely reasonable cost. Thank you Riona for your hospitality and welcome into your home.

Yosita was welcoming and friendly. The house is a beautiful listed building and our room was at the top of the house and was nice and quirky, just what we like. Breakfast was excellent and we would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely stunning place , 'Pop ' the land lady was attentive, polite and super responsive. This is the place you go back to over and over again .

Notre séjour s'est bien passé : la chambre correspondait à la description, était propre, et le jardin était charmant. Jane répondait vite aux messages et était très chaleureuse quand nous l'avons rencontrée. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien également. Le centre-ville est accessible à pied, et le quartier calme, surtout le soir.

The Maltings is quiet and secluded being just off the beaten track. However, finding it was made so much easier by Shirley's clear instructions sent out prior to arrival. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and snuggley warm with all the facilities you need for a few days away. The breakfasts were delivered at check-in and were more than enough for our 4 day stay. (A fine selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, juice and pasteries.). It is well placed for days out across the whole of East Anglia, with plenty of places of interest within an hour's drive. Would happily stay again.
