Excellent accommodation over looking the river with a pub/restaurant within 100m. Local walks to exercise or look at the local nature. Ideal accommodation to fit our family in and a great place to relax or travel to local attractions. Emma was great providing us with all the useful information you would otherwise have to research yourself. All the space was spot on and the hot Tub was fantastic to relax in either day or night. Would definitely recommend.

Great house close to Christchurch Park, and a 10 minute walk downhill into town. We felt comfortable staying here and had a brilliant week in Ipswich. Thank you!

This was a great house for our family of five. Equipped with every thing we needed, quiet location with lovely riverside and common land walk nearby. The garden was pretty and dog proof so we made the most of the good weather. And most importantly the beds were comfortable . Christina was very accommodating for our travel plans and check in/out times. Comes highly recommended. Thank you so much!

I chose the house for practical reasons as I needed be near to an elderly parent over Christmas. It was actually bigger than I expected and it was lovely to find a house so clean and tidy; and thoughtfully organised, ordered and equipped. Trevor's responses and suggestions were excellent – and the fact he'd got milk in was a godsend as my father found he'd run out after the shop closed. Altogether, it was like a real home from home. The house is an easy walk from the main centre of Orford and although as a city-dweller, I found the lack of street-lighting disconcerting when walking back at night, the traffic was light and never fast. The children's festive service in St Bartholomew's on Dec 25th was beyond delightful, and there was a warm welcome (and free drinks!) in the pub next door to the churchyard afterwards. I already know the village and enjoyed rediscovering some excellent walks and spending time looking at the boats on the quay. Altogether a relaxing, stress-free experience.

Pennys Place was a real good find, my self and my party thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the beds were very comfy. The location is conveniently located just a stones throw from the beach with amazing views at sunrise. Penny was very friendly and responsive and was kind enough to offer us a late check out which really did help with our travel plans. I would stay again and recommend this place. 10/10

Good accommodation in a beautiful area, very quiet, perfect for a " getaway." Accommodation was very clean.

We absolutely loved our stay in Augusta Dreams, absolutely beautiful lodge, set in an idylic spot overlooking the lake and golf course! We arrived on the friday to a welcome bottle of bubbly in the fridge, we cooked in the lodge that evening and our friends arrived on the Saturday, we had breakfast in the lodge and ate out at The Barn and The Dabbling Duck for the other 2 evenings very lovely, we visited Worzals Garden Centre, Bar and Grill on the Monday and the boys played golf as the course was shut over the weekend due to the weather!! Our friends were just as impressed with the lodge and vista!! Everything we needed was catered for!! The lodge is incredibly spacious, private and very tranquil, even during "Storm Bert", we barely noticed the wind for most of the stay, only the strong gusts were noticeble really!! Marc was very quick in responding to any queries and sharing information!! Thanks again Marc, we look forward to another stay soon!! Nikki, Bri, Kay and Paul from Essex.

A beautiful location in gorgeous surroundings. Polly sent plenty of information regarding the accommodation and local area which was extremely helpful. The property was perfect for us as I can't think of anything better than waking up to the sound of birds singing rather than the sound of traffic! The house was very warm and cosy and it was lovely to be able to walk around the grounds and lake. I definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to visit this area!

The most beautiful setting for a girls weekend away! The cottage was absolutely perfect, and the addition of having complimentary access to the health club and spa for the duration of our visit was a real treat! The communication for the host and the warm and friendly welcome from the spa staff was fantastic. We enjoyed the local circular walk as recommended and booked treatments in the spa, went to Sandringham for afternoon tea which was just a short drive away and found some fabulous places to explore locally! We will definitely be returning, it was a perfect stay in every way!

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Such a comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Great location in Reydon, easily walkable to Southwold. Secure back garden which is such a bonus when you have a dog! Lots to do in the local area, great walks, cafes and pubs (many of which are dog friendly). Corin is a great host and responds quickly to queries. This is our second time in this cottage and we will certainly be back.

Everything that you needed was there if you wanted to cook you could. It suited us fine as it was bolt hole whilst visiting family have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

The cottage was exactly as described, in a very peaceful location. The cottage was clean and well stocked! Stephen was very helpful and responded to messages very quickly! Would definitely stay here again!

Had a lovely stay over the weekend. Chalet was stocked with everything we needed and extra treats made it amazing. Beach wasn’t a far walk at all! Horsey gap is definitely worth a visit as well to see the seals. Over all a lovely weekend away

Having stayed at The Wheelhouse about 4 years ago we knew what to expect, and we were not disappointed. John was extremely helpful prior to, and during our stay. The accommodation is exactly as described and while the sleeping accommodation on the deck is not for everyone, John has obviously taken great care to accurately describe it in the listing, and it is perfect for our family- as it would be for many other families or couples. The location is fantastic- you can hear the sea! It’s so close to the pier with amusement arcade and to the beach with only a short walk up into town with many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. John had kindly left us milk in the fridge and some biscuits. There is a combination microwave/ oven/ grill and also a hob so we could easily make breakfast and other meals. When we return to Southwold later this year we will definitely check the availability of the Wheelhouse! Thank you John, for a wonderful derail stay over the new year period!

Harrison was the most welcoming host and accommodating. Great communication, the place was clean, cosy and had everything you needed and looked exactly as it looks and described. Short walk to the beach and town centre or short drive to local shops/retail park. Would deffo use Harrison again for our next visit.

Hayley could not have been nicer or a more accommodating host Before we even arrived Hayley pro actively reached out and made us aware of how to find the location and what to look out for. She sent clear instructions on how to collect keys and when we arrived it immediately felt homely. The location was immaculate, cosy and personable and so so peaceful. There was a spot for us to park and no issues at all throughout our 2 day stay Pictures don’t do this justice and Hayley is brilliant. If ever we come back to the area we’re 100% re booking with Hayley as her communication was brilliant and the location and Airbnb were exceptional Thoroughly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat
