Thanks to the hosts that were very friendly and helpful! This is a place to destress and unwind, so good for the soul. We’ve never been to the Eastern Cape and we saw some beautiful little towns and lovely countryside. The unit was comfortable and lovely decorated. We will be back!

Marion was a fantastic host! I truly enjoyed my stay at her place – she was so kind and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The space was comfortable, and her warm hospitality made the experience memorable. I’d definitely recommend staying with her!

We enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, fast internet connection. Beautiful view of the sea We are definitely coming back in December. Although we had an issue with the alarm on our first day but everything was fixed on time.

This is probably the best view in the world! Thank you to Camilla for the beautiful house with literally anything that you may need. A clean house and a house that was designed to live in open spaces with beautiful views of both the river and the ocean. Camilla is very responsive, extremely helpful and very friendly. This was our 2nd time, looking forward to the third.

Un endroit magnifique, des animaux sauvages (Zèbres, Impalas, Waterbuck) à proximité. La piscine est très bien, ainsi que tout le mobilier intérieur et extérieur. Par ailleurs, l’internet n’est pas stable et malheureusement, le ménage laisse à désirer, malgré la présence semi-quotidienne d’une employée de maison. Nous avons tout de même grandement apprécié notre séjour.

Our little family had an amazing holiday here. The proximity to the beach meant that our kids could get their beach fix often without us having to pack a car. It’s quiet, homely and there’s lots to do in the vicinity (Kenton on Sea is 15 minutes away). Loved it and will try and book it again next year!

The place was lovely and had a to-die-for view. We could hear the sound of the ocean at night which was just amazing. The house is well kept and has all the convenient amenities. I would most definitely recommend the place to any family wanting to stay in Port Alfred .

Hans was a wonderful host! He met us on sight and gave us helpful information about the house, alarm, neighborhood and amenities. Will absolutely stay here again as it was peaceful and clean!!

A well equipped and nicely furnished house with good outdoor space too; a pretty garden and braai area with hot tub and balcony with great views. Modern appliances in the kitchen and we especially loved the ice maker! Close to the centre and easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Peaceful area but with permanent residents too and felt very safe. A very ‘usable’ house with plenty of space for six and more if you have friends over. Host Simon was responsive and helpful, caretaker Genevieve who lives just opposite was fabulous, so helpful and gave us peace of mind as foreigners that there was someone there to call on if in need. Kathleen the housekeeper and Masi the gardener were also lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Sally’s home was everything we imagined and more! Hosting us as a family of 8-10, we had ample space, plenty of bedrooms, an amazing outdoor area with a braai and walkable distance to the beach! Sally was super helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend her house if you feel like a home away from home!

If you looking for a place right on the river then Lesley’s place is great. We had a lovely holiday there and will be back thank you 🙏

Absolutely perfect for our family getaway. The grand babies loved the beach, as did the rest of us. Felt at home. Sad to leave but certain to be back.

Melisa’s rental was gorgeous and looked even better in person. She’s very friendly, as is her staff. It was a stunning time to spend at her place while in Port Alfred.✨

Melissa’s place was worth every penny. I would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it to anyone else. The apartment is stunning with beautiful views and super clean. I wish we were there for longer but I now have a first option anytime we in Port Alfred. She’s also an amazing host, she had water there for us because you shouldn’t drink from the tap. Check in and check out we’re also so seamless.

We had a great stay at this wonderful house. Unbeatable views of the beach and the sound of the sea to sooth your soul. Erik is a great host, friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was there. You cannot beat the location. Private and serene. I can highly recommend this place.
