Bute : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Karen and Colin were great hosts and looked after us during our stay. The cottage was lovely and cosy with electric heating and a wood burning stove. The enclosed garden was ideal for our wee dogs. The cottage was well situated for exploring Kintyre and the Isle of Ghia. We are hoping to rebook Ballochroy Cottage for another week later this year.

Simon’s place was lovely and relaxing. The view was great. A great space to also bring our dog. The local pub and coffee shop were closed the majority of the time when we stayed mid week but we went to nearby Dunoon for food one night. Thank you for the stay!

Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

Wij waren bijzonder blij met de locatie en tevens de mensen en het dorp Carradale. De ruimte was fijn en overzichtelijk. Vooral de kachel is veel benut. Heerlijk. Wij hebben simpelweg genoten en komen graag weer terug. Zou overigens fijn en goed zijn wanneer er weer in relatief kleine voorzieningen in het dorp wordt geinvesteerd. Zoals een bakker, slager en hotel. De mensen van Carradale, vooral degenen die wij in de pub mochten ontmoeten waren spraakzaam, sympathiek en spraakzaal. Vol humor.

Wow! What an incredible find. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The peace and tranquility whilst looking through the window out onto the loch and to the mountains is unreal. You’ll leave in love with the property and the location. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous location , great cottage with unbelievable views. Our host was amazing and went the extra mile when we forgot a precious walking stick and posted it back to us. Couldn’t recommend this cottage and host highly enough!

We stayed at Chris’ place over new year and it was perfect. A stunning setting with some lovely walks and right by the water. We saw red squirrels, an otter, a heron and lots of other birds. It was a short stay but there was a lot more to see and do than we managed.

My partner & I love visiting Arran and always like trying new parts of the island with each visit. Katie's place is something special. From the moment you walk up the path and enter the (cute pink!) door you feel right at home. Although its sold as "small" its never cramped. Its intimate, cosy and homey. The kitchen is so well equipped for cooking, spotless and you can enjoy your breakfast looking out over the water. The bathroom is divine; a wonderfully hot shower and warm flooring. The bed is an actual giant cloud. It was hard not to stay in it all day, cosied up with many of the interesting books the home has. Although attached to Katie's beautiful home, we felt so secluded. Katie's attention to detail and handwritten suggestions and maps were a god send. The local deli/ shop was great to have on our doorstep and the bus from Brodick essentially dropped us door to door. If youre staying, be sure to get up early, make a coffee and go watch the sunrise on the beach!

What a great place to stay; the view is stunning, so relaxing. I requested to stay longer but someone else beat me to it unfortunately; I should imagine this property is very popular. Richard was a fantastic host and couldn't do more to be helpful. Many thanks.

A really peaceful, beautiful spot on the Island of Bute with views out to sea and the mountains of Arran across Ettrick Bay. Very quiet spot with wildlife all around. Seals basking on the beaches around the island. If you like peace and quiet this is the place to go.

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay.

This place was just what I needed after weeks of stress. It’s a bit reserved so come prepared to walk or catch the bus to do things if you don’t have a car. I enjoyed the quaintness of the town with very friendly staff at the local pub (bring cash for bingo haha) and cafe. The Airbnb itself is perfectly located to take a dip in Loch Long or just go for a walk and see beautiful homes. Jill, the host, was very nice and accommodating. She had everything clean and tidy for us with extra toiletries in case we forgot anything. I believe her love and care of the place was what made the apartment feel welcoming and comfortable. The view was tranquil as the day passed and just what you need with a hot cup of tea after a long day. Perfect spot to be with your thoughts or just enjoy the luxuries of a calm day. I can’t recommend this enough!

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

We had a lovely stay in Jason and Mari’s beautiful cottage. The views are outstanding and the location and proximity to the seafront were perfect. The rooms were very comfortable, with excellent bedding and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were some lovely complimentary items included which were very much appreciated. We will definitely return next time we come to Fairlie.

Bentfield was simply magic. It was everything and more quirky, eclectic and homely the perfect place for our family get together traveling from New Zealand and corners of the UK, when our time was up we really didn’t want to leave. From family meals in the dining room, to chilling out in the sunroom to watching the sun go down over Arran on the lawn we made lots of memories.

We had an amazing stay at the lodge house with Iain. He was an excellent host and provided lots of great recommendations. The house was cozy and very well appointed, and the surroundings on the lake are stunning! The properties offered amazing views of Loch Goil, ample private space for walking, and even a friendly border collie friend! Highly recommend this place. We are eager to visit again.

The whole family loved the location, the house, the garden, the views and access to the beach. Very quirky and interesting home with great accommodation for our numbers. It took us a while to locate everything in both house and garden but that was part of the fun of it especially for the children.

We had a really fantastic family trip to Joshua’s place. He is a fantastic host. The house is perfect for a large group get together with lots of indoor and outdoor space.

Alan is a fantastic host - he popped by in person but was also responsive by text when I had a query or two. The house is perfect for a group and the large kitchen and living room was great for spending time together. The house was well equipped with various things you might need - glasses for fizz, speakers, HDMI cables etc. The view is also lovely. Would recommend!

Fantastic place for our very special family Christmas. Rae & Justin pulled out all the stops for Christmas including welcome gifts in our room. Great location and surroundings, fabulous easily accessible walks, towns and castles an hour away. The house was very accommodating and perfect for our group our 9, the use of the hot tub in December made it extra special
