Lovely place to just get away. Richard and Valerie are great hosts, and very responsive. The airbnb had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and the location is unmatched. It was also quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of a nearby downtown.

The house was wonderful! It was so close to my daughters that I could walk. And just close enough to downtown that you’re ready for near the action without being right in it. Stephanie was absolutely a great communicator. We found an issue right at the end and I was super nervous about it but Stephanie put my mind right at ease and was very compassionate. It was perfect!

Upon walking in, we immediately fell in love with the house. It was perfect for the weekend! We especially loved the location because it was within walking distance to downtown Chico and the university. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place, only a partial role of toilet paper in each bathroom so I’d recommend bringing your own. Besides that it was great

The house was perfect for our three day stay in Chico. It's a great location, close to downtown and Bidwell Park. Everything you need is within walking distance. The tree lined streets, including East 7th Street, in Chico are picturesque this time of year. Loved the place and we will be back. Oh, and Traci is a great host.

We stay with my daughter’s family. Bedrooms arrangement were perfect. Kids loved game table and pool. Perfect for a family. We absolutely loved our stay.

Great stay just had to leave a bit early because I had a family emergency. It was super quiet. Couldn’t hear anything love the animals there were a couple things that kind of creeped me out, but for the most part, it was great. The host was very communicative. The things that creep me out were the fact that they were whips hanging up in the bathroom and made me a little bit uncomfortable, cause I’m black man with a black friend and we in the middle of nowhere and it was very quiet. It just didn’t seem proper. I know that it probably wasn’t intended to be anything such as representation of slavery, but that’s kind of how I felt. That’s why I said it creeped me out a little bit and also didn’t help me knowing it was very quiet, but besides that everything was great left a little bit of a mess because I had to rush out really early truly apologize wasn’t intended. I intended to stay longer, but some things came up.

Amazing Stay! Exactly as Described!” We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! The property is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The huge backyard was a fantastic space for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors, and the pool was a bonus. It’s perfect for families or anyone who enjoys a little extra room to unwind. The host was truly excellent—super responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful in ensuring we had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, close to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation, yet still quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

This was the perfect spot for our family get together. It was ideal for our toddlers with lots of space, toys and activities for them to engage in! The chickens were well loved, pool thoroughly enjoyed, and we the fire pit was a delight! Highly recommend and would love to come back!

My family and I recently stayed a Laurie's place in Chico for a week. We loved the pool! We walked daily in Lower Bidwell Park which is located just 3 blocks from the house. The house was spacious for our group of 8. We did have an issue with the washing machine, but Laurie was very responsive and worked hard to rectify the situation. The house could use a few cosmetic updates, such as plumbing fixtures, but compared to other similar size houses in the area, this house was in better shape than most and the price was reasonable.

We had 3 couples from our family and 6 children, ranging from 2 to 11. There was plenty of room for all and we had a great visit. The kids loved the pool. The adults liked it also. This home is up to date and we'll equipped. We would definitely come here again. The host was extremely helpful and great to work with.

This listing was so convenient as we could walk to Bidwell and drive anywhere we wanted to go within 10 minutes. The hosts were helpful and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of space for all eight people, and we all felt completely at home. We will definitely stay here again! Honestly, the place was even better than the pictures. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Loved my stay here. It was cozy and a walkable distance to coffee and amazing breakfast and lunch spots. Would definitely book here again!

The location was great! There’s an entrance to Bidwell Park right next to the house and you can be at a creekside picnic table in about a minute walk from the front door. The home was very inviting as soon as we walked in and the neighborhood was quiet. Thanks Britt and Paul for the peaceful stay.

The house was very good. Everything was perfect. They were very good people. They responded immediately.

Annie’s place was fantastic. It had everything we needed and was even bigger than it appeared in the photos. Annie thoughtfully offered to set up the futon bed in the living room so we had two separate full size beds. The kitchen is large and was well-stocked with every kind of implement we could need. There were many sweet details, such as fresh flowers and handmade soap. I will definitely stay at Annie’s next time I visit Chico.

Gary and Kay were just wonderful! They were responsive, flexible, kind and great to deal with. They made me and my dog feel right at home and their space was absolutely adorable! I would definitely recommend staying here and go again

This is a beautiful & peaceful location. Very private & quiet. I loved doing afternoon yoga on the back patio & enjoyed my morning coffee out there as well as I watched the sun rise. We had some internet issues early on, but Angelleyna was very responsive & got it rectified immediately. Would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us this way!

Host responded fast and was very accommodating.
