This place was absolutely amazing. The bath tubs on the porch were romantic and relaxing. The host was helpful and informative. We will absolutely be back. Worth every penny. ♥️⛰️

Great place to stay after skiing all day. Nothing fancy but very functional and clean. Short drive to restaurants.

In winter, if it snows you definitely need 4WD with reasonable snow tires to get to the house. We followed friendly advice given to us and managed okay for Hawaii drivers. The home is beautiful although the floor plan was not what I expected. Having two sitting rooms both with fireplaces was a pleasant surprise. The hot tub is a little smaller than anticipated - just right for two, tight for three. Excellent access to Disco, a surprisingly affordable ski area with challenging terrain! Overall, I would rent again if I planned another wintertime adventure in Montana. I wish we had more time in the area.

Beautiful cabin the the National Forrest! Great location plus great amenities, the house was very comfortable for the week. The lake was a great place to adventure and fish. Summer was a great time to visit very quiet and serene. The cabin had more then enough room for the whole family will be back to visit again!

This was our second time staying here. It’s the perfect layout and we absolutely love it. I feel like the pics in the listing make this place look smaller than it is. Just know that 5 very large teenage boys can lounge on the sofa in the living room with plenty of room between them. We had 7 people but this house could hold a several more without it feeling crowded.

Absolutely amazing!!! We could not believe how perfect the outdoor hot spring was, very private and star gazing was so cool! The cabin was very clean and cozy, the restrooms were also super clean and sanitary! We highly recommend renting ATVs a ridgeline, pipestone trails were a blast. Parker is a amazing host and we are so excited to plan our next trip, this is such a special place forsure! Thank you Pipestone Villege!🤘

Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay the River Retreat cabin. Nicely decorated. Great location with lots of space. It had everything we needed. Big fenced yard that our dog appreciated. The hot tub was great after a long day at the Montana Folk Festival in Butte.

Pipestone village was a last minute find but truly a gem of a spot. The cabin, the outdoor tub and shower… everything made the stay worth it. Moreover, the host was supremely accommodating and helpful in guiding us to this place when we unintentionally took a wrong turn and ended up on a remote mountain!

Silver Star ranch was exactly what we needed. It was private and peaceful and a great place to launch two weeks of exploring from. we hit the tobacco root mountains, Virginia, Nevada, and Bannack ghost towns (Nevada & Bannack were our favorites), pioneer scenic byways and scouted dozens of off grid camping sites for next year in the various national forest. For pets, one thing to be aware at the cabin is are the prickly bears (small cactus)... bothered our German shepherds feet some. Local vet in Sheridan was great and gave us a spray to toughen pads while we were out. it really helped. We climbed the area behind the cabin too...good workouts each morning. Jim was a great host and easy to talk to. Thanks Jim!
