Stayed for only a couple days but was very relaxing and worth the stay. Exceeded expectations from the listing and pictures. Provided essential amenities plus more. Very clean. Location is out of the way which a little more than I was expecting but we loved it and it was very peaceful. Sheryl was very great with communicating anything that we needed before arriving and even making sure everything was ok after. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

We've stayed here twice with our extended family. Our kids have gotten used to fishing in the pond and roaming the grounds. This is a very special place, and the house itself is a historical landmark. The owners have done excellent work to keep the house updated while also preserving the period furniture and charm. Highly recommended, and we would certainly stay again.

Amazing beauty of nature surrounding quaint, brand new, beautifully furnished, fully equipped and fully stocked cabin. Everyone was super helpful and supportive. Communication was proactive and help was easily accessible. The only thing to consider is age and condition of adults who have to climb the narrow, steep spiral staircase to sleep upstairs. Perfect for a family where the adults can stay downstairs in the master bedroom and kids or young adults can stay upstairs.

Lovely home! Plenty of open space for family time! Close to the water and the views are perfect in the area! Kroger near by, along with plenty of things to do and restaurants to visit! It was perfect for our weekend vacation to see my husband’s family. Only negative thing we saw, there’s a few cracks throughout the home seem to be a foundation issue didn’t interfere with our stay by any means just very noticeable upon arrival.

Billie's place is so adorable! The feel is very warm and inviting! It was very clean and although it is an older home it smelled clean and invigorating. The decor is as pictured and very well kept. The bedrooms are spacious with suitable closet space. The beds are more than comfortable and I could tell the bedding was thoughtfully selected, and clean. The amenities provided during the stay were adequate for two. The backyard was one of the many places I took advantage of as there is a charcoal grill for those that enjoy grilling and it is very spacious. The location is a short distance to downtown, JSU, and the grocery store. One thing of note would be the size of the bathroom as it is very small, but has great water pressure, very clean and well decorated. I would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again.

Great stay. Needed a nice place to stay in the area for work. Victoria is a friendly and responsive host. Would stay again!
