We had a lovely visit, so close to beach, Jolene extremely friendly and helpful, shared a fresh bread loaf she had just bought, always smiley, solved tv remote problem driving 20 mins to buy new batteries, told us about a local farmers market etc…weather rainy but out of her control!!!! Fantastic property - great for the family to enjoy time together and then spread out to different spaces to enjoy the pool (with a slide the kids loved), kids room with TV or spacious and light bed rooms. Location was great to walk to local shops, restaurants and cafes, easy walk to river to fish or paddle board and stroll to beaches. Min and Ryan were extremely helpful and left out games/toys/books for our kids after checking their ages. A fantastic stay and a lovely property.

This is a very special property, full of creativity, warmth, and charm that will make you feel like you’re at home. Each corner, and every item within, has been thoughtfully considered. From a lovely art collection, to beautiful books and furniture, well-loved plants, an herb garden, bird songs, an outdoor pizza oven, to a sense of history, it is truly the details that set this home apart. The hosts have clearly poured their hearts into creating a space that feels both personal and welcoming. The hosts are incredibly warm and attentive. They provided a guide with all the local recommendations and answered our specific questions. They were easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Their passion for their home and what they do shows in every interaction. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a touch of magic and a lot of love, this is it. Brilliant house, extremely homely but with all modern amenities. Host was fantastic, very communicative and helpful during our stay. Location was spot on, short walk to the bars and restaurants and even a grocery store just across the road. We cannot wait to visit again!!

What a wonderful house in a fantastic setting. It had everything we could possibly want (even Easter eggs) and the town of Bryon Bay was a very short car journey (we could have walked it but were feeling a little lazy). Plenty of things to keep you occupied, great shops, beautiful beaches, fab restaurants. I would definitely recommend a visit 👍

The Old Timber Mill was a great stay for our team! Beds were comfortable and each room was private to the other rooms. Lots of areas to eat and chill, which was great for us after a day at work. Beautiful property and it was nice to have a piece of history refurbished for another use in a very tasteful way, respecting the origins of the property. Will happily book this stay again!

If you get the chance to spend time here do it. This is a really special place. The home is super stylish and comfortable and the location is absolutely amazing. Calm and peaceful yet close to so much. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Steven is very easy to communicate with.

The perfect place for our group to stay in Byron for a week over New Years. Amazing spot, close to beaches, easy walk into Byron. Easy to chill out in the house if need be, with a spa and a big living area with foxtel. The owner is very easy to communicate with if any questions or problems arise Will 100% stay again!

Great apartment across the road from wide Sandy beach. Easy walk to restaurants and bars.Lovely sitting out on the large deck overlooking the ocean. Nice and quiet even though the hotel is only a couple of doors down

Beautiful and peaceful location with an incredible view. Paul’s home is very well stocked and has everything you need for your stay. The large kitchen makes it easy to cook up a feast for your big groups. Bedrooms and amenities were comfortable (great to have a dog friendly option). Thank you for hosting us!

Amazing home for our 2 families of 10! Fantastic home in an ideal location ~ close to great cafes, restaurants and great beaches. The home was absolutely perfect with lots of added extras including pantry items, cleaning products, coffee pods and beach towels. The kids had an amazing time using the bikes, paddle boards and canoes left for us to use. Our host Keisha was extremely helpful and very quick in responding to our questions. We will definitely be back to visit! Thank you 😊

We were privileged to stay at Serenity which exceeded our expectations to celebrate our mother's 80th Birthday! We were 4 families thrown together for four days. There were ample areas to just sit and relax separately not feeling like we were on top of each other. The kitchen/dining area was the main gathering point with an abundance of space. The butler's pantry was a dream with a plethora of crockery and glass wear - everything you could ask for and more. The 2 dishwashers were a god send as was the BBQ! Everything supplied has been very well thought of. The bikes were an added special bonus with many a cycle to Caba, Kingscliff or beyond as well as the pool table which was a major hit. We loved the privacy in close proximity to the southern Gold Coast area and Kingscliff. It really started feeling like home. Do yourself a favour and book for your next large gathering - it will not disapoint! We will definitely be back next year for another family get together.

It’s was lovely, perfect place for a weekend getaway! I wish I had more time to stay and relax there a little longer

The Eco Retreat was amazing. It was the perfect little escape for a relaxing weekend. The view out to ‘The Cloud Catcher’ was awesome and you could just sit on the balcony with nothing but nature in view and in the ears. The pool and its surrounding area were also top notch. All round just a great place for slow pace and peace n quiet. Didn’t really want to leave to be honest. Graham was also great, responsive, attentive and very easy going. Great just to sit with and have a chat. Will definitely be back when in need of a break from the hussle.

From the moment I arrived I felt like I had entered an oasis of healing and self reflection with a transcendence of kind energy, as Paul made me a fresh cup of tea and told me about his path to help others transform their journey through various holistic practices. I did manage to try out the light and sound therapy experience, and would 100% recommend it for anyone interested in healing and science. The shower utilised a rain water tank, and the bedroom was surrounded by beautiful scenery, sounds of birds, and rustling trees. These of course added to the overall ability to relax and unwind. I ventured out to the mineral pool on a few occasions, which was surprisingly a comfortable temperature till late in the evening. Locally, there was an abundance of things to see and do, and Paul made sure I was informed. The various house guest all made me feel so welcome, one inviting me to her birthday and another preparing and sharing a curry, health tips and drinks. Thank you 🙏

Trent & Emma were great hosts, from the initial booking to check-in, our random questions, local recommendations & general information, incredibly easy to communicate with. Their home was lovely, and in one of the most beautiful & relaxing parts of Australia. The kitchen was easy to prepare meals and had what we needed to cook & eat-in on the wet days. The chickens made us Brekky each morning with their many eggs, the fire pit got a workout with some toasted marshmallows and the pool helped us all cool down on the warmer days. Fair warning for the city slickers: - Optus & Voda coverage was fairly non-existent (possible a Telstra area), but also a good excuse to go off the grid for a few days - The nights were very warm & humid, good reason for a late night dip in the pool before sleep Both 100% out of the hosts control :-p What they could control was all spot-on!

The house was nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of the ocean and stars at night. The house was nice and spacious, especially the deck. However, it was not well maintained. We experienced a broken fan and a broken tool to open the windows that were too high to reach. Part of what makes this house really special is the beautiful big windows that look out onto a stunning view. However, there were no screens and it was quite warm in the house unless the windows were open. At night we felt the need to close the windows due to bugs, which made it a bit uncomfortable for us in the evenings.
