I spent a month in Gyan and Simon's boatshed and had the most wonderful time. I slept peacefully with the sound of the waves in the background. I woke up every morning to the birds singing and enjoyed the most incredible sunrises on the beach just four minutes from the house. Endless walks on the beach, through the national park and it's only a stone's throw to the centre of Byron Bay. Everything here has been chosen with love and taste. Delicious organic produce greeted me in the fridge on arrival. The boatshed has everything you need to feel at home. Gyan and Simon are the sweetest and most caring hosts. They gave me as much privacy as I wanted but were always there for me when I needed help. Thanks to their local tips and help with some of the organisation, I was able to explore so much and see the most beautiful places. It was incredible! Leaving this magical place and these beautiful humans was not easy.

Such a beautiful spot within walking distance of Federal village with its cafe, playground and boutique shops. Well stocked kitchen with all the basics plus breakfast items, great bbq, air fryer and coffee machine that was a wonderful addition. Bedroom fans were great and beds comfy. Had a bush walk through to the watering hole for a dip and walk along the stream, and an outside shower when we returned (10/10 recommend!). Saw a kangaroo at dusk down the back of the paddock which the kids absolutely loved... Make sure you get out and enjoy the surrounds as its so special. Would love to visit again!

Stayed with my daughter for 3 nights. The cottage is tucked behind the host's house. It is a quiet location away from a street which is very busy when it is a good beach day. The air-conditioning was very welcome. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor table looking at the garden. It is a short walk to Belongil Beach and a pleasant longer walk along the beach to the Byron Bay township.

This place is a gem of a stay if you are looking for a quiet, private, intimate getaway in nature. The swimming hole was an absolute delight, although we were personally too cold to take a dip. We definitely want to come back in the summer to try. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and fire pit. A lot of lazing around on the deck, content with staying in with a good book and surrounded by the scenery. Stars at night were stunning. We only left to go for drives around to visit Nightcap National Park, have a pub feed at Lismore, pop into the butcher at Clunes, and a Cafe brunch at Bangalow. Beautiful drives around this area.

Loved our stayed here. Booked an hour before coming the Byron Bay, these guys were so proactive and easy to deal with - confirmed our stay instantly. The room was clean, and not too far from the town centre of Byron.

Kirsty’s place was amazing! The location was perfect, close to lots but still quiet and peaceful. Kirsty was super friendly and helpful, check-in and our entire stay was easy and smooth. The space itself was even better than the photos; clean, stylish, and really comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot in Byron!

We had such a wonderful stay at Sue’s place — it was truly perfect in every way. The space was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and located within easy walking distance to town, which made everything super convenient. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Sue had put so much thought into making guests feel welcome, with lovely touches that made us feel right at home. As someone who’s currently pregnant, I especially appreciated how kind and accommodating Sue was to make sure I had everything I needed. It meant a lot and made our stay all the more relaxing. The amenities were exactly what we needed — while we didn’t end up cooking, we made great use of the fridge and crockery for our breakfasts, and the kitchen was so well-stocked that we definitely would’ve been set if we had decided to cook. Overall, it was a peaceful, thoughtful, and beautifully kept space that my partner and I would highly recommend. Thank you, Sue, for such a memorable stay!

Isabella was a delightful hostess who communicated well and the cottage was clean and quiet. It is located within easy walking distance to Baker & daughter for great coffee. I would happily recommend this accommodation if you are staying in this area.

This place is first class and I highly recommend it. The accommodation is super chic (reminiscent of some of the W Hotels I’ve stayed in). The central Bangalow location means it’s a short walk to markets, coffee and bakeries with plenty of options for dining and cocktails. Alternatively grab a few groceries from the farmers market, hinterland honesty boxes or shops and prep something in the well equipped kitchen. The property overlooks Piccabeen Park which is perfect for yoga or an early morning walk. I found the hosts responsive, helpful, warm and accommodating. They are locals and know all the cool spots if you’re looking for recommendations for anything. I discovered the property is associated with the luxurious Bangalow Wellness Hub, so on my next visit I’m bringing my sister and we’re booking ourselves some treatments! Many thanks to the hosts for a very special and much needed weekend in paradise. I will be back soon!

Melinda's place was simply gorgeous. Moroccan inspired, well appointed, and the personal touches on everything really stood out. Everything was quality and purposeful. The surroundings were tranquil and super private. It was like being in a lush Balinese rainforest up in the jungle of Ubud! They even provided an excellent sound system, iPad for music and the best coffee! The accommodation was easy to find. It was not within walking distance to town, but only a 5 minute drive. It felt like you were a world away, but still so convenient. It was exactly what I was looking for. If you're looking at booking this property, don't hesitate... you won't want to miss this!

Kate and Jason’s place is peaceful, private and perfect. The bathroom is really spacious and the bedding is really soft and luxurious, the kitchen has everything you need and there’s a cute little outdoor patio space to sit and relax in. A stunning and tranquil location. Close enough to Bryon and other beaches that it was easy to get around, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The gorgeous property felt very private although the welcoming Polina was on hand if needed.

We loved our stay at this cottage, which is full of thoughtful and vintage touches. It’s private, beautifully decorated and cosy, and easy walking distance into town. We found the bed super comfy, the bathroom really well appointed, and we appreciated all the good local recommendations from our host. There’s not quite a kitchen / kitchenette in the cottage, but a microwave and two-burner hot plate has been provided, along with a good stock of crockery, cutlery, utensils and basic cookware. We used these a bit, but also ate out frequently because the food around here is amazing. Overall, we can highly recommend this little gem and would happily come back!
