I spent a month in Gyan and Simon's boatshed and had the most wonderful time. I slept peacefully with the sound of the waves in the background. I woke up every morning to the birds singing and enjoyed the most incredible sunrises on the beach just four minutes from the house. Endless walks on the beach, through the national park and it's only a stone's throw to the centre of Byron Bay. Everything here has been chosen with love and taste. Delicious organic produce greeted me in the fridge on arrival. The boatshed has everything you need to feel at home. Gyan and Simon are the sweetest and most caring hosts. They gave me as much privacy as I wanted but were always there for me when I needed help. Thanks to their local tips and help with some of the organisation, I was able to explore so much and see the most beautiful places. It was incredible! Leaving this magical place and these beautiful humans was not easy.

A gorgeous little ‘beach shack’. Clean, comfortable bed, quiet and everything we needed was supplied. Cheryl is a fantastic host and Indie was up for lots of pats. Thank you Cheryl, see you next time.

I had some lovely and much needed downtime in this little paradise in the forest. Thanks to the hosts, the trees, the little green snake, the wallabies, the goanna maybe and all the birdies. Oh I forgot the quartet of ducks at night. A great place to be quiet and find your stillness again 💜🤍❤️.

I had a lovely stay and now I’ve been and seen will be happy to return in the future for a longer stay. Just to clear up something that did stop me originally from booking longer after reading the reviews. There is no mould smell at all, just saying for future review readers. I’m very sensitive to mould and I can assure you I wasn’t affected in any way. It’s close enough to decent pubs, cafes and restaurants in various other little towns. Ticked all my box’s - lounge area, cooking facilities, big bathroom, outdoor area, comfy bed and off street parking. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful place, very tranquil. Amazing spot- close to everything. Loved that I parked my car at accomodation and walked everywhere on holiday. Had everything one needed.

Such a great getaway at the Alpaca Shed. It is beautiful and simple and quiet and so "away from it all".. and the surrounding area is just beautiful. Also The Channon pub is great for a drink and a feed. Can highly recommend staying here 😊

This place is amazing! Such a homely little place and very peaceful. Natasha was so great to communicate with and very kind. The only issue we had was a power outage all of one night and it was extremely hot & humid so we had to open the French door which has no screen which resulted in getting eaten by mosquitos all night. Would definitely stay again though and highly recommend this lovely little place 🥰 It was great for our dogs too!

Perfect short stay accommodation, easy communication, good location, peaceful, lovely outside shower with the heater, under the stars, moon shining....surrounded with subtropical trees. Tallow Beach 3min drive. Super comfy electric queen size bed, and fluffy pillows. Definitely would go back again.

I am a return guest to Lenny's place. I LOVE the feel of the place - the ocean sounds throughout the days and nights, the great nature all around, the tastefully designed home, the amenities - I SO love staying here. And Lenny is a dream host - in every way - proactive, kind, divine. I've put my wishlist in for more stays!!

My stay at Alya Tiny Home was incredible! Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape from city life. One of my favorite moments was waking up to the soothing sound of rain pattering on the roof—so peaceful and refreshing. The tiny home was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Tallowwood house was a rustic and peaceful escape from the world. The outdoor bath and shower were amazing and the night sky lights up with a million stars on a clear night. We had a few dramas with the weather- after postponing our trip due to cyclone Alfred, we had another deluge the night before our arrival, which caused some road damage. Josh communicated with us all day and after a short delay all was fixed and we were able to check in without any real inconvenience. Thanks for an amazing stay in a gorgeous location.

Had a lovely stay in Melissa’s apartment which was lovely, clean and comfortable. About a 20 minute walk out of centre of town in a lovely neighbourhood.

Lovely place! The eco pods are the perfect size (bigger than the photos!), comfortable beds, super new and clean and perfect for a stay in Byron. Although a little outside of Byron main, you can easily catch an Uber, bike or bus when they run (check the schedule) but hiring a car would be beneficial. Lovely hosts, incredibly helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again!!

Great location for a quiet stay outside town. Close enough to still get Ubers into Byron if needed. Everything was extremely clean and Ann and Jules are lovely people. Lots of nature around and definitely recommend for city getaway.

Too cute !!! Betty Boop as a caravan was all we needed when it was time to turn in... They say the best room in the house, is NOT in the house... well this whole accommodation is basically a top-end glamping space with a serene view like no other!!! Kookaburras morning and evening... Cheeky young magpies skulking about for a few treats... just heaven !!! We would love to return again and again and again... didnt want to leave, seriously !!!! And please give Charlie a pat for us... the friendliest border collie totally living his best life 🙏🏽🕉❤️

We stayed here for a wedding recently and thought it was just the most perfect spot to base ourselves, so beautiful to wake up to hills and countryside and the sound of Kookaburras in the morning. Beds were amazing and we felt right at home. Lovely spot to stay in Byron Bay and the host are incredibly welcoming. Highly Recommend!!
