Great place to stay! Had everything you could need. We went during winter but will definitely be back during summer.

My family all enjoyed their stay at this homey cottage. Loved the close proximity to the river. The back yard, being fully fenced, was great for our dog. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit outside in the evening. The kitchen & bathroom were clean & fully stocked with everything we needed. The neighbour’s were very friendly, the hot tub was relaxing & Pierre was very quick to respond to my questions.

Great location - walking distance to vorlage, shops, cafes. Very cosy and lovely views of the Forest. Lucie is a very friendly and attentive host. Thanks for having us 😊

Four of us had a wonderful winter getaway at Josee's chalet. The house was surprisingly spacious and extremely well stocked with all the utensils, dishware, and entertainment that we would need. The place was cozy and rustic, but still had high tech appliances and was very clean. We appreciated that the location was only a short drive from Ottawa yet felt quiet and tucked into nature. We realy enjoyed the hot tub and cozying up by the fire, and were also able to go snowshoeing in the nearby Wakefield trails and take a quick trip into some Wakefield shops. For those with limited mobility, just note there are some steep stairs going up to the house which could be especially tricky to navigate when covered in snow and ice. However, we did appreciate that the driveway was plowed in the morning after a large snowfall. Overall, we wish we had even more time here and would definitely return!

Emily’s house was a dream and is highly recommended. Our family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10) spent a week at Emily’s house while in Ottawa to help out a family member. We were so grateful for Emily’s hospitality. As we were there during yet another wave of the pandemic, coupled with virtual school, we were basically in lockdown at the house - it could have been a very unpleasant week. Instead, it was truly wonderful to have Emily’s beautiful home to feel grounded in. The house was clean, comfortable, exactly as represented in the pictures, and we were struck by the attention to detail. The communication with Emily was perfect. After a week in the house, we joked about staying a week longer! There is no doubt that we will return.

Perfect location for our skating weekend in Ottawa. Quick walk to the canal. Backs onto a great park and wonderful dog walking. The apartment itself has everything we needed and was very comfortable.

My family and I really appreciated staying in this stylish, interesting, beautiful house. Everything about it is comfortable and convenient. Towels and linens are generously provided, and there are lots of extras from coffee to paper products. The kitchen is nice to cook in. The windows provide beautiful light, but the home feels private. The place is very quiet and private. We enjoyed walking in the fields and woods that are immediately adjacent. Patrick was an ideal host for us, offering assistance and answering questions but he was very discreet. I really felt like the house was ours during the time we stayed there. We would love to return sometime. I recommend this place very highly.

We had a wonderful stay. Very quiet neighbourhood. Great location and the rental was spotless and had everything needed for a perfect stay. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

James’s place is immaculately clean, bright, comfortable and in the best possible location in Ottawa, close to great pubs, restaurants, amenities and right by the river. Communication was very efficient and I’d book again in a heartbeat

Lisa’s place was great! My husband and I travelled with our dog to Ottawa to go skating on the canal. The location was the highlight of the trip, walking distance to everything we needed including stair access to the canal 5 minutes away. Lisa was very responsive and kind, even offering to extend our check out time which was very appreciated. Airbnb was clean and as described. Neighbourhood felt safe and having a parking spot behind the building was a huge bonus. Thank you Lisa!

We are repeat guests and there is no where we’d rather stay in Ottawa. This is beautiful, spacious property with a well equipped kitchen, it’s spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The neighbourhood is very walkable - everything you need is nearby. Highly recommend.

Highlights of the stay were a really great backyard with pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and place was very well equipped. Host was accommodating and responsive.

Pierre’s home is lovely and well appointed. It was exactly as the photos depict. The home was spotless upon arrival and Pierre was easily reached to answer any questions. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. It was nice to be near nature but also near amenities and a short drive to downtown Ottawa.

Our family had a great stay at this rental. It was very spacious and the lay out of the home was ideal for our family with younger children. The surroundings were beautiful and even with the heavy snow storm during our stay, we did not get snowed in. The home is charmingly quirky with old and modern furniture and decor. It was comfortable, cosy and a well lived in home.

Chantal is an amazing host! my step daughter and I spent a great 4 days there while visiting Ottawa. we enjoyed the drive to and from Gatineau each day and we loved the space Chantal has for her guests. 10/10 experience and we'll be going back on our next trip there!
