Very clean, comfortable, convenient location. We very much enjoyed our stay and the accommodations!

This guest house on Lake Norman is beautiful! My husband and I have stayed here multiple times, and will continue coming back. It is so peaceful to drink a cup of coffee or read a good book while sitting right by the lake! The house is always clean, and we love being able to walk down and sit on the dock. We brought our mountain bikes this time and rode some nice trails at Lake Norman State Park. Tom is a great host, and is always responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend booking this place!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jan and Charlie’s place. Their communication was great. The pool house was immaculate and had plenty of thoughtful touches. The cookies were delicious! We especially enjoyed the family history on the walls. Highly recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely stay! We loved kayaking, swimming in the warm lake, and taking in the 270 degree lake views on the beautiful shaded dock. Frankie and Gordon were available, when needed, to answer any questions and give recommendations for the area. They live on the other side of the property (in a separate building) so it feels as if you have the place to yourself. Thank you for sharing your beautiful location with us.

The place was beautiful, well kept, and had a wonderful functional kitchen. It was so close to venues, restaurants, and all the things we wanted to see, yet simultaneously was in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. The hosts were friendly and communicative. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to people looking for a bnb in Charlotte!

Was worth EVERY penny! They were responsive and respectful. It snowed while I was there and they checked on me to make sure I was ok. I am moving to Charlotte soon, the area was great for work and house hunting! I would definitely stay again if needed.

The host truly thought of everything we might need, from thoughtful touches to providing all the essentials. Communication was smooth and easy, and check-in couldn’t have been more seamless. We had such a wonderful stay, superb value for money. Bed was super comfy and we loved being able to chill in bed with the big TV at the end of a long day. Such a beautiful spot it was the perfect location for us. The house was spotless and was so welcoming on arrival. Iftekhar was the perfect host, we hope to visit again next year.

Absolutely awesome! A charming very well kept guest house and conveniently located walking distance from the town of Matthews and a short drive from Charlotte. I loved reading the guestbook which I also added my entry detailing all the things we did. The Dwellington is also right by the Mecklenburg County Sport Complex where we had my son’s soccer tournament. Awesome place that we look forward to staying at again. Super beautiful apartment space above a garage, walking distance to downtown Belmont! Walked into the space and immediately noticed all of the custom details, space is beautifully designed and very intentionally decorated. Lots of space for a couple (and we had our baby with us)! About a 25 minute walk to downtown Belmont and 15 min to the river (we did morning walks both days). The apartment has everything that you need- fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee, ice, and things to cook although we did not cook while we were there. Bed and pillows wasnt the most comfortable we've ever experienced but not the worst. There was a parking dog around 5:30am one of the mornings we were there but we were able to put in some earplugs that drowned out the noise. Second morning he didn't hear him. Loved the outdoor porch and privacy of the trees. Overall, the space was lovely and comfortable; we will probably be back next time we visit family in the area!

Ryan is a terrific communicator. He is helpful and friendly. His place is just beautiful! It's like staying in a 5 star luxury hotel. We would definitely return!!

The place is a bit smaller than the pictures give off but very clean and organized. Couches are comfy. No complaints

Nightcap was exactly what I needed for my weekend trip! I felt right at home in the space. It was very clean and had everything I needed. The snacks and drinks provided were perfect for my late arrival after a long drive, and the flowers on the nightstand were a sweet touch. I didn’t have too much time to check out the area, but I appreciated the book full of local spots to eat! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, cozy place to stay!

My husband and I have a daughter that lives in Charlotte. We would definitely stay here again. So much better than a hotel. Plus, Plaza Midwood is a gem of a neighborhood.

We stayed here for my mom’s bridal weekend and had the BEST time at this beautiful lake house! Brian and his wife couldn’t have been more lovely and friendly. Their home is absolutely stunning! It was the perfect house for us. We can’t wait to book the house again:) I HIGHLY recommend this house. They didn’t go cheap in any aspect of the home. Every detail was thought through and we all felt right at home. It’s the only house you should consider to rent on the Lake Norman.

Our late October visit was fabulous. We rented both the guest house and main house. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved having access to paddle boards and kayaks. At one point 5 adults were out on the water! Clean and well stocked. We would love to return if in the area again!

Me and some friends stopped in Charlotte for a quick trip for a concert. This was one of the best experiences I had booking and staying at an Airbnb unit. Our host was extremely responsive and gave such clear details and instructions, that I didn’t feel unsure about anything. Truly a 10/10 experience. If you need something long term or a quick trip like us, I definitely recommend Queen City Oasis
