Great centrally located space. Well stocked and comfortable. A little noisy at night and unfortunately this plaza is a favorite spot for party goers to relieve themselves. Walked out several times to men peeing in the potted plants directly outside the door. The smell was pretty intense.

This was our second stay at this apartment. My daughter and I loved it the first time and the hosts were really great. This time we brought my husband and my daughter’s fiancé and they loved it also. Great area, comfy apartment. I hope I can come back again some day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rui's place. What really stood out is how kid friendly the place is - we stayed here with a 3 year old and a 10 month old who was crawling everywhere. We really appreciated the highchair and toys. The beach is right there and then it's not too difficult to get to Lisbon city centre, I recommend going once by ferry!

A PERFECT place to roam the Alfama in Lisbon! In all our years of Airbnb-ing, this was likely the best-managed property we have ever stayed at. Very comfortable, all upgraded (the Alfama is an OLD area!). We could not have asked for more. Quiet, as soon as you close the modern windows, but leave them open for a while to hear the Fado music drifting up from below. The bed is new and very comfortable. The stairs up to the apartment are very easy compared to many here. We 100% recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of the Alfama.

Great communication right from the start. Excellent location- right in the middle of the action ( but pretty quiet with the windows shut) and an easy walk to the stations and other public transport and many of the main sites. The flat itself was well appointed and clean with a clear guide as to how to work everything and where stuff was. It is up on the third floor so quite a few stairs - this was no issue for us ( two adults two kids) but could be more tricky if you are less mobile. Having two bathrooms was great and the showers were lovely and powerful. Would recommend a stay here.

We really loved to stay here for some days. The area is quiet and pitoresque with its wee streets and colorful houses! There are some nice Restaurants and Cafes around and the city center is within walking distance.

Wonderful apartment in a great location. We only had 2 issues. There is a massive crane a metre from the garden and extensive construction work taking place next door. Really feel we should have been notified of this before booking. The upstairs neighbour was very noisy at night into the small hours. Not great for our children.

The apartment turned out to be much bigger than in the photos! The details, lighting, decor—wow! I felt like this flat was designed as a personal home, not just as a rental. Everything was thoughtfully planned and considered. Friends warned us, ‘Don’t stay in the center, it’s noisy!’ but the soundproofing was amazing. We didn’t hear anything from the street. And just stepping onto the balcony, we could see the sea to the right! Pure delight. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, even a waffle maker. And a special mention for the host—so responsive! Nicolas answered all our questions very quickly. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

We loved the place! Clean and homely with great views to the river. The location is perfect walking distance from many places you probably will want to visit. Teresa was supper responsive and her recommendations were great. We especially loved having an evening drink in a small kiosk in a small park about six minutes walk from the apartment. A decent supermarket is seven min walk away and the kitchen has everything you may need to cook small meals. There are many places you can get a good morning coffee in a 10 minute walking radius of the apartment. The only thing important to note is that the stairs in the building are steep and could be a bit much for some people (this is true to all the buildings we previously staid in Lisbon), but the benefits are the view to the river and once you open the windows you get a great breeze. All in all, perfect place for a couple and we will certainly check availability next we travel to Lisbon.

Ha accolto egregiamente me e la mia compagna. Posticipando il check in per venire incontro al nostre necessità. Durante il soggiorno si sono scaricate la pile dell'aria condizionata e Luis tempestivamente è arrivato per portare pile nuove. Inoltre ci ha fornito un utilissimo servizio di deposito bagagli al check out permettondoci di visitare la città int totale tranquillità. Veramente un host amichevole e professionale che poche volte mi è capito. Consigliatissimo! 👍🏻

We loved this stay and highly recommend for a first time trip to Lisbon. This apartment is located on a busy tourist focused shopping street, but as a result it was very centrally located so an easy walk to other neighborhoods and parts of the city and a perfect home base to explore. The apartment itself is beautiful. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. I would choose this place again. It really felt like home even thought we were only there a few days.

Rita and Miguel's place was an ideal location and a cozy very clean comfortable unit. It's located few house down from a very central beautiful Lisbon version of Champ-Elysee, in the middle of Avenida de Liverdade. We had eveything needed in this unit to relax for few days. Miguel welcomed us with his beautiful smile and very friendly personality. Rita and Miguel took care of what we would like to do while we were there without any hesitation we appreciate that. Thank you very much for both of you.

Pedro was amazing and very accommodating. After long drive from Barcelona we arrived late and he made small snacks for us which we really appreciated. Thank You Pedro! We will defiantly stay again. Regards Lev

We loved our weekend break, group of 7 girls on a weekend away. Close to the city centre, metro, tram stops, restaurants and bars. The rooms were a great size, apartment is quirky as they've had to fit the building but beds are super comfy and most of the bathrooms are great! (back bedroom the shower is a little small in comparison and the toilet is very low, did made us laugh and wasn't an issue. Only minor points would be the bunk beds need securing to the wall and were wobbly (definitly for children versus adults) and the two front bedrooms got quite a lot of noise from the streets so earplugs reccomended. We would 100% return and thank the team for letting us leave our bags in the apartment on our last day and being so flexible and helpful with any issues we had.

From the booking to the end of our stay, everything was perfect! Peggy communicated with us and we were connected to a driver who picked us up from the airport! Her home is perfect with art and lovely lights and the best view of Lisbon from every window. Highly recommend and would stay forever if we could!

We were three couples and we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked so we had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The location was very central to the old town and main attractions. Good place to stay.

Fantastic location in old Sintra! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved people watching from the balcony doors down to the main square. We walked to Peña, Moorish Castle & Quinta de Regaleira. We were there just before Easter (low season) and found parking on road as advised by host. Used the drop off/pick up space nearby for unloading.

what can I say, Amazing host and accommodation!! This is our Lisbon home. We will be back for sure. Better than the photos and description. And yes the 28 tram is nearly at the door. Thankyou Ricardo for your time and your friendship. Oh and the jacuzzi !

Was a nice place warm as it was very cold when I was there. Lots of things around restaurants there’s a bar close by so I can get a little noisy on the weekends. Other than that it was great and Tad was very helpful and accommodating!!!!

What a great location in a very nice, quiet residential area, yet so close to everything. Situated midway between downtown Lisbon and Casçais, this really is the best of both worlds. Great for exercise as the apartment is very close to the beach and coastal walkway, also close to extensive public garden areas and the historic Palácio Marquês De Pombal and associated gardens. Easy access to Lisbon and Casçais by local train (10 mins walk way), or driving via the scenic Avenida Marginal coastal road (almost as fast, and a lot calmer, than via the highway). A great spot from which to explore the Lisbon region.

Alojamiento muy recomendable. Dispone de plaza de estacionamiento privado lo cual es un valor añadido. La ubicación del alojamiento es perfecta, en el corazón del barrio de Alfama. Próximo al apartamento hay panaderías, supermercados y zonas donde poder comer, así como la parada del tranvía 28. El anfitrión muy amable y dispuesto a prestarnos toda la colaboración necesaria para que nuestra estancia resultara agradable. Tenía el alojamiento preparado y nos permitió acceder antes de la hora convenida. El apartamento está bien abastecido (artículos de aseo, lavavajillas....) y completamente equipado. Estancia muy satisfactoria.

This is my third time staying here. The flat is extremely convenient, being close to bus stops, a subway station, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It is fully equipped with all the necessary furniture and appliances. Thanks to close communication with Jorge, I had a comfortable and worry-free stay this time too. I sincerely appreciate his support and hospitality. I would like to recommend this flat to everyone. I am looking forward to repeating my stay here in the near future.

Tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa no apartamento em Lisboa! O Sr. Luís fez questão de nos receber pessoalmente, foi extremamente acolhedor e ainda nos deu ótimas dicas sobre a cidade. O apartamento é muito amplo, estava tudo muito limpo, com uma localização excelente para explorar Lisboa. Os quartos são amplos, com camas muito confortáveis, garantindo ótimas noites de sono. A cozinha era muito bem equipada, perfeita para preparar nossas refeições, e a roupa de cama estava muito limpa. Como passaríamos a noite de Natal lá, o Sr. Luís foi além do esperado e comprou uma árvore de Natal para que as crianças pudessem montar – um gesto que tornou nossa estadia ainda mais especial. Recomendamos este lugar de olhos fechados e, com certeza, voltaremos em uma próxima visita a Lisboa!

We loved our stay! The accommodations are even more spacious than depicted in the pictures. It was very nicely decorated and had everything that we needed. Our host was very responsive before and during our stay. The neighborhood was very walkable and the location is great for restaurants,shopping, including a grocery store, just around the corner.
