Our family enjoyed our stay. Property is updated and modern with many small touches which we appreciated considering it is so far away from stores, specifically the kitchen and the little extras most hosts do not include i.e. zip lock bags, spices, coffee. Would recommend and return. Kids (ages 7-16) had a great time.

My wife and I had a great weekend. Nice and relaxing. We caught a few fish and had a nice fire one night.

Perfect relaxing get away spot. Me and my fiancé loved this perfect to rekindle and take in nature. Would definitely want to come back.

Our stay at this home was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautifully designed and impeccably maintained space. The home was not only aesthetically pleasing but also thoughtfully appointed with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Initially, the home seemed compact at first, but it offered ample space for our family. Jennifer, our host, was OUTSTANDING!! She was welcoming and attentive to our needs! Though in a neighborhood, the property felt private and peaceful. In the mornings the view from the hot tub overlooking the lake was serene. The Gatorvator was a thoughtful feature, making the deck accessible for my elderly grandfather who has trouble getting around from time to time. It allowed him to be present during all the kids outside activities and not secluded, which we loved! This home exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to our next stay. Highly recommended!

Will boom again! Me and my husband live only an hour and a half away from Rebecca’s place. We wanted to get away for his birthday. I saw the soaking tubs at Rebecca’s place and knew it was the one. Close enough to town and far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The bed was wonderfully comfortable the cabin was so lovely and comfy! And the sauna and soaking tubs gave us such a relaxing time! The drinking water is well water and Rebecca did warn us it wasn’t the best tasting. My only regret is I should’ve brought some bottled water with us. Was our first time using composting toilets, not a bad experience just different. :) We loved the surrounding trees and how peaceful and just wonderful the space was if you’re considering booking one of Rebecca’s cabins I totally encourage you to do so! Would love to return and book again in the future! Also she’s very quick to respond to messages as well!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication seamless. Place was so clean and elegant worth staying here. Highly recommend!

The host was very responsive and friendly while answering all of our questions. The home is in a gorgeous secluded section of the lake with a large fishing pier that is fairly new. The hot tub was def a highlight. It had Tons of jets and overlooked the water. The family enjoyed grilling burgers and hotdogs with me in the covered shed which was under the trees down by the water front. The inside was gorgeous with tons of space for the entire family to spread out. The casinos are only about 20 minutes away and a grocery store was only 5 minutes away. If you’re looking to get away with the family, this spot covered all the bases.

This AirBnB and it's hosts were wonderful! It is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful location. The cottage was very clean, cozy and perfect for our family. When our vehicle decided to break down after arriving, Michael was compassionate and generously accommodative to help us stay another night until we could get it repaired. We all enjoyed our time and look forward to coming again! Thank y'all again for everything!

What a great place!! We will definitely be back! Very comfortable and peaceful with plenty of amenities to feel right at home.

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

Host was awesome! The house was amazing to stay in and very nice views of the water. We would love to stay again.

I came to Cary and Debby's place to stay a few days while I fished at one of the local lakes near by. My experience was great from the time I booked until I got there. One day we had a day with all day storms and heavy rains that kept me off the lakes so I stayed at the cabin and enjoyed a day of watching football. They checked on me to make sure I was ok and if I needed anything. The place was peaceful and quiet and I loved seeing and visiting the dogs everyday after a day of fishing. I also loved to see the cross of our birth and savior Jesus Christ everyday and night when driving in or out of the property. The cross and there main house is beautiful from the highway lit up at night. Hopefully I will get back there soon to enjoy again.

This is our second stay at Monica’s place. We love staying here. Clean, secluded with great views. This is our go to when we’re in the area.

This place was beyond wonderful. The extra amenities made the stay extra special. The unit was nice and clean and the property was very well maintained. It was very quiet and peaceful! Lori is by far, one of the best hostesess that I have encountered! Overall, this was an amazing stay. 10/10, I would definitely recommend!!!

Lovely place with an even lovelier dock and screened-in patio. We were there during pollen season, so the furniture had to be dusted off, but that was out of the owner’s control. Inside the cabin was beautiful and nicely accommodated. We reported a few small issues with the TV and door in the master bedroom and never got a response from the owners, but I’d still come back and stay at this place again! One note: this place is very hard to find at night. I do NOT recommend checking in for the first time after dark.

Alisha's cabin was perfect very cute decor, and very clean, I would highly recommend her cabin to anyone, and alisha is a great host seem to be super friendly and communicated well.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and how close to the water it was. The bed was very comfortable and there was even coffe available fir my husband, we forgot to pack some. The only cons in our opinion was the lack of a path down the hill to the cabin. This could be a problem for those with mobility issues or if the ground was wet.

We spent three nights at Eve's cabin in mid-April. It was SO much more than listed, the photos don't do it justice. The house was spotless. LOVED the layout and it was decorated so perfectly, exactly as you would expect a cabin to be. It was just perfect for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and quiet. We spent most of our time on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet. We fished a little, but mostly just sat and watched the water go by! We will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect getaway less than an hour from Shreveport. Placed was fantastic and will definitely be back.

First of all, Rodney is a great host! He’s quick to respond and understanding. Second, his place was the perfect resting spot for the night. The pictures don’t do this place justice, and it’s more beautiful in person!!! The bed is SO comfortable and I felt so cozy in the whole space! It’s also a lot bigger than it looks, and I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night. Thank you so much, Rodney! ❤️❤️❤️
