Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Excellent place for a night or two away. Cosy apartment and a very comfortable bed. Hot tub was the main attraction for us and certainly didn't let us down, with it easily accesible whenever we wanted and lovely view while relaxing. Already looking forward to next time.

This place was beautiful! A perfect setting to just sit and relax either in the cottage, outside with a coffee or in the hot tub. I fully recommend this host too, Dina was super helpful and informative. This is the first time I have booked accommodation and it was a great, stress free experience. Thank you!

The cottage was lovely and tranquil, and Andrew and Angie were great hosts. They left a great book with hints and tips and notes around the cottage. Coffee and biscuits were left for us, which were much appreciated, and immediately drank and scoffed upon arrival. The garden and decking area is brilliant , and our 2 dogs had a great time playing hide and seek around the tree. The hot tub was amazing, and much needed after long walks around the area. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.

From start to finish this was a great place to stay. Very cosy and welcoming. There was a well appointed kitchen and very pleasant dining area, the garden was beautiful with a 'hot tub' which we didn't use and there were plenty of towels and a couple of bathrobes which we did use. Rosemarkie itself is a lovely village which we have visited many times and this house is 2 minutes from a super sandy beach. We would definitely like to stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Beautiful cottage, gorgeous area. Walking distance of the beach, harbour, shop and local pub. Jackie was a super friendly host, lives right next door so on hand to help. Modern corrage with everything you need, including a hot tub, lovely weekend break!

We had a beautiful home from home stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was perfect and an ideal set up for our toddler too. The garden was wonderful to explore and it was ideal to have the woodland paths right on our front door step. The hot tub on the bedroom patio was a little sun trap and perfect for relaxing. The cottage had everything we could have wanted and a well set up kitchen. Lots of do in the local area and an evening spent by the open fire was the perfect was to end the day. Laura was a really attentive host, accommodating our extra requests and meeting us at the property - thanks for a lovely stay we would absolutely love to come back.

We rented Ladywell Lodge with the Doocot for a large family holiday. Though the cottage is up in the hills, it was very quick to get to major routes. The lodge was perfect for the two couples who stayed there. It is tucked away in its own large outdoor space with woods and hill walks just moments away. It was comfortable and clean with everything as described. The kitchen was well laid out and the sitting room really cosy. The hosts were great too - Sandra is really responsive and we found the flexible check in really good. It was perfect for our family and being able to pair renting this with the Doocot meant we had a brilliant space for lots of people to stay. My husband and I would love to go back and would happily rent the lodge again as it was so comfortable in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

When you stay here, you’re staying in peace and tranquility. The cottage has everything you need, with everything to get you started such as teas and coffees (just remember your own milk). The owners allow dogs, but you wouldn’t know as when we arrived there were no signs of dog hair (nor smell!). The cottage overlooks farmland and we saw rabbits hopping along whilst we washed up. The owners were lovely, friendly and welcoming, but left us in peace too. It’s a great place for exploring the mountains and coastline and I’d definitely return.

Lovely stay! Accommodation was beautiful, all the thoughtful extras I’ve probably never seen an Airbnb go so far out their way to add that little extra to enhance a visitors stay. Very responsive to questions and the property was immaculately clean! 5 ⭐️

We had a lovely time in Aviemore. The property was as described on the site and is in a quiet area but within walking distance to town Carol was very helpful and responded quickly to any queries. I would highly recommend the property and visit again.

Perfect for anyone who wants to unwind in nature, go for walks, or just chill with some animal friends nearby. I’d 100% stay again!

absolutely amazing cottage everything was superb. The beds were so comfortable and fresh, we just loved it so much. Sharon was really friendly and very responsive to all messages. location perfect as we were at a wedding just down the road so very easy to get to. Also really good for walking with our little doggies. we will definitely be visiting Sharon's cottage again. 💜☺

We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

We found the location and facilities of Lisa and Martins cottage to be superb. The cozy cottage is within walking distance to all of the local shops, pubs and restaurants but is still very quiet. We had delicious meals at the Clachan Grill and Balmoral Arms. Cottage is stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean with a beautiful garden area which the dogs loved. We found everything we needed for a great stay, Martin gave us some really useful tips on things to do and see in the area. Loved it here, the scenery in and around Ballater is breath taking ! Wonderful hosts, would recommend this cottage to anyone. Would book again !

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen aber kurzen Aufenthalt. Leider konnten wir nicht viel von der Umgebung sehen, da es durchgehend geregnet hat. aber wir konnten dafür das Apartment voll ausnutzen und es uns dort gemütlich machen, wofür es auf jeden Fall gemacht ist.

Lovely clean, cosy cottage in a great area for exploring the north east.

We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

Lovely wee place to use as a base for exploring the northern parts of Scotland and beyond. Everything we needed and extra supplies available should we run out. You do need to drive to get to the nearest village but the local shops are well stocked the nearby deli is worth a visit. Very peaceful location and felt well looked after by our host.

The Couthy Cottage was very cozy and we loved it! Super cute and had everything we needed. It was convenient to restaurants, pubs, shops, the train station, and the Blair Castle. Our host Kate was so friendly and drove us to the Highland Games so we wouldn’t have to drive/park. We highly recommend the Couthy Cottage!

Perfect last minute find for a one night stay. Was bless with sun and clear sky for star gazing on the patio. Cottage is a few minutes walk to the loch edge, that I took full advantage of with a morning dip (albeit I had planned for a swim….) It was perfectly stocked, even with a small bottle of milk and cake (and robes and blanket)! Forever grateful for the memories made! Already planning for a winter return!

We loved staying at Woodside, it had such a good feel to the place, really warm and comfortable, exactly what you’re after on a break away. Stunning surroundings, lovely garden and a well thought out and cared for home, really lovely! We’ll definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family thanks x

We did get a little lost once we entered the estate as there was roads forking in two directions but a quick call to Gill had us back on track. Beware of the track leading up to Garden Cottage as there are a lot of pot holes. It was all worth it once we got to the cottage though. The cottage was clean and spacious with a lovely log fire that we took advantage of everyday. Plenty walks around the estate, pity we couldn't walk up to Forglen House but you get pretty views from the river.
