We were fortunate to stay for 2 weeks at Johny’s. The location is brilliant with everything you require for having bbq evenings, swimming and fishing off the beach. The apartment and complex is immaculate. The main strip of Port Douglas is a 5 minute drive away which ensures a relaxing time whilst restaurants are just up the road. We had the most wonderful stay in this villa ! It is so private and very well equipped. We loved the modern look too ! The pool is right next door for the quick dips and the visiting Kookaburras on the outdoor furniture was a highlight ! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as well as having the bbq ! Will definitely be coming back ! Our favourite so far ! It suited our family of three couples perfectly! Thank you Johnny and your team !

Beautiful place to stay. it wasnt very busy, so we had the place to ourselves most of the time. It was a bit further out from town, but very quiet. the pool area was nice, and it had great access to the beach and park right out the back. great for families, very clean and modern. only downfall was that the tree at the park dropped leaves into the pool all the time, and it only gets cleaned once a week. Overall an awesome place to stay.

We stayed a week with our family of 5. Hosts were super helpful with ideas for what to do and very flexible when we needed to stay an extra day due to a storm in Brisbane. Lovely place!

Stayed for a month Shane is a great host, clear pre- arrival instructions and always proactive and responsive. The property is in Trinity beach 5 min walk to the beach and with private parking. Great amenities and clean. I had a few problems with the oven and wifi, Shane responded quickly. Thank you again for having me.

This lovely apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was fabulous and the views from the large balcony were spectacular. Weather permitting, we ate breakfast and enjoyed sundowners sitting round the table on this balcony every day. Watching the birds, fruit bats and changing skies was a joy. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms large with plenty of cupboard space. The bathrooms also well-equipped and the little laundry room an added bonus. It was a very short walk to restaurants and shops and an only slightly longer walk to the beautiful 4-mile beach. Being able to park our hire car under cover right in front of the door was very helpful as we checked out in torrential rain. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

We so enjoyed this home and it’s location. Port Douglas is a wonderful town with plenty to see and do. Wendy’s home is nicely furnished, we appreciated the bottle of wine and a kitchen with all the things we needed for meals and drinks and such. We used the washer/dryer which worked great! Watching the birds from the back deck was really fun. The only things that we felt needed attention were the couch, which appears very old with completely worn cushions-it wasn’t comfortable, a broken kitchen chair and a decent sized hole at one of the downstairs hallway window frames. While none of these things were a game changer, they should be addressed to make the home more comfortable. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely book again.

We stayed at this Airbnb in Port Douglas for about nine days. The apartment was very clean, with an amazing kitchen and living room. The bedrooms and linen were spotless, and the mattresses were firm and really comfortable to sleep on. The apartment had air conditioning, making our stay comfortable day and night. The location was great, just a five-minute drive from Port Douglas and about a ten-minute walk to the beach. The host was very responsive, making our stay even better.

We really enjoyed our stay. Yummy and John were very accommodating and friendly for us. The rooms and home was very cosy and spacious and provided exactly what we needed for our stay.😊

We had a wonderful stay at Johnny’s villa. The best location and perfect space to relax and enjoy Port Douglas. Would definitely recommend Johnny’s place!!

Unfortunately we had extremely heavy rain every day for the six days, which obviously no-one can control. We did have an issue with the electronic gate, which we had to open manually in pouring rain. A technician could not be obtained to repair the gate during our stay, again understandable on account of the weather. A beautiful home to which we will probably return, when it is (hopefully) sunny

From the moment we stepped inside, we felt at home. Martin and Clare use the house and it shows in the little details - enough cooking condiments, plenty of toilet paper, supply of dishwasher and washing tablets, cling film etc The location is very private and peaceful, and the off street parking space is so useful as you do need a car. We were a couple, but 2 couples could easily stay comfortably. Spotlessly clean kitchen and bathrooms were a highlight and lovely white bed linen. For us, it ticked all the boxes and we would happily stay again and recommend it to anybody wanting Port Douglas accommodation.
