Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts! I can’t recommend this spot enough as the location, though not right downtown, is only a couple blocks away and is very walkable to the local restaurants and shops. The carriage house itself is beautifully renovated and has everything you need, including a nice outside area if the weather is nice. Jackie was very responsive and got back to me when I had questions within minutes. Why anyone would stay in a hotel when this gem is an option baffles me. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a peaceful place to stay for a few days on the Maine Coast this fall. This home was perfect. We were very comfortable from the minute we arrived. We especially enjoyed the deer and turkeys in the back yard every day. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay near a working harbor and a short drive to the Schoodic area of Acadia this is a near perfect home.

The place was very comfortable and the entire family enjoyed relaxing in the house and on the deck. They also had lots of fun kayaking, swimming and fishing at the lake. Candice is a superb host. Very quick to respond if you have questions. It was such a pleasure staying at her place.

We had the most amazing stay at Salt & Sand Cottage in the heart of Saint Andrews! This charming Cape-Cod home was everything we could have hoped for—cozy, comfortable, and in the perfect location. The open-concept kitchen and living space made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. The cottage had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. A special shoutout to our wonderful host, who was incredibly flexible and accommodating to our group’s needs! We’re already looking forward to our next booking and adding this gem to our list of go-to stays. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well equipped to cook several homemade meals. We played games, enjoyed the cable channels, and the internet was great! The washer and dryer was full size which was a plus while traveling. There was plenty of towels, blankets, and linens if needed. The home was very clean and homey. Schoodic house is an amazing peaceful getaway that within a very short drive or walk has you in town or into one of the many parts of Acadia National park. Jennifer and Brian’s home was the perfect end to each day stayed and would absolutely love to enjoy their hospitality again!!

We had a lovely stay at Krista & Gilles's house on Water Street. It was a great spot to bring our families together for a weekend getaway with enough room for everyone. The house is close by to all restaurants, shops & attractions and everything is in walking distance with a lovely water view. Thank you for hosting us.

Perfect week for family time together. Sandy and Charlie are true emissaries for their community, sharing family stories and the history of Jonesport, the life of lobstermen, and fresh complimentary lobster too!!! We loved the century + old house, the vistas, nearby hikes, and location within an hour and a half drive to Acadia, Campobello, and much more. As first time visitors to Maine, our experience was just lovely, thanks in no small part to these welcoming airbnb hosts!
