Spent 3 days here away from the noise and people was very relaxing, our host was very helpful and tended to our needs, i would recommend to anyone wanting to have a few days by themselves to rest and enjoy a peaceful moment

I would highly recommend Nature’s Retreat! The name is quite accurate, and if you are looking to really immerse yourself in a beautiful nature setting away from it all, this is the place. Our crew was nine friends from around the world who gathered here over New Year’s, and to give a sense of the experience, on NYE, we all waded out into the warm shallow bay surrounded by the tropical jungle and mountains, had the hosts turn off the electricity to the Retreat and welcomed in 2020 with the only lights being the stars and bright Milky Way above. Stunning. As were the bonfire the hosts built, the trips they took us on around the islands with the property’s catamaran, the massages they organized (so cheap and very very good) and the other tours they helped us arrange. In terms of the hosts, we cannot say enough good things about Sam, his family and his crew. They are incredibly kind and affable human beings, completely professional and on top of all of the logistics and always available for any assistance or advice. And a real bonus is that Sam and his wife are incredible cooks - we learned they own a restaurant in PP, and it showed in all the meals which were very well done. There is no question the place is rustic, and it is secluded (no neighbors). And that is its amazing charm. But don’t expect to be able to just pop in and out of town in 5-10 minutes on a whim. Our only caution is, before booking, check Air Swift for available flights in and out of El Nido Lio airport. Otherwise you have to fly in to Puerto Princesa and it’s about a 5-6 hour drive to the Retreat from there, depending on traffic. Shouldn’t be a problem if you look well enough in advance (which we failed to do) – so just a lesson learned. All in all, this was a really special trip for our group, and we would really recommend you consider it for yourself.

Ryan's Covu Villa in El Nido - An Unforgettable Stay Our stay at Ryan's Covu Villa in El Nido was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, this stunning property exceeded every expectation and truly set a new standard for what an Airbnb experience can be. The villa itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly elevated our stay was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond in every way, particularly when they arranged a surprise birthday celebration for my wife. They decorated a table with beautiful lights, prepared a special cake, and even sang happy birthday to her - creating a memory we'll cherish forever. The culinary experience was outstanding, with excellent food served throughout our entire stay. Every meal was prepared with care and showcased incredible flavors. Ryan has created something truly special at Covu Villa. The combination of the stunning location, impeccable service, and attention to detail makes this the best Airbnb ever!

An incredible stay with absolutely stunning surroundings. I was unsure about staying so far away from the town centre but it was 100% the right decision. Once we were there we didn’t want to leave! The restaurant had such amazing food and drinks and our wonderful host helped us to organise scuba diving and a beautiful boat trip around Coron island. All of the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. 10/10 an incredible stay!

Thank you for the accomodation. Everything was smooth from the time we set foot and the time we left the location. From the airport to the resort, managing our transportation, and the wonderful tours that was set up with the package. We also want to thank the crew specially Ms. Sarah for taking care of everything.

The Beach House is a dreamy place. It serves as a secret getaway from the popular parts of the island which I love. From the sunsets which are unmatched to the convenient island hopping tour, I would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Demi, Jess and the entire Beach House team for taking great care of me!

This place has exceeded my expectations! Thank you to the staff for the warm welcome, for the clean room, for the great food, and for helping me and my friends spend our time to the fullest. If you want some peace and quiet and great views from sunrise to sunset, this is your best bet! The friendly ladies in the kitchen are also the ladies of the resort. They cook very good food, help with your needs, and recommend the best activities to do while you’re in Busuanga. Shout out to the little girl who I met and got to play badminton with!

I was happy at Mileys, she did everything she could for us. The staff are wonderful, making them a great team. Unfortunately, I had an accident but this gave an insight to what a relaxed vibe, this beautiful place was. Being laid up in paradise wasn’t so bad after all, we loved the fresh mango iced smoothies, scrummy breakfasts and pots special Miley brewed tea. I had a walking stick whittled by Randy and arrangements were made easily to help us navigate what could’ve been a very stressful time. Miley has a unique healing nature, making me feel naturally relaxed. The evening before my accident Miley had told us her vision into making the retreat, which organically formed into a chunk of paradise at the top of the island. This took place when all the local villagers were in Covid lockdown and many had lost their jobs, the whole community were helping each other with building this project together, really is inspiring to hear. For the real travellers, not for touristy tourist! Protect it

Thank you so much for receiving us. It was by far one of the best place and we wished we would have rent much longer. I will definitely go back for 3-4 weeks. This place is far from Coron town but if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and local yet comfortable experience this is the place. The people are very kind and will get out of their way to help you. The bed and pillow are very comfortable, the pool is amazing, the view is outstanding. Thanks again 🙏

This location is amazing if you want to get away from it all. The view from the pool and anywhere else on the property will make you never want to leave. We enjoyed several dinners prepared by the staff with majestic sunsets over the water. Mylene was amazing at helping us coordinate every aspect of our stay from boat trips to the islands to making sure we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay, to include picking up a few items from the grocery store that we were unable to find at the local market. We will absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Busuanga.

We came here for our honeymoon and some tranquility after the wedding craze and many hours of travel from London. The place was paradise with beautiful white sands and crystal clear sea, fresh coconut juice and yummy home cooked meals. We felt like we were staying with family as everyone was so welcoming and warm. It was always quiet and private. Watching the stars at night while going for a swim was a treat. Going on the kayak during sunset and watching the sun go down behind the coconut trees on the island was absolutely breathtaking. Island hopping tours and snorkelling was available once we felt more energised and they were phenomenal. We loved taking naps in the afternoon and waking up just to get back into the sea! We enjoyed being surrounded by the animals, the cheeky goats, the pigs (especially Bacon!! Haha he’s funny!) the dogs, all playing together. We were really sad to leave and will definitely be back when we can. Thank you again to Rochelle, Vanessa and everybody!

A very pleasant and caring guard. A warm welcome with fruits and drinks. Secluded location. Nice private beach. Clean linen and dishes. A friendly family. Nuances: 1. Getting here is a bit difficult. But the guard can meet you at the airport. And his family will offer a menu, cook the selected dishes and feed them very tasty. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Lunches and dinners are delicious and inexpensive. 2. There is no air conditioner, only fans. 3. Sometimes the electricity (and fans) goes out at night because the house is powered by a generator. 4. Wi-Fi is only available in the backyard. But if you come to rest, it's even a plus) If it's okay for you, then you will have a very good rest away from a lot of people, with a caring guard)

We are a family of 4 (children aged 7 and 9) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David's villa! The setting of the villa is surreal; it's absolutely gorgeous with snorkeling (and diving) and kayaking just outside your doorstep with equipment already provided by the villa. Additionally, the ease and flexibility of having exclusive access to speed boats for island hopping and snorkeling / diving day trips while not having to deal with large tour groups was amazing and so convenient and very reasonably priced for the memories you will have! David, Genny, and team are super responsive to all your requests and make you feel welcome to ask them any questions you have prior or during your stay. Really took the stress out of planning for a vacation at a villa that is secluded away from city life and only accessible by boat. Thanks for lifetime of memories David and team!

Die Hütte von Rochelle ist etwas Besonderes. Sie liegt recht abgelegen direkt am Meer und es herrscht Ruhe, verbunden mit dem Rauschen des Meeres. Rochelle und ihr Team haben es geschafft, dass wir uns gleich wie Freunde und nicht wie Gäste gefühlt haben - so sollte Gastfreundschaft aussehen. Wer Ruhe, Entspannung und eben diese Gastfreundschaft sucht, für den ist diese Villa auf El Nido perfekt! Für denjenigen, für den Komfort wichtig ist, der Land und Leute kennenlernen möchte und der einen Platz zum Baden im Meer sucht, sollte sich einen anderen Ort für den Aufenthalt suchen.

Wow! Incredible stay! We booked the island hoping tours for 3 of the days and went scuba diving on our other day. David who is a dive a master took us himself on 2 of the most incredible shipwreck dives I’ve ever done. And the island hoping tours were a blast! This area of the Philippines is the most beautiful tropical area I’ve ever traveled to. The staff at David’s are the warmest and sweetest people. The girls prepare delicious hot meals, I recommend purchasing breakfast, lunch, and dinner option. Also, if doing the Pass Island and snorkel tour, do the lunch option at the restaurant, trust me, it’s incredible! Also, the speed boat captains are great. Having a boat and captain all to yourself, no brainer, do the tours. The other guests staying in the other rental homes instantly became friends. We all did a night snorkel together. This was the best AirBnB experience I’ve ever had and I will return again. Thank you David and staff!

It's a beautiful place and I recommend it t everybody who want to explore a nice rural place and have a stay just on an incredible tropical beach. Be aware local Filipino families live nearby which is very nice if you want to immerse into the local culture, however it might get sometimes a bit loudly in the evening of early morning. The host is very helpful and carrying and provides useful information about attractions and things you can do. The Beach huts are clean and comfortable, each of them has solars/power, a private shower and toilet, however it's very basic. Absolute value for money if you are looking for something simple and you don't want to end up in a room sharing it with others.
