Great house with a very large amount of space for activities. The kitchens are fantastic for cooking for large groups. I would recommend Doc’s. Everything was perfect.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Shayla was a wonderful host, she communicated well and the photos don’t do justice. Her home was much bigger than expected and very accommodating. We rented the location for our company as a group and it was everything we needed. We had plenty of room to prep for our event. We even enjoyed spending time at the location in the evening after our event, the six of us cooked together, played darts and listened to music for some team building! We will definitely be back next year!

My family and I visited for my mother's wake. It was the perfect size and location. We loved sitting on the bayou, visiting and telling stories. The size and openness of the home was perfect for our crew. Russell was very kind and supportive for all our questions and needs!

Dillons Hackberry House for perfect for the occasion and everybody enjoyed the stay. From the pier to the spacious sleeping. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The house was a neat older house that had been updated enough to be very livable but still have charm. We experienced a couple of old house quirks that were addressed in a very timely manner. Rusty was a good host and we enjoyed our stay. Also the place was pet friendly which was great for us.

Really enjoyed the home. Nina is a remarkable decorator and host. We really loved all of her attention to detail to help make us comfortable. The home was very clean and above expectations with all of the little extras the host provided. Definitely recommend Nina and the Honey Hive home.

This Cabin Retreat was beautiful and in an absolutely amazing and serene location! Our host was wonderful and very quick to answer messages. We had a great time and definitely plan on returning soon!

Joe and Kelli literally saved our vacation. Our original booking had been canceled by the previous host, and we suddenly found ourselves without a place to stay. While searching for available accommodations in the area, we found them—and they welcomed us into their cottage. We found it clean, cool, and equipped with every comfort: a large fully-equipped kitchen, a laundry room with a dryer to wash our clothes, a super comfy couch for relaxing evenings in front of the TV, and a spacious, incredibly comfortable bed. It felt like a dream. We were afraid we might end up spending the night on the street, but instead, we found ourselves in the warm embrace of Louisiana. We’re so grateful to Joe and Kelli for accepting us on such short notice—their home was perfect. Highly recommended. We even took a walk around the neighborhood in the evening—it felt very safe and relaxing. Fantastic. Thank you!!!

Tina was a great host. The place was amazing and very well maintained. They had pool table, massage chair and karaoke with a big backyard to chill out and relax on our trip. Tina did everything possible to make our trip a success and if we are in lake charles again, we would definitely again book this place.

We were extremely pleased with our lodging experience. The house was spacious, well appointed, and most importantly, clean and safe. Enclosed garage parking was a special feature. We booked this Airbnb with Regina. It was very easy booking. Great communication. Great information sent to us. Regina is an amazing host. Very responsive. This Airbnb was absolutely amazing. It was VERY clean. It was SPOTLESS. Very spacious. It smelled and looked like it was brand new. It's a VERY safe neighborhood, which was important to use because we had 4 ladies staying for a girls' trip weekend getaway. We felt very safe. Great location near eating places, shopping, casino and park. Lots of entertainment. Our stay was so peaceful. We slept like a baby. It felt like home. We will definitely be reserving this Airbnb again. Highly recommended.

Tonya’s place is perfect for those looking to fish. Which was exact what we came to Port Arthur to do. My suggestion is to do a pick up order at Walmart before you get to the house, besides the gas station there isn’t much on that side of town. There is a great boat ramp right down the road, has three piers to fish off or launch a boat if you have one. We had to check out early due to our dog cutting his paw back home. Tonya was quick to respond with check out information. My kids loved the fact that the house was on stilts and we even walked over to the park which was about a block away. Quiet location with lots of outdoorsy things to do- sea rim state park, the battle ground, watching the boats, and fishing.

Very nice home in quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to, close to casinos, restaurants, grocery store and park. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when back in Lake Charles area. Go and enjoy.
