Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en compagnie d'Eduardo et de sa famille à la Villa Amparo. Le site est absolument magnifique. Très isolé, nous sommes venus en bus de Bogota (11h) et repartis en bus pour Medellin (4h). L'endroit est idéal pour les randonnées, pour faire du cheval et pour être au calme. Le village le plus proche, La Merced, est charmant et très authentique, à une heure à pieds ou à 15mn en Jeep qu'on peut réserver. Les chambres et la salle de bain sont rustiques mais on passe son temps à l'extérieur donc cela n'est pas gênant. Toute la famille a été aux petits soins pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux. A noter que les repas sont obligatoirement préparés par Eduardo qui propose de la cuisine locale. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse pour passer un moment authentique dans un cadre exceptionnel.

Esta finca es ideal para quienes buscan tranquilidad y contacto con la naturaleza. Aislada y equipada con todo lo necesario, permite disfrutar de largos días sin preocuparse por regresar a la ciudad. Las noches son unicas, con cielos despejados que permiten ver constelaciones y disfrutar de momentos únicos de paz. Es un espacio perfecto para relajarse, recargar energías y compartir con amigos o familia. Agradezco a los anfitriones por esta experiencia y recomiendo este lugar a quienes deseen desconectarse del estrés diario. ¡Espero volver pronto!

We had the most magical stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were meeting long-lost family. The hospitality was incredible – they made sure we had everything we needed, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing each morning. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes from the termales, with the river only a short walk away. We loved spending time with the super friendly horses, and the two adorable white bunnies that roam around were a delightful surprise. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with majestic grassy mountains surrounding the property. It’s also a pet-friendly haven, and the staff are incredibly fond of dogs, which was such a nice touch. The best part? It’s incredibly peaceful with no noise, a cozy fire pit, and a walking trail that leads you to the river. This place truly exceeded all expectations – I’d rate it a solid 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

What a fantastic place! Large bedroom, large bathroom with warm water, shower and a bath tub. Living room and kitchen are on a large outside porch. Tremendous view and quiet (only birds) and very private. Two lovely dogs, some chickens and a garden full of blooming plants, coffee and bananas. Lots of insects, bring repellent. Also the road to and from the place is quite steep and quite difficult for a small rental car. John and Jessica, the house keepers, and their kids are super friendly and willing to help. They will make breakfast and wash your clothes for a reasonable fee. Fernando en Louise, the owners, were not in town but communicated reasonably well. This was truly a great place and we would love to come back.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Marta’s home on a stunning mountainside with gorgeous views! We are so glad that we decided to make this our homebase and visit Jardin and the surrounding area for hikes, wandering town or for meals. Marta and family are lovely people and we felt so welcomed immediately. Staying at their finca, where they grow coffee and so many kinds of fruit, is a lovely way to learn more about Colombian culture. We balanced our time hanging out at the house and having some meals there with going into Jardín and hiking the area. It is worth knowing that Gustavo, Marta’s husband, is available to pick you up and bring you to/from town for a fee; he is an expert at navigating the steep and sometimes muddy road to their home. That in itself is a memorable adventure in his jeep from the 1950’s! We also got to practice our Spanish and their youngest daughter (who is was delightful) practiced her English with us. We can’t wait to return.

Gabriela es una excelente anfitriona, siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros; las indicaciones para llegar fueron claras, la atención y compañía fue constante. El papá de Gabriela nos atendió súper bien, el señor sabe mucho del campo y nos enseñó a ordeñar, el proceso del café, nos sirvió de guía hasta unas cascadas hermosas y siempre estuvo atento a todas nuestras necesidades. Ver el amanecer desde la comodidad de la cama fue realmente hermoso 🤩 Gracias por tantas atenciones. Dios los siga bendiciendo 🙏🏼

Johan es muy atento siempre pendiente de nosotros y el glamping es muy limpio bonito y la decoración magnífico, también la vista de las montañas hermosas y el lugar es privado y muy tranquilo el desayuno delicioso lo recomiendo 100% y volveré gracias Johan por todo

I stayed at Gabriel's finca for 4 days. It's such a lovely location nestled between forest, mountains, and coffee plantations. There are very few houses surrounding their place. If you're looking for a peaceful location where you want to focus on spending quality time, I heavily recommend this place :) Also every morning you get to be woken up by the sounds of the birds chirping.

This country house provides all amenities needed for a comfortable stay with comfortable bedrooms with baths and abundant open air space surrounded by nature. Perched on a hillside overlooking Jardin the views were constantly changing as clouds formed and floated by. A bumpy 10 minute drive to the beautiful city of Jardin where there are abundant offerings to satisfy any interest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

If only I had more than 1000 characters to write how amazing the family that welcomed me in their home since day 1. This is a perfect place and balance to get away from the busy city of Periera, and you get to learn soo much about the processes of coffee. The surrounding area of their property is all beautiful and natural. The family are just as beautiful as their surrounding area and are super attentive. The rooms are clean, spacious, and private, can hear the nature from your room and is very therapeutic, I couldn't ask for more. I found my place of peace, and for sure will be returning as soon as I can, I wish I could keep this place a secret but this place is HIGHLY Reccomended.

El alojamiento es adecuado y cumple perfectamente con las expectativas considerando el precio pagado. Se encuentra en una zona rural, alejada del bullicio de la ciudad, lo que lo hace ideal para quienes buscan desconectarse. Es cierto que el acceso incluye algo de camino destapado, pero no representa mayor inconveniente si llegas en vehículo o utilizas algún servicio de transporte. No es un lugar de lujo ni cuenta con las comodidades de un departamento en una zona exclusiva, pero su encanto reside en otro aspecto: las áreas verdes, la vista y el entorno natural ofrecen una experiencia sencilla y acogedora que, al menos en mi caso, era justo lo que buscaba. Fui con mi compañero y mi perro, y el lugar resultó perfecto para nosotros. Me sentí cómodo y bien recibido. Por último, la atención del anfitrión fue excelente: siempre amable y dispuesto a colaborar ante cualquier situación. Si no buscas lujo y valoras un ambiente tranquilo y natural, este lugar es una excelente opción .

My family and I loved Finca Milena. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing. I hope to go back one day.

I could not have had a more lovely two days staying with Imelda and Don Jaime on Finca Carrizales. From the moment my friend and made it to the farm, we were welcomed to their beautiful oasis with open arms. The finca is beautifully perched on the mountain, with stunning views and enough ecological wonder to keep you entertained forever. We wish we could have stayed a week! We rode horses through the fog-covered Andes, toured the organic coffee farm, ate delicious meals prepared by Imelda and Manuela, and felt right at home. One day we were excited to see bees, so Imelda contacted a neighboring finca and hiked with us to their neighbor's house for a tour of the neighbor's beehives. It is difficult to find such an enchanting place that retains it's charm and welcomes you into the fold of their ecotourism experience, without being overrun by people and the experience cheapening as a result. This place, and these people, are special. You will not regret staying at Finca Carrizales.
