My family and I needed some time away from the city and this was the perfect place! We felt at home the minute we arrived. A beautiful home with everything we could possibly need. Very well maintained, very spacious, a beautiful porch overlooking the mountains. We are most of our meals and every morning cup of coffee on the porch. The living room was spacious and comfy. The upstairs gave some nice privacy. Chris was a superb host - very clear instructions and incredibly quick to respond to us when we reached out. We are excited to return for another visit in the summer. And again in the fall!

Above It All - A cozy mountain scenic getaway!

This cozy BNB was exactly what we were looking for this weekend. Excellent view off the porch day and night. Being that it’s in the blowing Rock area there is tons of things to do around town and plenty of food options. We had breakfast at the Famous Toastery Sunday morning and it was spectacular. The host is responsive and very kind and we would totally stay again.

Perfect home and surroundings. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, house temperature was comfortable. Loved the backyard and porches. Definitely good place for any season and multiple people and ages.

Our stay at Onyx River Cottage was very relaxing. There are so many outdoor decks on the property that allow you to feel like you are right on top of the Catawba River. This place is on a dead-end street and is very rural, so if you are looking for a quiet place near nature, this is it. The restaurant within walking distance had very good food and was reasonable. Looking forward to returning.

We loved this place! Amazing views, beautiful house, loved having a fire pit outside and a fireplace inside, and just a few minutes from Blowing Rock. We did some nice hikes and hit the slopes a day for snow skiing. Thank you!

The most beautiful view we could’ve ever asked for. Space was even bigger than we expected. Had every amenity we needed and just a short drive to the town of Blowing Rock.

I would highly recommend Jamie's home to anyone visiting the Hickory-Granite Falls-Hudson area. Jamie's home was very beautiful,warm, and inviting. Her home is set in a very quiet woodsy neighborhood. I would give Jamie's home a 10+! I have family in the Hickory area so know i will have a great place to stay anytime we come for a visit.

stunning view right in front of the kitchen, such a nice spot. we received help getting up to the airbnb which we greatly appreciated. lovely stay, will definitely come again with a four wheel drive vehicle!!

Judy and her husband were delightful. Met us on arrival and gave us a tour of beautiful property on their John Deere Gator. Amazing views and awesome property. We will definitely rebook.

This play was absolutely beautiful for may families holiday getaway. The pictures do it no justice. Very spacious and private. The host Adil was friendly and responds fast.

The cabins were nice and clean. They were cozy and comfortable. They had everything we needed. The view was amazing especially sunrise over the mountains. Close to everything Blowing Rock has to offer. Brian was awesome so helpful and responsive. When we had a question or needed help with something he was always available by message and phone. If we come to the area again we will definitely stay with Brian again if not at this property one of his others.

Beautiful Mountain Lake House

Despite being at the air bnb during Hurricane Helene we had a great time. Matt is accommodating and easy to work with and the home was great! Lots of room and bathrooms with a great kitchen space. Our power was only out minimally compared to other places around us and the community came together to cut fallen trees to open up the roads. We appreciate Matt so much and enjoyed our stay.
