Tinisha's place was absolutely stunning! Thoughtfully designed, but still cosy. We especially enjoyed listening to the records both nights were were there. Was a great home for multiple couples, as every room had a massive bed and an ensuite bathroom (aside from the Shed, that is). The kitchen was really well appointed, too. Overall a great home base for a trip to Lockhart. We'd love to come back when it's warm enough to enjoy the pool! (Was a bit too chilly while we were there ...) Will note that the house is near the train tracks and they run pretty frequently through the night, so if you're sensitive to noise you might want to wear ear plugs to sleep. We always travel with them, so it was no biggie :)

I would highly recommend this house. It was easy to walk to the square. Great, safe neighborhood. The house is well stocked with plenty of beautiful linens, and I love the soaps in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is beautifully decorated! I was not ready to go home!

We had a fantastic stay at River Retreat while in town for a family wedding. The house was the perfect retreat—fully equipped with board games, kitchen essentials, and bathroom accessories. Everything was spotless, from the impeccable towels to the comfortable beds and cozy comforters. The highlight was the outdoor space and stunning river view, with stairs leading down—perfect for enjoying morning coffee. Our host was incredibly responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to come back!

We were in town a few days for a friend's wedding and this was a great place to stay to be local. The house was adorable and our hosts provided a lot of extras to make our stay great (coffee, tea, condiments, bath products, etc.). The house is near a few active train tracks and only maybe half-mile from the main thoroughfare, so coming from a western timezone, it was a little noisy for us in the morning. But our stay overall was awesome and we got SO MUCH use out of the outdoor sitting area while we were there.

Rafael was a tremendous host. He quickly resolved any issues we had and was very responsive and friendly. The house is amazing and it accommodated my team and I PERFECTLY! Would definitely recommend to anyone with a large family or a big group. The beds felt like you were sleeping on a cloud! Wonderful stay!

Excellent place to stay for our weekend in Kyle. The apartment was very clean and had everything that we needed for our weekend. Great communication and helpful instructions.

The apartment looked exactly like the photos. The complex itself is very quiet and clean. Ample space for our large dog to roam.

It’s a small but cozy room. Quiet and about ten minutes out from the city. Their instructions on how to find the place were very accurate. There’s enough sound proofing that other guests in separate units will not bother you throughout the day. Water pressure is fantastic. Ryan was very friendly and helpful.

Very new and clean place. Full kitchen utensils. We saw wild deer when we first arrived. Easy to check in by ourselves. Only 20 minutes to Outlets. We all enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend in this place.

We really enjoy staying at this Airbnb. The town is very fun and quite at the same time. It is out of the way from all the hustle of the larger towns, and yet is close many shops in driving distance.

My group of 4 would definitely stay at this place again. Exceptionally clean, easy to find, excellent communication from the owner, Keurig coffee maker, and Lockhart is a charming town. Smitty’s Market was a highlight!
